Chapter 546 - 375: Return: Advent of the Morning Star

The air was heavy in the secret chamber on the top floor of the Jiangzhou Management Bureau.

Ian sat cross-legged in the center of the Witch Array, nodding lightly at Wei Song, who stood before him.

"I’ll leave things here on Profound Yellow Star in your hands."

"Don’t worry," Wei Song said, looking relaxed. "With me here, and with the World Will looking out for us, nothing can go wrong. What happens on your end is the real key to all this."

Ian said no more, slowly closing his eyes.

His consciousness didn’t sink into his Sea of Spirit. Instead, it broke free from some kind of restraint and abruptly soared upward.

He saw the secret chamber he was in, he saw Jiangzhou City, and he saw the entire azure Profound Yellow Star slowly rotating in the Void, surrounded by a multicolored network of Rules.

A web woven of Gravity, a surging river of Thermal Energy, a flowing ribbon of Purification, and at the very core, an immense Will.

It was far more powerful and vibrant than before, radiating a boundless aura that vastly surpassed Ian’s own.

"I need to return to the Wizard World." Through the ripples of his consciousness, Ian transmitted the precise coordinates.

The Profound Yellow Will’s response was calm and swift.

It "glanced" at the coordinates Ian had provided, which pointed to the Abyssal Altar beneath a Nameless Valley in the Eastern Central Continent.

This was the "Anchor Point" Ian had left behind on his arrival.

’He wasn’t afraid of the Profound Yellow Will trying to pull anything. Wei Song, the most solid Anchor Point on the planet, was still here.’

’With his current strength, even if he were stranded in the Void, it would at most cost him some time.’

’If it really dared to turn hostile, he would rather expose this precious coordinate, lead the armies of the Wizard World here, and simply raze the entire planet.’

’A newly ascended Level Six Will would be enough to attract countless Wizards.’

Soon, the space before Ian began to "bend." A tunnel formed of pure, azure Starlight unfolded silently before him.

Starlight flowed within the tunnel, which was unfathomably deep. Its far end was a remote darkness, yet the passage itself was exceptionally stable.

"GAWK! So powerful!" Gaga, perched on Ian’s shoulder, widened its silver eyes, its small claws gripping Ian’s robes tightly.

The Rule Fluctuation emanating from this tunnel was far grander and more stable than that of any altar Ian had previously constructed.

Ian nodded inwardly and reached out to rub Gaga’s little head. "Let’s go."

He stood up and took a single step into the azure Starlight tunnel.

The scenery around him changed in an instant. This wasn’t a journey through the material world, but a "slide" on the plane of Rules.

Ian could see the bizarre scenery of the Void outside the tunnel: chaotic storms of Energy, shattered Rule Fragments, and even the occasional, indescribable flash of a massive shadow.

But all of this was held back by the tunnel’s azure Light Curtain.

’Back when I was Level Three, crossing between worlds was a terrifying ordeal, like walking on thin ice. I was constantly afraid the tunnel would destabilize and I’d be torn apart by the Void’s turbulence.’

But now, Ian stood silently inside the tunnel, his body perfectly still.

’He even had enough spare attention to "analyze" the tunnel’s underlying Rule structure, which contained the Level Six Will’s profound understanding of space.’

Gaga had also relaxed, looking around curiously, its silver eyes reflecting the streaks of light that zipped past outside the tunnel.

"This is so much more comfortable than before! It’s not shaky at all!"

"It is," Ian agreed, his gaze fixed on the end of the tunnel.

He could feel the familiar, profound presence of the Wizard World’s Rules rapidly drawing closer.

...

「A thousand meters beneath the Nameless Valley, Eastern Territory, Central Continent.」

In the dim stone chamber, the Super Long-distance Teleportation Array that Ian had built with his own hands stood silently.

Beside it, the dark vortex at the center of the Abyssal Altar spun slowly, emitting a faint, distorted aura that maintained the channel of the Soul Link to the distant Profound Yellow World.

Suddenly, within the Teleportation Array, space began to ripple like the surface of water.

A ray of azure starlight emerged without a sound, rapidly condensing and expanding to form a stable portal.

Ian took a single step out of the portal, landing steadily before the array.

Gaga, perched on his shoulder, let out a long sigh. Though the journey had been smooth, the oppressive feeling of crossing the endless Void was still present.

The instant Ian landed, the Perception unique to a Level Four Morning Star Wizard erupted from him as the epicenter!

This was no longer the cautious Spiritual Power scan of his Level Three days, but a more fundamental, macroscopic sight from the perspective of the Rules.

The Abyssal Altar beneath his feet was structurally intact with stable Energy, and the Link to Wei Song’s Soul in the Profound Yellow World remained firm.

In fact, because the Profound Yellow World had ascended to Level Six, this channel had become a fraction more resilient than before.

’Excellent.’

Next, his Perception passed through the thick layers of rock and earth, continuing to spread outward.

In an instant, it covered East City, four thousand kilometers away, penetrating the layers of isolation Barriers arranged by the Justice Clan and spreading even farther.

Ten thousand kilometers, thirty thousand kilometers, fifty thousand kilometers...

The range of his Rule Perception far surpassed the fifteen-thousand-kilometer extent of his own Rule Domain!

At the edge of his Perception, he "touched" several other Wills, equally vast but all different in nature.

One was as brilliant as a great sun, carrying a sense of scorching all it touched; another was deep and restrained, containing immense Life Force.

Still others were as heavy as a mountain or as deathly silent as a chasm...

The moment Ian’s Perception swept over them, these Wills all stirred slightly, transmitting clear messages of intent.

There was no hostility—only scrutiny, curiosity, and a greeting between equals.

The appearance of an unfamiliar Morning Star Wizard in the Eastern Territory was enough to attract the attention of all other beings of the same rank.

Ian’s thoughts stirred, and he projected a peaceful and friendly wave of intent across the distance toward them, indicating that he had no ill intentions and was merely passing through.

Those vast Wills paused for a moment, seemingly accepting his message. They slowly withdrew their focus but still maintained a certain degree of "observation."
