Chapter 525: Chapter 367: Heart of the World

Ian brought his hands together in front of him. In his Sea of Spirit, the Blazing Star Core trembled slightly.

The silver-gray Star Orbit representing the Gravity Rule erupted in light, and the Power of Rules was magnified to its absolute limit.

He pressed his hands downward. “Imprisonment.”

BOOM!!!

With the Earth-Devouring Demon Lizard at the center, the Gravity in a ten-thousand-meter radius instantly surged by a hundredfold!

He directly rewrote the Rules of this area, forcibly increasing the “density” of space.

The writhing nest tissues immediately groaned as if overwhelmed, the dark red flesh crushed and bursting under its own weight!

Viscous bodily fluids splattered, only to be slammed back to the ground by the hundredfold Gravity, making a sickening squelch.

Deep in the tunnel, the behemoth’s movements suddenly stiffened.

It could feel that its connection to the entire Earth Vein network had been severed.

Like a heart being forcibly ripped from its body, this emptiness and panic sent it into a fury.

Its earthy-yellow vertical pupils lit up in the darkness, the phantasmal image of rock strata deep within them flickering wildly.

It tried to mobilize Earth Energy, but the surrounding Gravity Field was like the sturdiest of cages, locking down all flow of Energy.

“Human… you…”

The intermittent Spiritual Fluctuation arrived, carrying with it irrepressible rage and a hint of fear.

Ian didn’t respond. He once again brought his hands together before his chest, and between his palms, a point of incandescent white light ignited.

The moment it condensed, it instantly expanded into a Miniature “Sun” one meter in diameter.

The Eternal Fierce Sun, appearing for the second time.

Ian, holding this Miniature Star in one hand, transformed into a streak of incandescent light and shot directly toward the depths of the tunnel!

The nest tissues along the way vaporized the instant they touched the brilliant flame, not even leaving behind Ashes.

The distance of over ten *li* was covered in the blink of an eye.

This Earth-Devouring Demon Lizard was over five hundred meters long, its entire body covered in a Magma Rock Shell.

At that moment, it was struggling frantically, trying to break free from the shackles of the gravitational cage.

When it saw the Miniature Sun in Ian’s hand, its earthy-yellow vertical pupils suddenly contracted to the size of a pinprick!

Its Soul screamed a frantic warning: ‘I’ll die! I’ll die!’

“ROAR!!!”

The Demon Lizard opened its massive maw, and a dark purple Energy gathered frantically in the depths of its throat as it attempted to spew a torrent of energy that could corrode anything.

“A pointless struggle.”

A sneer touched Ian’s eyes as he thrust his hands forward.

The Miniature Sun flew from his hands, tracing a graceful arc before precisely lodging itself in the Demon Lizard’s open maw.

Time seemed to stand still for a moment.

Reflected in the Demon Lizard’s pupils was the incandescent white orb in its own mouth, growing brighter and brighter.

It wanted to close its mouth, but the Gravity Rule held its jawbone firmly in place.

It wanted to spit out the orb, but the Thermal Energy Rule had already ignited the inside of its mouth.

BZZZ…

There was no earth-shattering explosion, only the strange hum of space itself being burned through.

The torrent of dark purple Energy was forcibly detonated, countered, and annihilated within the Demon Lizard’s throat.

Incandescent white light burst forth from its mouth, nose, eye sockets, and the cracks in its Shell!

The Demon Lizard’s enormous body convulsed violently, and countless cracks appeared on the surface of its Magma Rock Shell.

“AARGH!”

It let out a silent roar as its own formidable defenses were destroyed in the first wave of the assault.

But it wasn’t over.

Ian hovered in midair, his right index finger raised. A point of light, crimson to the extreme, condensed at its tip.

This was the physical manifestation of the pure Thermal Energy Rule, compressed to an incredible degree.

“Pierce.” He flicked his index finger forward.

SWISH!

A crimson ray as thin as a strand of hair shot out. It was silent, yet it shattered and warped the space in its path.

With a soft hiss, the ray sank precisely into the center of the Demon Lizard’s brow—the thickest part of its Shell.

The Demon Lizard’s struggles stopped abruptly, its earthy-yellow vertical pupils rapidly dimming.

The crimson ray exited the back of its head, pulling a wisp of a dark purple soul fragment with it.

Just as the Soul was about to completely disintegrate, a panel vibrated silently in the depths of Ian’s Sea of Spirit.

At the edge of his vision, pale gold text appeared.

[High-purity contaminated Soul residue detected. Commencing forced Purification…]

A wave of energy gently swept over the wisp of dark purple Soul.

“The Abyss… is eternal…”

A final, venomous whisper came from the depths of the Soul, which then dissipated completely.

The incandescent and purifying light gradually faded, revealing a crystal-clear, earthy-yellow Gemstone the size of an egg, suspended in the Gravity Field.

Inside the Gemstone, the phantom image of a miniature mountain range seemed to be sealed, slowly rotating.

[Obtained: Purified Level Four Soul Gem]

Ian reached out and drew the Gemstone into his palm, carefully sensing the profound essence of the Earth contained within its Soul Origin.

‘A Level Four Soul Gem… a hot commodity traded among Morning Stars.’

He muttered to himself and put the Gemstone away.

His gaze turned to the deeper parts of the tunnel, where specks of silver-blue light were embedded in the rock walls—the Star Realm Refined Gold Vein Ore.

The corners of Ian’s mouth turned up slightly, his mood becoming uncharacteristically cheerful.

He raised his right hand, fingers spread, and ripples of Gravity spread out from him, covering the entire area of the Vein Ore.

“Compress.”

With a thought, the Gravity Rule began to operate with precision.

The silver-blue Metal particles embedded in the rock walls were forcibly stripped away and pulled out by an invisible force.

They gathered in midair like a galaxy flowing in reverse, converging toward Ian’s palm.

The particles collided, compressed, and fused.

Their volume shrank at a rate visible to the naked eye, while their density increased madly.

One thousand cubic meters, one hundred cubic meters, ten cubic meters…

In the end, all the Star Realm Refined Gold was compressed into a silver-blue metal ingot, one cubic meter in size yet weighing several thousand tons.

The surface of the metal ingot flowed with a starlike luster, and the compressed nebular patterns had become incredibly dense.

Ian hefted the metal ingot in his hand, a smile spreading across his face.

‘Such extreme properties of compression and extension… this… should be enough to build the foundation of my Wizard Tower.’
