World Evolution: Starting With The Wind Monarch
Chapter 123: Elemental Spirits (Part 1)
"Mom, is there something special about this Entrance Authority Token? Why can’t you remove its permission even with the Supreme Entrance Authority Token?"
Eleanor shook her head at Alice’s question.
"There is nothing special or different about this token from the other normal tokens. At least, I can’t find anything different about it," She said. "I can still remove access from other people’s tokens that have permission to come to Elvador, but this token... I can’t do anything about it."
Evan’s mouth twitched slightly when he heard Eleanor’s words, and he couldn’t help but feel nervous, afraid that she wouldn’t return his token because of its abnormality.
But his worries were unnecessary, as Eleanor’s following words put him at ease.
"But it’s not a big problem. Although I can’t remove the access from this token, I can still set the location where you will appear after using the token..." She looked at Evan and smiled slightly. "From now on, if you come to Elvador using your token, you will not appear in the wilderness but here. This way, it will be easy for us to monitor you."
Just like Planet Zarth and Planet Elvador, there were many planets in the world, and on each planet, there could be ten people who could obtain Entrance Authority Tokens.
There were many people in the Light Alliance who held the Entrance Authority Token of their planet and had permission to come to Elvador using them.
All of these people appeared in the Access Room that was specially created for this purpose.
From now on, if Evan came to Elvador using his Entrance Authority Token, he would also appear in this Access Room and would be noticed immediately.
That way, Eleanor didn’t have to worry about him sneakily coming to Planet Elvador and doing something.
Evan also understood Eleanor’s intention and was glad that she didn’t take away his token and had only changed his teleportation location.
"You don’t have any problem with my solution, right?" Eleanor asked Evan after telling them what she wanted to do.
Evan immediately shook his head at her question.
Eleanor nodded in satisfaction upon seeing that he wasn’t dissatisfied. After changing his teleportation location, she handed him back his token.
"Since you can’t go back before the cooldown time of your Entrance Authority Token ends, you can live here in Elvador. I will tell someone to arrange a room for you."
"Thanks for your help."
Evan bowed slightly, and Eleanor couldn’t help but smile when she saw the zombie-like expression on his face finally disappear.
’Thank God everything went smoothly. I was afraid I would have to go through some tough investigation, but nothing like that happened...’ Evan thought as he put away his token in his Storage Ring.
"So, how was your task?" Eleanor asked Alice and the others after she was done with Evan.
"You didn’t look at the recording in the crystal?" Alice raised an eyebrow upon hearing Eleanor.
Eleanor paused when she heard Alice’s words and only then remembered that she had stopped watching it midway to deal with Evan’s situation.
Picking up the crystal Alice had given her earlier, she once again looked at its recording.
When she saw the part where Alice and the others reached the base but it was already covered by a barrier, her eyes narrowed slightly.
Especially after hearing those people from the Chaos Alliance saying they had already received news that they were coming for them.
But as she watched further and saw Evan using Wings of Wind, her eyes couldn’t help but widen.
’Wings of Wind?!’ She cried out inwardly. ’This doesn’t make sense. Only after reaching one hundred percent affinity with the Wind Element can one get Wings of Wind. It took me over fifty years to increase my affinity with the Wind Element to 100%, and this guy, who isn’t even sixteen years old, already has one hundred percent affinity with Wind?’
For a moment, Eleanor felt her mind go blank and didn’t know what to say.
Taking a deep breath, she suppressed the shock in her heart and continued watching the recording.
Seeing Evan destroy the barrier with just one bolt, her mouth couldn’t help but twitch.
What made her even more speechless was that Evan looked perfectly fine after using that powerful attack, as if it hadn’t consumed much of his Mana.
’Is this guy really a Level 37 Evolver?’ She couldn’t help but think as she watched the unranked members of the Chaos Alliance explode into blood mist.
Seeing him calmly land after the attack and say that he had accidentally gone a little overboard, she shook her head with a chuckle.
’What a monster!’
Suddenly, she noticed another thing and raised an eyebrow.
’His Wings of Wind... Why do I feel like they are different from what I got when my affinity reached one hundred percent?’ She thought, but because it was just a recording, she couldn’t figure out what was actually different.
She turned her head toward Evan and asked him.
"The skill you used to fly was Wings of Wind, right?"
A look of surprise appeared on Evan’s face, as he didn’t expect Eleanor to recognize his passive skill.
"You are right, Your Majesty. It’s indeed Wings of Wind."
Eleanor wasn’t surprised when Evan confirmed her guess.
"Can you show me your wings?"
As she spoke, two green wings that were slightly different and resembled the wings of the Wing Elves Evan had seen earlier appeared on Eleanor’s back.
"My affinity with Wind is also 100%, just like yours, and I also received the Wings of Wind skill at that time. But I feel like your skill is a bit different from mine."
Evan was taken aback when he heard Eleanor, and seeing her use Wings of Wind as well, his eyes widened slightly.
He could feel the Wind Element from the surroundings slowly flowing toward Eleanor’s wings.
But soon, he noticed that it was different from his wings. Other than the Wind Element, his wings also absorbed Mana from the surroundings to sustain themselves instead of using his own Mana.
But Eleanor’s wings seemed to be a bit different.
"Wait a minute..." Alice suddenly interrupted their conversation and looked at both of them in shock. "What do you mean by his affinity with the Wind Element is also one hundred percent?"
