Chapter 2292: Chapter 2289: Take the Shennong Ding

Elder Yan extended his right hand, a purple flame rose up, condensing without dissipating. Meanwhile, with a gentle lift from left to right, the Snow Lotus floated up, slowly flying into the flame.

The seemingly fragile petals were not immediately scorched by the flame, instead they maintained their original color. It seemed somewhat miraculous to others, but to Lin Tian, achieving this was not difficult.

The key was in the control of the flame. Although Lin Tian was unsure about the cultivation technique Elder Yan practiced, the principle should be similar: circulating True Energy and igniting it into fire.

Controlling the True Energy equated to controlling the flame; Elder Yan’s realm was so advanced that controlling objects and sword control, along with precise energy control, was second nature.

He could even manage the flame; outwardly it appeared as a mass of fire, yet internally it could be hollow, merely wrapped in flame or partially covered. Such intricate and sophisticated operations demanded extremely high spiritual power and control.

Even now, Lin Tian was unable to achieve this, but Elder Yan could certainly accomplish it.

Under the roasting of the flame, wisps of smoke drifted out; these were volatile impurities. The first step in alchemy was impurity removal and purification, which was crucial.

The purer the refinement, the higher the success rate of fusion later, and the greater the chance of producing supreme elixirs.

Once the smoke had disappeared, Elder Yan controlled the Snow Lotus to gently vibrate, allowing the non-volatile impurities to gradually separate. With a sudden shake, a burst of ash flew out — these were non-volatile impurities.

Such purification method was beyond Lin Tian’s capabilities, as Elder Yan could control objects, making the herbs float and controlling their vibration, whereas Lin Tian needed the Shennong Ding to achieve such complex purification.

From the start, Lin Tian had activated his super vision, imprinting each subtle action of Elder Yan into his mind.

After deep-level refinement, the entire Snow Lotus had transformed into medicinal liquid. Elder Yan summoned with a gesture, pulling a piece of Xuanbing down from the high cliff.

Under the scorching flames, Xuanbing melted and mixed with the Snow Lotus’s original liquid. Elder Yan continued to intensify the flame, evaporating the moisture continuously and making the medicinal liquid become more viscous.

With a slight oscillation of the flames, the medicinal liquid started jumping like beads, slowly forming into the prototype of elixirs. For Elder Yan, the fusion step posed no difficulty, and shortly, the elixirs formed, floating amidst the flames.

Extinguishing the flames, Elder Yan spread out his palm, displaying the elixirs to everyone present. Lin Tian was astonished to see that each elixir displayed flower-petal-like markings!

Elixir markings are the hallmark of supreme elixirs, and Elder Yan’s alchemy this time resulted wholly in supreme elixirs. Such success rate and skill, Lin Tian couldn’t help but feel overshadowed; no wonder Elder Yan was a grandmaster of the Medicine King Mansion.

"These are Snow Lotus Pills; they can assist you in breaking through realms," Elder Yan stated simply.

But this straightforward remark widened the participants’ eyes, for aiding realm breakthroughs was irresistible.

With a wave of his hand, Elder Yan sent the elixirs to everyone present, except three people: Lin Tian, Yan Lingling, and Xiao Manxuan.

Receiving their elixirs, the participants excitedly paid their respects: "Thank you, Elder Yan."

Elder Yan waved them off, saying to Lin Tian, "No elixirs for you, as they’re of no use to you."

Lin Tian, unfazed, respectfully replied, "Elder Yan’s guidance is more valuable than any elixir."

Teaching one to fish is better than giving them fish; understanding the importance of learning over receiving, Lin Tian had a clear grasp, knowing that alchemical techniques were not readily available, while he could make elixirs himself in the future.

"Good, good. You should all head back. Also, the snow lotus on the cliff has suffered greatly, so please do not seek them out again," Elder Yan prepared to leave, offering one final reminder.

Having received the Snow Lotus Pills, the participants naturally agreed wholeheartedly. With a leap, Elder Yan vanished into the distance of Death Valley.

"Miss, let’s go." Lin Tian was eager to return and deeply study the Shennong Ding, then to create elixirs for Xiao Manxuan.

Both Miss and Lin Tian had the same thought; without delay, they embarked on their journey back. Situ Yufeng and Ji Zimo trailed behind, glancing at Lin Tian’s Shennong Ding with changing expressions, yet dared not take any action.

Previously unaware of Lin Tian’s strength, now they knew he could battle masters beyond the Innate level; who dared to act against him? Even the families backing them wouldn’t dare make a move.

As the return journey required no searching, the pace quickened significantly. Despite Ji Zimo’s unwillingness, he could only leave along with the others. The Shennong Ding affair concluded; lingering alone in Death Valley might invite danger, for even the faintest ice silkworms and flying insects could claim their lives.

Swiftly reaching the entrance of Death Valley, Lin Tian glanced at the words engraved on the rock, "Gate of Hell," taking on a different meaning. Sometimes, it was just the face value of the text, rather than an allegory.

Ghost soldiers borrowed the path; the Gate of Hell lay within Death Valley.

Leaving Death Valley, they returned to First-tier Sky. As they entered the crevice, Lin Tian turned, waving to Little Snow, "Little Snow, beyond this gate is the human world; you belong to the sky, and need not follow me."

Little Snow blinked its amber eyes, seemingly understanding Lin Tian’s words, but rather than flying away, it clamped onto Lin Tian’s coat, reluctant to let go, as if fearing abandonment.

Such an action resembled a little girl throwing a tantrum, bearing no trace of an aerial ruler’s demeanor.

On that note, was Little Snow male or female? Lin Tian wondered amusingly; if it followed him to the human realm, where would he find it a mate?

However, seeing Little Snow’s determined demeanor, Lin Tian could only shake his head and smile, "Alright, come along then, or my clothes will be completely ruined."

Both Miss and Xiao Manxuan gave him a glance, amused, for Lin Tian’s attire was already in tatters, reduced to ragged strips.

Lin Tian and his group entered the crevice, traversing through it. Partway, they encountered Feng Lu’s ice and snow, which Lin Tian incinerated in a blaze.

Upon emerging from the mountain’s crevice, the participants exhaled deeply, now heading towards the human world and finally escaping danger.

In these mere two days, they experienced so much; the peril encountered eclipsed that of the past two decades.

Little Snow soared into the sky, Bai raced across the ice field with it, competing intensely. Lin Tian let them be; not beaten means no acquaintance, they would soon become good friends.

Returning to the Medicine King Mansion, darkness had fallen. Each went to their dormitory; with his garb in shreds, Lin Tian needed a change. Yet, as he stepped out, draped in a towel from the shower, Miss and Xiao Manxuan burst in.

Seeing Lin Tian’s appearance, the sisters blushed, the beautifully proportioned and strong muscles and healthy complexion had a significant impact on young women,

Promptly turning aside, Miss spoke nervously, "Quickly dress, Ling’er came by; her Great Grandpa wants you, and bring the Shennong Ding."

"Bring the Shennong Ding?" Lin Tian glanced at the Shennong Ding in the center of the hall, pondering aloud.
