"Ivy, is this for real?" Julian Grant was still in disbelief.

Ivy Sherwood nodded. "Yes."

"I thought I’d be the first one to become a dad, but Quentin actually beat me to it!" Julian Grant was not having it.

But what could he do? Unless a woman showed up out of the blue, pregnant with his child, there was no way he could catch up to Quentin.

He had lost!

He couldn’t beat Quentin in business, and now he couldn’t even beat him at this.

Ethan Forrest said, "I thought I’d get married and have kids before the boss, too. But wait, why are you calling her Ivy?"

Julian Grant said, "Do you have the memory of a goldfish? You don’t even recognize Ivy Sherwood?"

Ethan Forrest’s eyes widened in shock. "She’s Ivy Sherwood?"

Julian Grant nodded. "Who else? How could Quentin possibly let another woman carry his child or wear his Buddha Beads? And when have you ever seen him so wrapped around someone’s finger? It’s all because he spoils her rotten."

Ethan Forrest couldn’t believe the woman in front of him was actually Ivy Sherwood. But looking closely, he had to admit she did look like her, with the same lively eyes.

Ethan Forrest covered his mouth. "Sis... Sister-in-law..."

Ivy Sherwood smiled and blinked. "Sorry to disappoint you, but I really am Ivy Sherwood."

Ethan Forrest truly couldn’t believe it. Ivy Sherwood was so beautiful he found her almost unrecognizable.

"You... He..." Ethan Forrest was tongue-tied.

Quentin Blackwood said, "Alright, sit down. She is Ivy Sherwood. My girlfriend for now, my wife in the future."

"Why do I get the feeling you’re just showing off?" Graham Sherwood retorted.

Quentin Blackwood openly took Ivy Sherwood’s hand, brought it to his lips, and kissed it. "What’s wrong with showing off a little?"

The others: "...Disgusting!"

The corner of Quentin Blackwood’s mouth curled up. His smile was deep as he looked at Ivy Sherwood, his eyes filled with love.

"So, does this mean wedding bells are in your future? Should I be getting my wedding gift ready?" Julian Grant asked.

’Quentin sure moves fast. They must be getting married soon.’

Quentin Blackwood said, "She hasn’t agreed to marry me yet."

"Huh?"

’It’s hard to believe anyone would turn Quentin down.’

If word got out that President Blackwood’s proposal was rejected, it would probably become the joke of the century.

"I agree, you shouldn’t say yes to him so quickly," Julian Grant said. "Ivy, this guy is way too arrogant. You have to put him through the wringer for us. Otherwise, whenever we see him, we just feel like life’s unfair for giving him such a handsome face and such a brilliant mind."

Ethan Forrest also chimed in, "I agree. The boss managed to find such a beautiful wife. If he gets everything good in this world, what’s left for the rest of us? You have to give him a hard time!"

Ivy Sherwood didn’t know whether to laugh or cry. ’These guys are supposed to be Quentin’s best friends, but every one of them is so savage.’

Quentin Blackwood said coolly, "Have you all decided you don’t want to do business anymore?"

Julian Grant chuckled. "If President Blackwood would be willing to invest a little in my company, and maybe help me sign the Best Actor, then I’ll definitely help persuade Ivy to marry you every single day."

Landon Jacobs, on the other hand, had a rather cold personality. He spoke little, which gave him an air of distance, but in reality, he was a very good person.

"I currently have no plans to sign with an agency, but..."

"But what?" Julian Grant asked.

"But your company should probably strengthen its safety protocols for its artists. If they can get injured so casually while filming, does that mean their lives could be at risk in the future?"

Julian Grant was taken aback. ’I didn’t expect the Best Actor to be paying such close attention to my company.’

’But why would Landon Jacobs say that? Did an artist from my company get injured?’

As the boss, Julian Grant wasn’t always clear on the day-to-day happenings down the line.

But since Landon Jacobs had brought it up, Julian Grant would definitely have to strengthen security.

"You’re right, Best Actor. There may be areas where my company’s management has been lacking. I hope you will continue to keep an eye on us in the future."

Julian Grant handed him a glass of wine, and Landon Jacobs took it. "You can just call me Landon Jacobs."

After finishing his drink, Landon Jacobs’s gaze shifted to Ivy Sherwood. "Miss Sherwood, there’s something I’d like to ask for your help with."

"Go ahead," Ivy Sherwood said, surprised that Landon Jacobs would have a favor to ask of her.

"Milo Jacobs is still your brand ambassador, correct?"

Ivy Sherwood nodded. Milo Jacobs had been the brand ambassador for Iris ever since the company was founded, and it had never changed.

Ivy Sherwood had personally selected him from Julian Grant’s company. She had even seen Milo last time she was in Aethelgard.

Landon Jacobs pulled a piece of paper from his bag, quickly scribbled something on it, and handed it to Ivy Sherwood. "If you have time, could you go and see him?"

Ivy Sherwood took it. "That’s no problem, but why don’t you go yourself? You two are..."

Landon Jacobs knew what Ivy Sherwood wanted to ask. He said bluntly, "He’s my half-brother."

His parents divorced early. Landon Jacobs had been cold and distant since childhood. Later, his father brought home a woman and told him to call her ’Mom’, but he refused.

Along with that woman came a son who, from the moment they met, called him ’Big Brother’ with a smile that crinkled his eyes.

He was like a little sun, smiling at everyone he met. But that kind of sunshine was something the cold Landon Jacobs found displeasing.

He had tried to chase Milo Jacobs away countless times, but Milo would always stick close and call him ’Big Brother’. He’d even say, "Brother, your grades are so good, can you teach me how to solve this problem?" In reality, Milo already knew how to solve those problems. He had always been an excellent student; it was just an excuse to get close to him, pretending not to understand and asking him over and over.

Later, after starting high school, he rarely went home. He went straight into the entertainment industry after graduation. His very first role made him a household name. Landon Jacobs gained countless fans and had even less contact with his family.

But Milo Jacobs insisted on messaging him every day. ’That idiot. It’s so annoying just looking at the messages.’

Even though Landon Jacobs never replied, Milo Jacobs never tired of it.

Landon Jacobs had even deleted his contact information, so Milo started leaving him messages on Weibo, and he’s kept it up to this day, as regular as clockwork.

Sometimes, if he was too busy, he would make up for it the next day.

Milo Jacobs chose to enter the entertainment industry for two reasons. First, he wanted to follow in his brother’s footsteps. Second, he wanted to show Landon Jacobs that he wasn’t after the Jacobs Family’s fortune.

Even though Landon Jacobs was unkind to him, he still liked to call him ’brother’—but only ever in private. In public, Milo Jacobs never mentioned Landon Jacobs, let alone used his fame to create opportunities for himself.

Ivy Sherwood had a feeling there was some connection between the two, but she never expected them to be brothers.

Ivy Sherwood said, "Then why don’t you go yourself? He would be thrilled to see you."

Landon Jacobs said, "No. My relationship with him isn’t that good."

"Also, please don’t tell him I was the one who asked you to go."

Ivy Sherwood: "..."

’Why be so sneaky about caring for someone?’
