Chapter 488 - 431: Treasure of Daluo!
Qi Yun sat cross-legged in the void, his aura as deep as the ocean. In the silence, the Daluo Heaven behind him began to slowly spread and expand.
It was an indescribably bizarre sight. Within the nothingness, countless Dao Patterns seemed to weave into a web, unfurling in all directions like spider silk. Each Dao Pattern contained an immeasurable, ancient profound intent. Wherever the Daluo Heaven passed, the void trembled and Laws wavered, as if an independent Daoist Heaven and Earth was descending from the void, intending to bring this Heaven and Earth completely under its control.
The expansion was initially slow, like the melting of a glacier in spring. But in just a few breaths, it transformed into a monstrous flood that swept across all directions, blotting out the sky and the sun.
In the next instant, three specks of supreme divine light suddenly illuminated from Qi Yun’s Dantian. At first, they were like the faint glow of fireflies, but in the blink of an eye, they turned into three blazing suns rising from his Dao Foundation!
The first divine light was a purplish-gold; wherever its radiance reached, the Ten Thousand Laws submitted and all paths bowed—this was Mastering All Skills, which controlled the Ten Thousand Laws of Heaven and Earth. The second was dark cyan; as its brilliance flowed, countless profound truths seemed to undergo Reincarnation within it, capable of stripping the profound intent of Heaven and Earth—this was Seizing Profound Intent. The third was a deep, abyssal black; wherever it shone, even time seemed to stagnate, capable of sealing off all rules of Heaven and Earth—this was Forbidden Celestial Rules.
The three Venerable Divine Techniques hovered before Qi Yun. Each emitted a distinct Dao Rhyme, yet they shared an indescribable connection, slowly undergoing Reincarnation in the void like three eternal stars.
Qi Yun raised his eyes slightly, quietly gazing at the three lights. A moment later, he slowly raised his right hand, spread his five fingers, and gently clenched them toward the lights. As if summoned, they transformed into three streams of Flowing Light and completely sank into his palm.
BUZZ!
The void trembled! An intensely rich divine light suddenly erupted from between Qi Yun’s fingers. The radiance was so brilliant that it made his hand almost transparent, clearly revealing the crisscrossing Dao Patterns and the endlessly surging Divine Power within.
Driven by his will, the three Divine Techniques began to merge—intertwining, coiling, devouring, and rebirthing. Blinding light continuously spilled from his fingertips like a newly born sun, threatening to dispel all darkness in the world.
Centered around Qi Yun, the void within a thousand miles began to violently distort. Countless Dao Principle fragments drifted down like snow; every fragment that struck the ground left a bottomless ravine in its wake. In the Celestial Vault, dark clouds roiled like ink. Amidst the lightning and thunder, countless ancient entities seemed to roar in low voices—the Great Dao itself was trembling.
The fluctuations produced by the fusion of the three Divine Techniques actually resonated with the Great Dao of this Heaven and Earth. Countless Dao Patterns emerged from the void, circling Qi Yun like swimming fish, as if in worship and reverence.
Visions filled the void. Illusions of ancient Divine Demons sporadically surfaced—some wielding Magical Artifacts, others chanting True Words, all prostrating themselves toward Qi Yun. At times, countless stars underwent Reincarnation in the void, transforming into a sky-filling meteor shower that converged into his palm.
Deep within the blinding light, the three Divine Techniques were undergoing a fundamental metamorphosis.
As the light in his palm gradually subsided, Qi Yun slowly opened his hand. An impossibly round, tricolor golden vessel, the size of a fist, now rested in his palm. It was forged entirely of an indescribable shade of gold. On its surface, purplish-gold, dark cyan, and abyssal black lights flowed slowly like swimming dragons. They intertwined and merged, forming obscure and unfathomable Dao diagrams.
Qi Yun’s gaze revealed a hint of exhaustion as fine beads of sweat rolled down his forehead. Even so, his eyes showed not a shred of retreat; instead, they burned with a fiercer, more resolute light.
