Chapter 1434 - 867: Old Salary King

Looking at the various intelligence reports concerning Zhang Yu’s salary increase over there, the first thought that crossed Xiao Yunhe’s mind was: Is it fake news?

"Is it intentionally promoting a comprehensive salary increase, making it look easy? In reality, very few Soul Cultivators actually receive a raise."

"After the Soul Cultivators are lured over, they realize that meeting the raised salary requirements Zhang Yu spoke of is as hard as reaching the heavens?"

Although this fake salary increase strategy, which also involves stirring up salary conflicts and promoting raise ideology, greatly disgusted Xiao Yunhe, it was, after all, merely deceiving employees and was still considered a competitive tactic within the rules.

However, soon after, when Xiao Yunhe looked at the newly gathered intelligence, he realized that his judgment was wrong.

"Are all the promotions actually true? Do they really increase salaries based on business volume and Law Realm usage points... And offer profit-sharing?"

On the other side, Xie Lanyin shouted angrily: "What a madman! By maliciously increasing salaries like this, does he want to completely destroy the good business ecology so painstakingly built by countless enterprises in the Old Graveyard over the years?"

Xiao Yunhe also felt that Zhang Yu was crazy, but he simultaneously sensed a strong feeling of something being amiss.

"Is it a strategy from the upper echelons of Wanfa? Have they already started setting it up and passed this round of raises?"

"Or was it an instruction from the Immortal? Something concocted by those Reform Faction members of the Wanfa Sect?"

"Or could it be..."

Various speculations surfaced within him.

Xiao Yunhe said: "What gives him such insane courage? We must find out."

As he spoke, Xiao Yunhe already sent out several threads of will, trying to probe for relevant information on both Wanfa Sect and Sky Demon Sect.

Xie Lanyin said from the side, "Investigation... must indeed be done, but regardless of Zhang Yu’s backing, such malicious salary increments cannot be tolerated!"

Another vice-chairman of the management committee present, Level 6 Sect Affairs Officer Xie Xue, said coldly: "Indeed! These improper salary hikes and market-stimulating tactics are a regression in history! They severely damage everyone’s entrepreneurial enthusiasm and must be sternly countered!"

Xiao Yunhe nodded. In any case, what Zhang Yu did was equivalent to placing a knife at their throats, and they must fight back.

No matter the final outcome, facing the salary increase... if he takes no action, the higher-ups won’t let him off easily.

"What Zhang Yu is doing is no longer a common debate, but an extreme malicious act, challenging the entire order and peace of the Old Graveyard."

"This is no longer just a struggle between us and him, but a battle between the entire Old Graveyard and him. I believe that all enterprises in the Old Graveyard will not support Zhang Yu’s actions."

"As long as I remain this management committee’s chairman, I will never allow anyone to destroy the Old Graveyard in such a way!"

So the next moment, Xiao Yunhe, Xie Lanyin, and others proceeded according to procedures, sending out impeachments against Zhang Yu to the superiors of their respective sects, hoping that the various sects would jointly pressure the Wanfa Sect to quickly launch a suspension and investigation against Zhang Yu.

Simultaneously, Xiao Yunhe knew that without a swift response to the salary increase coming from Zhang Yu’s side, large numbers of Soul Cultivators would inevitably flock under Zhang Yu’s banner.

"They must make the Soul Cultivators feel that Zhang Yu’s fire won’t burn for long..."

Xiao Yunhe knew that it was impossible for the Ancient Alliance to compete financially or even think of a pay raise. The only option was to continue intimidating the Soul Cultivators, making them feel Zhang Yu’s side was unreliable, and frightening them about the costs of switching sides to reduce the attrition of Soul Cultivators.

Thus, Xiao Yunhe, together with Xie Lanyin and the various enterprises’ representatives in the Old Graveyard, issued condemnations against Zhang Yu’s faction.

"Recently, there has been a malevolent salary increase behavior represented by Zhang Yu within the industry, elevating wage standards through irrational and non-market means! Such actions maliciously disrupt the normal dead flow order within the industry, damage the competitive market environment, and severely negatively impact the healthy industry ecosystem!"

Xie Lanyin: "On behalf of the White Bone Sect, I strongly condemn Zhang Yu for such malicious wage increases! Malicious salary increases violate market salary rules, exacerbate industry vicious competition, not only inflate unreasonable labor costs but also trigger a series of issues such as disorderly poaching and salary bubbles, harming the long-term interests of all market participants and practitioners."

Xiao Yunhe: "In this matter, after discussion among the development zone management committee, and cooperating enterprises participating in the joint statement, it has been decided to sternly hold accountable those responsible for illegal and non-compliant actions according to company regulations."

"No one who attempts to stir up salary conflicts, advocate for extreme salary increase ideology, advocate for salary hegemony, oppose the Immortal Path! Oppose Kunxu! Oppose the sect! No violations will be overlooked! Strict punishments for all!"

Amid the condemnations issued by one sect leader and company representative after another in the Old Graveyard, countless Cultivators and even Soul Cultivators felt a terrifying pressure sweep towards Zhang Yu’s faction.

It was as if all wealthy and powerful figures in the Old Graveyard were besieging Zhang Yu together.

This terrifying pressure made many Soul Cultivators tremble just by witnessing it, unable to imagine what kind of situation Zhang Yu, who was facing this pressure head-on, might be in.

"The White Bone Sect, Netherworld Palace... and several other sects have all issued condemnations."

"Companies across the entire Old Graveyard are opposing, refusing to provide any services to Zhang Yu’s side."

"As expected... such reckless salary increases ultimately don’t work, do they? He won’t be able to maintain it for long, and Zhang Yu... may have to reverse it soon."

Meanwhile, as Xiao Yunhe issued condemnations, several Soul Cultivators were already brought to the live broadcast site to be formally executed today.

Only to see Xiao Yunhe, with a single gesture, display the related violations above the heads of the Soul Cultivators one by one.
