Chapter 460: Chapter 344: Isaac: Mad Witch Crash Course! Limited Spots, First Come, First Served

Although Isaac had added many preconditions, in Agares’s view, it all amounted to the same thing—blasphemy against Deities!

This sort of thing was incredibly dangerous for most Wizards, regardless of whether the target was an Outer God or a True God.

Therefore, not only did Agares refuse Isaac’s request, but he was also already considering whether to quit the Mad Heart Wizard Organization. After all, this was simply too insane!

’He had absolutely no interest in becoming a Mad Witch!’

Meanwhile, Isaac sensed Agares’s strong resistance. He sighed inwardly, somewhat disappointed but still understanding. In the Extraordinary World, Deities held a rather special status, both due to their historical standing and their role as allies of the Wizarding World.

Fortunately, Isaac had more or less anticipated this. Before Agares could speak, Liu Li placed another document in front of him.

"Then let’s go with this instead. I’ll figure something else out for the research on Faith Wizards and Divine Spirit Knights. You, like Selena, can just focus your energy on ’bloodlines.’"

Hearing this, Agares looked at the document skeptically. He flipped through several pages and found that the titles were all for relatively conventional research related to Demon Blood. Only then did his anxious heart finally settle.

Although researching Demon Blood was also rather dangerous, and considered a minor taboo within the Demon Domination Faction, with the "brilliant" example set by Isaac the Mad Witch, Agares couldn’t be bothered with such a trivial matter.

Once he had calmed down, he began to seriously read through the stack of documents. As he delved deeper, like Selena beside him, the more he read, the more shocked he became!

Because even from these rough outlines, he could see the incredible depth of Isaac’s accumulated Knowledge!

Within these pages, he saw an opportunity to advance further!

Compared to Selena’s predicament, Agares’s situation was undoubtedly a little better. Not only was his combat prowess outstanding, but the inheritance he possessed was also relatively complete, though he still lacked the full inheritance needed to advance to Tier Four.

But because his inheritance for Tiers One through Three was quite complete, if he just knew what a Tier Four Miracle Mage’s state of being was like, he could spend some time researching and might just be able to figure out a method to advance.

Of course, even if he could figure it out, it would require a tremendous amount of effort. It was highly likely he would make a mistake along the way, and the path of a Demon Dominator was notoriously unforgiving. Therefore, his future was actually quite perilous.

But now, in the research plan Isaac had given him, he saw renewed hope for advancement!

This advancement wasn’t about obtaining a more complete inheritance, but something else, something more tangible. It was called—ability!

Just like that, Agares tossed aside the thought of leaving that had just surfaced. ’Leave? Like hell I will!’

’Where else could I find a boss this generous and capable?’

Seeing that Agares had settled down, Isaac nodded in satisfaction. He then looked toward Demon Eye Soron. Soron said nothing, merely giving a silent nod. Since the others didn’t dare to do it, this part of the project would naturally fall to him.

After all, Soron had almost no reverence for Deities. If Isaac told him to research them, he would research them.

With that, the research plan for the Great Creation—the Path of the Extraordinary—was essentially in place. For the time being, there was nothing more for Isaac to do. Only after the others completed their foundational research and accumulated sufficient data and techniques would it be his turn to begin his work.

For now, the only help he could offer the project was to lure a few more Mad Witches into joining Soron’s research team.

After all, two of the three Paths of the Extraordinary were related to Deities. Soron couldn’t possibly handle all that research by himself. Across the entire world, very few Wizards—including other Mad Witches—dared to so brazenly research Divine Power.

Isaac knew this from personal experience. He was well aware of what the Mad Witches from the Mad Witch Association were like—they were a bunch of cowards. They would never have the guts to do something like this.

Therefore, he was inclined to cultivate a new batch of Mad Witches himself!

Or perhaps, this was his true goal all along!

A Mad Witch: a gambler who deals with Outer Gods, turning their very being into chips to place on an Outer God’s betting table, all to win a slim chance at a breakthrough. Success meant receiving a gift from the Outer God and possessing power or Knowledge far beyond their current stage. Failure meant losing everything.

This was Isaac’s previous understanding of what a Mad Witch was. But now, there was an addition to that definition: a "trait"!

Based on the information he had gathered so far, this "trait" seemed to be the key factor that allowed Mad Witches to win gifts from the Outer Gods time and time again. Furthermore, it appeared this power could also be used in actual combat.

So, the question was: was this trait innate, or was it acquired through repeated dealings with the Outer Gods?

Or was it both?

Perhaps everyone possessed this trait, but only Mad Witches could awaken this power through their repeated transactions.

’If that’s the case, how is this power awakened? And what is my own trait?’

Isaac was very curious.

He had wanted to research this for a long time.

But it hadn’t been possible before. Besides himself, the other Mad Witches were all a bit unhinged. Take the former Princess Philo, for example; sometimes she acted completely brainless. Thus, even if he had wanted to, he couldn’t find a Mad Witch he could actually study.
