Chapter 538: Chapter 537: A Terrible Reputation

Bai Lin was the one who made a move.

This was only because Qin Feng had retracted some of his Black Water Power. Otherwise, Bai Lin alone might not have been able to shatter the Black Water Vortex.

One had to understand that Qin Feng’s current True Power was of Extreme Realm Third Level Quality.

The might of this level of Black Water True Power was far beyond what the original Yu Hua could ever hope to match.

Bai Lin appeared in the center. She glanced at the four of them, her gaze finally landing on Qin Feng, a hint of surprise in her beautiful eyes.

’To have comprehended the Twenty-seven Layers of Black Water Righteous Method at such a young age... his talent is truly astonishing.’

’It seems this young man from the Black Water Snake Race must have had some sort of fortuitous encounter.’

’After this banquet, I should send people to investigate this Yu Hua. If I can find out what kind of fortuitous encounter or treasures he possesses, it might help me advance my own strength!’

As she schemed internally, Bai Lin’s gaze swept over the crowd. She waved her hand and said,

"Alright, everyone. You are all esteemed guests of my Sea Demon Clan. This was just a small misunderstanding. Please, proceed into Fuhai Palace. The grand banquet is about to begin!"

Long Xianle’s face was ashen, and he remained silent. Having suffered a major loss, he was now wary of Yu Hua down to his very bones.

Long Xiankong also didn’t want any further trouble, so the four of them immediately took the lead and entered the Divine Sand Passage.

However, the two Mermaid girls had other thoughts. Before leading the way, one of them glanced at Qin Feng, her eyes shimmering with a captivating and seductive charm.

Had this been the real Yu Hua, he would have been overjoyed, his heart blooming with delight.

Qin Feng, however, paid them no mind, causing the two Mermaid girls to wonder if their charms were fading.

After the four from the Soaring Snake Division entered the Divine Sand Passage, Qin Feng entered as well, holding his invitation.

A path made entirely of azure Kui Shui Water Sediment appeared beneath the island under Bai Lin’s Seal Technique.

His figure flickered as he stepped onto it. A faint blue halo emanated from the exquisite invitation, its light reflecting all around. The vast expanse of Kui Shui Water Sediment surged, forming a grand path. He followed it.

A moment later, countless faint blue whirlpools appeared before his eyes.

This was the Ten Extremes Floating Wave Spirit Spin Array. The experts of the Sea Demon Clan had deactivated part of the Grand Array’s power, so the densely packed God-Carving Sabers were not visible within the whirlpools.

He stepped inside and was ferried along by the light of the water.

After a short while, magnificent, multicolored palaces of breathtaking beauty appeared before his eyes.

Golden courts and jade pillars, jasper halls and gem-studded steps.

Trees of fire and flowers of silver, palaces of pearl and courts of shell.

The exit of the passage led to the center of Fuhai Palace’s forecourt. Stepping out, one was greeted by a White Jade Square dozens of zhang wide.

"Young Master Yu of the Black Water Division has arrived!"

The moment he appeared, a gruff voice boomed by his ear, echoing deep into Fuhai Palace.

Qin Feng took a closer look. Ranks of shrimp soldiers and crab generals stood arrayed around him, clad in Battle Armor and holding jade plates and golden sashes, looking majestic. Beside them stood several stunning Sea Demon Maidens with enchanting and seductive figures.

Each of these Sea Demons was a peerless beauty, with supple waists and eyes like misty waves that cast seductive glances. Just a few looks were enough to make one’s heart melt.

What was most heart-stopping was that these gorgeous Sea Demons wore nothing but graceful gauze robes. Their exquisite bodies were faintly visible beneath the sheer fabric. Most notably, their ample, snow-white chests were covered only by two simple shells. A single glance was truly enough to steal a man’s soul.

The original Yu Hua was a lecherous man, so Qin Feng’s eyes roved, and he immediately put on a leering expression.

The Sea Race did not prohibit amorous pursuits; in fact, many among them had far greater appetites in this regard than ordinary people.

