The clan leader of the Black Stone Tribe said in a deep voice, "To be able to infiltrate the core of the mining area right under our noses, without our detection, and empty the entire rich ore vein in a short time, then flee at high speed underground so even Byron couldn’t catch up.

Such methods are not a combat style we are familiar with from any tribe." He paused, his gaze sweeping over the other four present, "But there is one place, indeed, where people can achieve this. The Wizard Plane, their Path of Divine Revelation trial has already begun."

As the highest leaders of their respective tribes, these clan leaders were naturally aware of matters concerning the Wizard Plane and knew that a trial called the Path of Divine Revelation was occurring recently. There were also several agreements between the two sides.

Among them was the restriction on the wizards, preventing them from slaughtering natives of this plane en masse.

This also included restrictions on these Level 4 powerhouses; they were allowed to act freely within their tribal territories but were not permitted to pursue these wizards to the ends of the earth.

That is to say, these Level 4 powerhouses could act freely to defend their territory and people, and even kill these wizards, without intervention from the Wizard Plane.

However, they could not pursue indefinitely, and once beyond their territory, they had to watch the wizards leave.

After all, the Wizard Plane is here to cultivate potential seedlings, not to send them to their deaths.

Should a Level 4 powerhouse be determined to hunt these Level 3 mages, even a Demigod Level being could not manage to escape forever, so such a restriction serves as a form of protection.

Duke shrank further into the shadow of the rock pillar, the breath of the World Tree clinging like a second skin to his body surface.

He did not rush to act but wanted to see what kind of consensus these tribal leaders could reach in their joint prevention against wizards.

On the rubble beach, Byron first broke the silence.

He released his arms crossing his chest, his thick fingers tapping unconsciously on the totem pole beside him, making a dull metallic echo: "Since it wasn’t one of our own who acted, there’s nothing to dispute. People from the Wizard Plane are stealing from our ore vein and killing our people. Regardless of usual conflicts, in this matter, I think individual grudges can be temporarily set aside."

The clan leader of the Black Stone Tribe glanced at him, the bloodstain on his left arm’s bandage not yet dry, but the elder’s voice remained steady: "You mean to say, a temporary ceasefire?"

"Not just a ceasefire." Byron shook his head, "It’s about joining forces. There is more than one wizard trialist; today it’s my Stone Hammer Tribe’s ore vein, tomorrow it could be you, the Black Stone Tribe, and the day after, it could be his tribe. It seems they have a means to completely hide their presence, such that even I couldn’t detect them on the mining area’s surface, only judging they’ve been there from the collapse noise. This kind of stealthy approach can’t be defended against by the power of one tribe alone."

The Level 4 powerhouse with the hammers at his waist raised his eyes, his voice coarse and indifferent: "I have enmity with both of your tribes, but regarding the wizards, I also agree to join forces."

The tall, thin man carrying the giant longbow nodded slightly: "My tribe hasn’t found any ore veins stolen yet, but several patrolling sentries on the outskirts have been knocked unconscious, the method unlike any known tribe’s warriors. If these wizards have already infiltrated the edge of everyone’s territory, a joint defense is indeed more effective than fighting alone."

The cloaked figure in gray spoke last, his voice still calm, but his words carried the most weight: "We can join forces, but there must be a regulation. Territories must not encroach upon each other, this is the bottom line. But intelligence can be shared, and any sighting of a wizard trialist must be immediately reported through joint patrol to the others. If a wizard escapes onto another’s territory, the pursuit rights automatically transfer to the owner of that territory. Additionally, we should double the guards in the core areas of each Wise Stone Ore Vein within our territories. Increase patrol frequency from daily to three times a day, and each patrol team must be led by at least one warrior Level 3 and above."

The clan leader of the Black Stone Tribe pondered for a moment and then slowly nodded: "The defense structures of the mining area also need reinforcement. I will have the Array Masters of my tribe set up trigger alert runes at the entrance and main shafts that can detect unauthorized spiritual power fluctuations. These runes may not be common in the Elderlands, but spiritual power fluctuations are something wizards find the hardest to completely conceal. Additionally, shared intelligence is acceptable, but I have an addendum: any tribe that captures a wizard must also share any intelligence they obtain. We need to know how many there are, their distribution, and whether they possess other more dangerous methods."

Byron extended his hand first, placing his broad palm atop the totem pole beside him: "The Stone Hammer Tribe agrees. From today until the last wizard trialist leaves this mining area, a temporary ceasefire between the territories is in place. Borders remain, intelligence is shared, and mining areas are jointly defended. Anyone who violates this agreement will be jointly attacked by the remaining four tribes."

The clan leader of the Black Stone Tribe was the second to place his hand, followed by the double-hammer warrior, the tall archer, and finally the silent man in the gray cloak.

The five hands reached a temporary alliance over the edge of the ruins of the collapsed Wise Stone Ore Vein, temporarily setting aside generational hatred in the face of a common enemy.
