Wizard: My Skills Can Infinitely Break Through

Chapter 540 - 373: World Devouring, Profound Yellow’s Ascension

  • Next Chapter

Outside the Profound Yellow World, within the Void.

Ian floated silently, a massive spatial rift beside him.

On the other side of the rift was a world on the verge of annihilation, now riddled with wounds.

The continental plates were like shattered crackers, their edges constantly crumbling away, turning into billions of burning fragments that fell into the Void.

A muffled whimper echoed from the depths of the planet’s core. The sun had completely died out, leaving behind only the dim halo of its remains.

The entire structure of the world was rapidly collapsing.

Just then, the azure planet behind Ian suddenly came alive.

BZZZT!

A Will, a hundred times vaster and immeasurably more ancient than Ian’s own Morning Star aura, descended with a thunderous roar!

In the Void, a boundless and colossal phantasm, formed from pure azure Starlight, slowly emerged.

It had no fixed form, appearing like an inverted ocean or the waking eye of a world.

Its mere "existence" caused the Void to congeal and even bent the path of light.

This was the Will of the Profound Yellow World.

An existence at the Level Five Limit, it had accumulated a foundation over long ages and was just one step away from ascending to Level Six.

At this moment, it sensed "food"—a world whose foundation was destroyed, on the verge of disintegration, where its Rules and matter were in their "loosest" and most digestible state.

From the depths of the phantasm, two "hands"—formless, intangible, yet capable of crushing Ian’s very Soul—extended outward.

They were not arms, but the physical manifestation of "seizing" and "fusing" on a conceptual level of Rules.

They crossed the Void and seized the crumbling barrier of the Estelle World.

SHRRRRRIP!!!

A colossal sound, impossible to describe in physical terms, echoed in the depths of Ian’s consciousness.

The barrier of Estelle, already covered in cracks, was easily torn asunder by those intangible "giant hands."

The first piece to be ripped away was the vast, frozen tundra of the north.

It shattered in the Void into billions of fragments of varying sizes, which were then precisely captured by the Profound Yellow World’s Gravity Field.

They transformed into a meteor shower stretching for tens of thousands of kilometers, hurtling toward the atmosphere of the Profound Yellow World.

Next came twisted mountain ranges, the ruins of crumbling cities, and boiling oceanic plates...

The Earth of the Estelle World was dismembered and torn apart, transforming into a torrential flood of countless fragments that were continuously dragged into the Profound Yellow World’s Gravity Vortex.

Meanwhile, an unprecedented and wondrous spectacle appeared in the skies of the Profound Yellow World.

It wasn’t just a meteor shower.

The devoured fragments of the Estelle World carried within them "information," "historical imprints," and "residual shadows of Rules"...

As they fell into the atmosphere and were assimilated by the Rules of the Profound Yellow World, these things were briefly "manifested."

The entire sky of the Profound Yellow World became a boundless screen, reflecting the final moments of another world.

The phantom of a dilapidated Floating City drifted past the clouds, and a silver High Tower flowing with Starlight Energy flashed for a moment against the sunset before vanishing.

Fuzzy silhouettes of former mountains, rivers, and even important buildings and battlefields appeared one after another in the skies all across the globe, like mirages.

This was a transient leakage of information flow as the Rules of two worlds blended, the final trace of the Estelle civilization, and its farewell ceremony to the entire Profound Yellow World.

The whole world was shaken.

Great Yan Capital City, in the deepest underground observation center.

Li Hao stood before a massive panoramic observation window, his head tilted up at the sky, watching the magnificent ruins and unfamiliar mountains that continuously flickered and overlapped—an existence he could not possibly comprehend.

His aged hands gripped the windowsill tightly, a sharp glint in his eyes, his breathing ragged.

"The world... is devouring another world..."

Beside him, a young researcher’s voice was already stammering with excitement.

"Elder Li, the Energy readings... they’re off the charts for all our instruments! What is..."

"You don’t understand!" Li Hao suddenly roared, his eyes erupting with a near-fanatical light.

"Look! Look closely! This isn’t destruction, this is... world ascension!"

His body trembled with excitement as he pointed to the meteor fragments in the sky, which were gradually integrating with the atmosphere and transforming into nourishment for the World Origin.

"It’s feeding! It’s growing! The world beneath our feet is evolving!"

As the most powerful figure in Great Yan, at least publicly, he understood the significance of "World Origin" and "Rule limits" better than anyone.

This scene before him surpassed everything recorded in the ancient texts. It was a "world ascension" that had previously existed only in theoretical conjecture!

White-headed Eagle Federation, at a top-secret base.

Alex was on one knee on an open-air platform, having even forgotten to maintain the dignity of a Legendary Powerhouse.

He gazed up at the strange phenomena appearing intermittently in the sky—the glory and ruin of another civilization.

He felt the vast Will enveloping the entire planet, a pulsation originating from the world itself.

"Divine!" His lips moved, and in the end, only that single word escaped them. His eyes were feverish, filled with awe and submission before this absolute power.

This was a Domain completely beyond the reach of humanity, or even any known form of life.

This was power that only a Divine Spirit could possess.

In the northwest of Great Yan, on a vast plain that had been cleared out and designated as a temporary settlement area.

The six hundred and twenty thousand survivors from Estelle had been safely delivered here by Ian’s Gravity Domain.

At this moment, all of them had stopped what they were doing. Whether they were building temporary shelters or tending to the wounded, they were all frozen like statues.

They raised their heads and stared at the sky of the Profound Yellow World.

There, they saw the mountains of their homeland being torn to shreds, the familiar skylines of their cities turning into streaks of light, and the final, magnificent yet tragic "death" of their home world.
