Wizard: I Add Points and Hunt Monsters
Chapter 564 - 222: Grave Digger 4
’Hand of the Kingdom, a top-tier Great Mage?’
Wei’en knew. The black-robed man before him had to be on the same level as the Great Demon Commander the clown had summoned.
"But the most terrifying thing about him is," Clelia continued, "he can use tombstones to summon powerful creatures from another world—the one they call the True World."
"Tombstones?"
Clelia nodded, pointing to the black-robed man’s hands. "That’s what he’s carrying. The more he has, the stronger he becomes. Some of the creatures he summons are even as powerful as he is."
TINKLE, TINKLE.
Just then, a crisp, pleasant sound like a wind chime rang out.
Immediately after, hundreds of messages instantly flooded the panel in Wei’en’s mind.
[You have entered a repository of endless killing intent from an unknown existence. Because your Spirit Level is greater than 5000, you have successfully resisted the erosion of Spiritual Power. Evaluation: Hmm, so that’s how it is. The so-called ’real’... Special Reward: Survival Points +20, Spirit Level +2.]
[...]
[You have entered... Special Reward: Survival Points +10.]
[You have been targeted by the killing intent of Grave Digger Agostinho Harvey. Evaluation: Sixty percent Origin Power fusion. Be careful not to let it pull you into the "True World"—it’s a graveyard! Reward: Survival Points +100.]
Hmm?
Wei’en noticed the messages on the panel, confirming that the Pyramids were the repositories of killing intent.
’But a full one hundred messages about these repositories?’
’Are there a hundred Pyramids?’
’How did that carriage...?’
’There’s something wrong with that carriage!’
’But what are the "True World" and the "graveyard" the panel mentioned?’
Wei’en’s mind raced, connecting this to what Clelia had just said about the summoned Extraordinary Creatures.
’Does the "True World" refer to the world where those creatures come from?’
But before Wei’en could ponder it further, a terrifying pressure descended, and his body instantly went rigid.
Behind him, Ronan and the others didn’t even have time to react before they were slammed onto the deck. Caught off guard, some of the pirates were knocked unconscious by the impact.
A flicker of change crossed Wei’en’s eyes. He had felt such an aura from the Great Demon Commander before; it was Origin Power, condensed to its absolute limit, churning the space around him.
And that wasn’t all. As the black-robed man’s power erupted, the Pyramids on the carriage began to shake even more violently. A dazzling, silver-white light pulsed, illuminating the bloodstains on the carriage and releasing an aura of oppression, sinister cold, madness, and despair.
"Get them all into the cabin."
Wei’en stepped forward, shielding Clelia. He wanted her to get Ronan and the others away from here, and quickly.
He knew full well that he was still a long way from the level of a Great Demon Commander. He wouldn’t be able to protect everyone on board while fighting.
"Be careful of the carriage behind him!" Clelia nodded. She knew her own strength was no match for this foe, so she could only provide as much information about the Grave Digger as possible. "You remember that Alchemy Array we found on Dakman Island, don’t you?"
"Are you saying there’s a Deep Sea Giant Monster in there?"
Wei’en’s brow furrowed. Of course he hadn’t forgotten that terrifying Alchemy Array, the one that could cause Deep Sea Giant Beasts to evolve.
If there was a Deep Sea Giant Beast in that carriage, then things couldn’t possibly be worse!
"It’s very likely!"
Clelia glanced at the black-robed man again, then clenched her jaw and turned. "Be careful. If you can’t beat him, you must retreat to the theater!"
"Right."
Once Clelia had used her puppet strings to maneuver the pirates on deck into the cabin, Wei’en relaxed slightly.
He leaped onto the ship’s railing, looking down at the black-robed man, who had made no move to interfere. As he stretched his limbs, he asked, "Can you tell me the purpose of these Pyramids you’ve set up across the Cordo Sea?"
’It can’t just be to help more Deep Sea Giant Beasts evolve, can it?’
’At the very least, after those Deep Sea Giant Beasts evolve, they must have a destination... or a target?’
But the black-robed man on the carriage didn’t answer his question. Instead, he spoke with a trace of anger:
"I remember who she is!"