Suddenly, the echoing sounds of ancient Spells rang out between Heaven and Earth. At first, the chanting was as soft as a mosquito’s hum, barely audible. Yet in a matter of breaths, it transformed into rolling thunder that reverberated across the world. Accompanied by the sound of this Spell, a golden light erupted from the ground!
It shot into the sky from Qi Yun’s palm, its momentum as majestic as a raging dragon bursting from the sea, a comet striking the moon, or the morning sun rising in the east. Wherever the golden light passed, all obstacles melted away and all Laws retreated, as if no power in this world could stop its advance.
At the same time, an ancient, majestic, and supremely tyrannical pressure crashed down, suppressing an area of tens of thousands of miles! It felt like an Ancient Divine Mountain descending from the heavens, determined to crush everything in the world to dust. Wherever the pressure reached, mountains collapsed, rivers dried up, the earth fractured, and the void trembled. It was as if doomsday had arrived, as if Heaven and Earth were about to overturn.
Simultaneously, the Great Masters currently breaking the Ten Extremes Array narrowed their eyes. They had been entirely focused on dealing with the terrifying killing intent of the array, but in that instant, an indescribable chill struck their hearts, raising goosebumps on their skin. It felt as if an unspeakable, ancient entity was watching them.
At the source of the soaring golden light, Qi Yun quietly observed the radiant, faintly nine-colored object in his hands. It had now completely taken shape. Its golden exterior shimmered with nine different hues, each representing a Daoist Law. The nine colors intertwined to form an indescribably profound pattern.
A weary Qi Yun let out a long breath. It carried an unconcealable weakness, yet also a sense of relieved ease. The corners of his mouth curled up slightly, his eyes revealing a hint of joy. Though faint, that joy was as bright and dazzling as a star in the dark night. He spoke slowly, his voice hoarse but filled with an indescribable majesty and dominance:
"It’s complete!
"Primordial Daluo, Commanding All Skills!
"The Daluo treasure, the Primordial Golden Dipper!"
As his words fell, the Primordial Golden Dipper suddenly shone brilliantly. Its nine-colored radiance soared into the sky, complementing the golden light that pierced Heaven and Earth, illuminating the entire world until it was bright as day.
Qi Yun flipped his palm, and the Primordial Golden Dipper floated above it. It was no larger than a fist and perfectly round. The three-colored light slowly flowed across its surface, accompanied by countless ancient Dao Patterns flashing faintly. Its opening was small, but it subtly swirled with an absorbing force, as if it could swallow Heaven and Earth whole.
This was exactly the Daluo treasure Qi Yun had manifested by comprehending the essence of the Primordial Daluo, fusing the three Divine Techniques into one, and supplementing them with the Treasure Creation Spell!
Outside the Ten Extremes Array, Celestial Master Chen of the Celestial Secret Sect suddenly changed his expression. The Celestial Secret Compass in his hand trembled wildly. The needle spun out of control, emitting a piercing CRACK. The dense, blood-red patterns covering the Compass fractured inch by inch—a sign of a heavenly backlash.
"Not good!" Before Celestial Master Chen could issue a warning, Qi Yun moved.
He spread his five fingers, releasing the Primordial Golden Dipper. It drew an arc in the air before its opening tilted downward, aiming directly at the three men.
In the next instant, the Golden Dipper expanded drastically. The moment the fist-sized artifact left Qi Yun’s palm, it grew to three feet in radius, then thirty, three hundred, three thousand, thirty thousand...
Its opening became a massive maw intent on devouring Heaven and Earth, blotting out the sun and sky. Looking inside, there was no bottom in sight. There was only an endlessly churning chaos. Purplish-gold, dark cyan, and abyssal black lights wove together to form a sea of light within the dipper, and in its depths, countless Dao Patterns seemed to undergo Reincarnation.
