"Damn! I’m totally lost."

In a long hallway with no other option but to keep going straight or turn back, Leo scratched his head in frustration.

He’d been stuck here for two days and still couldn’t find a way out. It felt as if he were trapped inside an illusion.

"What am I supposed to do?" he muttered irritably.

The third mission would end in eight days, but he hadn’t hunted many monsters yet.

Fortunately, Reyna seemed to have secured plenty of prey, so their group was still ranked among the top twenty.

Taking a deep breath, Leo calmed himself down and continued walking.

Time passed. He had no idea how long he’d been walking.

An hour? Two hours? Maybe even longer?

His head was starting to ache, but he had no choice except to keep moving forward.

Suddenly, he spotted a bright light in the distance.

"Light!? Could that be the way out!?" he exclaimed excitedly.

Without thinking twice, he ran toward it. When he finally reached the light, he found himself standing in front of a huge hall.

It was far larger than any hall he had ever seen before.

"What on earth is this? Am I in another dimension?"

He rubbed his eyes, as if he couldn’t believe what he was seeing.

Giant pillars stretched high toward the cloud-filled ceiling.

A long, massive bridge stretched from where he stood to the far end of the hall. Beyond it was an empty area with a table sitting in the center.

Curious, he walked across the bridge. Every now and then, he glanced to the right and left, where deep chasms stretched below, with clouds floating around them.

Leo had no idea what was down there. But one thing was certain—if he jumped, he’d be dead.

Eventually, he reached the other side of the hall. He cautiously walked toward the table and was surprised to find a blue, rhombus-shaped crystal floating above it.

"What kind of crystal is this?"

"Take it... It’ll be very useful to you..."

A voice suddenly came from beside him.

Startled, Leo quickly looked around and went on high alert.

"Who’s there!?"

No one answered. Aside from him, the hall was completely silent.

Leo furrowed his brow. Something told him he should listen to the voice.

Without hesitation, he picked up the crystal.

At that very moment, the hall suddenly shook violently. The floor beneath him started trembling.

"Danger!"

Leo’s eyes widened in horror.

He turned around and ran back across the bridge.

The bridge shook beneath his feet, and when he glanced over his shoulder, he saw it starting to collapse.

"Damn it!"

Leo picked up the pace and finally made it across.

Boom!

The hall collapsed behind him as Leo leaped forward, barely making it out in time.

But the force of the explosion sent him flying, and he slammed hard into the hallway wall.

"Argh..." he groaned in pain, clutching his stomach.

"Damn... I’m really, really unlucky!"

Not only was he lost, but he’d also nearly died.

Leo slowly got to his feet, still clutching his aching stomach.

He reached into his pocket and pulled out the red, rhombus-shaped crystal.

He couldn’t actually touch it. Instead, the crystal hovered just above the palm of his hand.

"What kind of crystal is this, anyway?" he muttered, confused.

No matter how hard he thought about it, he couldn’t figure out what it was.

In the end, he gave up trying to figure it out, slipped the crystal back into his pocket, and walked away.

Reyna greedily kissed Raven’s lips, wrapping both arms around his neck.

Raven returned her kiss, making Reyna even more excited.

Raven stuck his tongue in her mouth. Reyna wanted to do the same, but she couldn’t.