Qin Feng glanced around. ’The Sea Demon Clan is really thoughtful.’

He was tempted to flirt with one of them, but on second thought, Qin Feng figured there must be even better "goods" inside Fuhai Palace.

’I can’t throw away the big prize for a small gain.’

When the group of Sea Demons saw an esteemed guest arrive, their faces initially lit up with joy. But upon seeing it was Yu Hua, the dozen or so Sea Demon Maidens’ expressions immediately turned to disinterest.

They obviously knew his identity and weren’t keen on dealing with the so-called genius from the declining Black Water Division.

After exchanging glances and nudging each other, they finally pushed out a delicate, younger Sea Demon with pretty features.

Qin Feng took in the scene and rubbed his nose. ’To think I’d get snubbed by a group of Sea Demons.’

’What a failure.’

"Young Master Yu, this servant will lead the way for you!" the delicate and pure-looking Sea Demon Maiden said, wrinkling her dainty nose. She swayed her willowy waist as she led him forward.

From her reluctant look, it seemed she didn’t want to speak a single word more to Qin Feng than was necessary.

’Why am I so unpopular?’ Qin Feng grumbled inwardly. He quickly searched through Yu Hua’s memories in his mind and soon understood the reason.

His expression turned strange.

It turned out that Yu Hua’s reputation was already rotten. Although he had some talent, he was lecherous to a fault, and his debauchery was infamous.

In Yu Hua’s memories, he had not only abducted Human Race maidens for orgies on more than one occasion, but he also frequently fooled around with promiscuous Sea Maidens.

There were also several less-than-glorious memories of him secretly using vile methods to take advantage of women from other Sea Races.

In short, his reputation was in tatters.

In truth, Qin Feng didn’t know that the Sea Demon Clan had another purpose for holding the Cyan Forest Banquet at this time: to find partners for the young women of their clan.

This was a very famous inheritance ritual of the Sea Demon Clan.

The Sea Demon Clan’s inheritance was very special. No matter which race they coupled with, as long as the offspring was female, she would possess pure Sea Demon blood.

Furthermore, the Sea Demon Clan possessed a unique ability to optimize and purify the bloodlines of both parents, passing the result on to their descendants.

In other words, the stronger the father, the more outstanding the talent of the resulting child.

If these attendant Sea Demons had a night of passion with a genius from another race and could bear a child, their offspring would surely be exceptionally talented.

The Sea Demon Maidens had been pushing each other away simply because they looked down on a lecher like Yu Hua.

Qin Feng didn’t understand the full story.

The White Jade Square was merely the reception area. Along the way, Qin Feng saw many members of the Sea Race, each exuding a profound and unique aura.

They too were being guided by maidens, but their treatment was completely different from Qin Feng’s. He saw some of the Sea Race members already sliding their hands into the short skirts of the girls beside them. Some had even gone straight into the rooms on the side.

He looked at how the others were being treated, then at his own situation. The Sea Demon Maiden beside him had a stern expression, as if to say, ’If you dare try anything with me, I’ll fight you to the death.’

Qin Feng’s face fell.

He decided to just focus his peripheral vision on the scenery of Fuhai Palace.

Fuhai Palace was truly grand and majestic.

A massive barrier filtered out impurities from Cloud Lake. Pure lake water flowed beneath the barrier that formed the sky. Rare members of the Aquatic Race swam about, shimmering with myriad colors. Seaweed danced, and Spiritual Shells spat out pearls.

Stalks of fiery red coral, overflowing with Spiritual Qi, glowed with a sun-like color of indescribable magnificence.

Spirit Turtles roamed freely, and Sea Demon Maidens played carefree.

Before long, they were approaching the main hall in the center of Fuhai Palace. After bringing Qin Feng to this spot, the guiding Sea Demon Maiden let out a sigh of relief, as if she had just escaped the clutches of a Demon King. She left without a backward glance, leaving Qin Feng stranded before the grand hall.