An irresistible suction force erupted from the opening. It felt as if the entire Heaven and Earth tilted in that moment, threatening to pour everything in existence into the Golden Dipper.
Celestial Master Chen was the first to react. He formed hand seals, sending the Celestial Secret Compass flying from his grasp. It evolved into ancient patterns formed by billions of heavenly fates, attempting to resist that direct, terrifying absorbing force.
But it was useless. Celestial Master Chen only had time to let out a brief cry of alarm before he was sucked into the Golden Dipper. His figure shrank and distorted at the opening, ultimately turning into a black speck that disappeared into the depths of the chaotic sea of light.
The Dragon Slayer Sword Master reacted a bit slower, but his counterattack was fiercer. The Dragon-Slaying Sword on his back unsheathed itself with a hum. Nine dragon patterns illuminated simultaneously on the blade, emitting deafening roars. With a single slash, nine golden dragon phantoms charged at the Golden Dipper with jaws wide open, seemingly trying to swallow it whole.
The golden dragons crashed into the Golden Dipper. There was no explosion. There was no booming sound. The moment they touched the opening, the nine golden dragons vanished without a trace, swallowed entirely by the tricolor sea of light like clay oxen entering the ocean.
The Dragon Slayer Sword Master’s expression stiffened as he felt his connection with the Dragon-Slaying Sword instantly severed. The Lifebound Flying Sword that had accompanied him for a thousand years was just... gone.
He wanted to retreat, but it was already too late. The Golden Dipper’s suction force enveloped him.
Feeling his body floating forward uncontrollably, the Dragon Slayer Sword Master mobilized his entire Magical Power. Sword Qi surged around him, attempting to sever the suction. The Sword Qi shot toward the Golden Dipper like an endless rainstorm, only to be distorted, disintegrated, and absorbed the moment it entered the opening’s range.
"What kind of Demon Skill is this?!" the Dragon Slayer Sword Master roared, his voice laced with unconcealable terror.
In his thousand years of Cultivation, he had never seen such a bizarre treasure. It wasn’t an attack, nor was it a defense—it was simply "collection." It stored all existences within it, leaving no room for resistance. His body struggled violently at the mouth of the Golden Dipper, like a flying insect caught in a spider’s web.
But the struggle was futile. With a sweep of the tricolor light, the Dragon Slayer Sword Master’s figure vanished into the chaotic sea of light.
The last was the elder of the Tyrant Sect. He stood motionless—not because he didn’t want to move, but because he couldn’t.
After sweeping away Celestial Master Chen and the Dragon Slayer Sword Master, the Golden Dipper’s suction force had become even more terrifying. The elder felt the space around him freeze, rendering him unable to lift a single finger. His hair whipped wildly behind him, and the muscles on his face were distorted by the pulling force. He tried to say something—perhaps a threat, perhaps a plea for mercy—but his words were torn apart by the suction the moment they left his lips.
The Golden Dipper slowly descended. Its opening drew closer and closer to the elder.
He could clearly see the churning chaotic sea of light inside, the Dao Patterns undergoing Reincarnation, and the struggling figures of Celestial Master Chen and the Dragon Slayer Sword Master. Their forms were shrinking continuously in the sea of light, their Magical Power’s glow dimming at a visible rate.
"Enter," Qi Yun said plainly.
The opening of the Golden Dipper burst with radiant light. The tricolor sea of light cascaded down like a waterfall, sweeping the elder of the Tyrant Sect inside.
Qi Yun flipped his palm. The Golden Dipper began to shrink, landing back in his hand with its opening facing upward, the tricolor light flowing slowly. Inside, the three men had shrunk to the size of rice grains, bobbing up and down in the chaotic sea of light.
Qi Yun glanced down expressionlessly, then waved his large hand, tossing the three of them back out.
Seeing Qi Yun suck the three away only to release them again, the onlooking Great Masters looked astonished. But when their gazes fell upon the three men, their expressions changed drastically, and they subconsciously backed away again and again.
"Their Cultivation... is gone!"
