Wizard: Grinding to Lord of Truth
Chapter 333 - 334: So-called Truth, and Falsehood
Chapter 333: Chapter 334: So-called Truth, and Falsehood
"The answer is simple. If his Talent is real, then for the sake of that Talent, the other Divine Spirits will do everything in their power to help Saint Extreme grow."
"This is because he is the future hope of the Pantheon World Group, the hope that will determine whether the Pantheon World Group can dominate the entire Endless Star Realm."
"After I’ve said all that, can you still claim that this Saint Extreme you speak of has no connection to the other great Divine Spirits?"
"Then let me ask another question. If Saint Extreme possesses such a Talent, logically, shouldn’t his information have been strictly hidden before he was fully grown to protect him from targeted attacks by other factions?"
"So how is it that his existence became known to people like you, who were just drafted for a mission?"
Andre stared at the Soul Saint Spirit, posing a series of fatal questions.
Upon hearing these words, the Soul Saint Spirit froze completely.
’That’s right... If Saint Extreme truly has such a Talent, his information should have been strictly sealed away. How could it possibly have been leaked?’
The Soul Saint Spirit was completely stunned, muttering to himself nonstop.
As the Soul Saint Spirit was muttering, chains glowing with a bronze light began to materialize from within his phantom form.
The moment these chains appeared, the Soul Saint Spirit’s expression changed abruptly, becoming fierce and pained.
"Guang Heng, you...!"
Before the Soul Supreme God could finish his curse, the chains glowing with bronze light began to tighten.
Soon, the Soul Saint Spirit exploded under the pressure of the chains, turning into countless streams of information that began to dissipate within the Central Control Room.
But when Andre saw the bronze chains appear on the Soul Saint Spirit, he immediately reached out, his fingers tracing one Demon Pattern after another.
Ultimately, these Demon Patterns formed a Witchcraft spell that enveloped all the streams of information.
"I still remember what your companion, the God of Destruction and War, said to me."
Andre grasped the Message Ball in his hand and shook his head, looking at where the Soul Saint Spirit had just dissipated.
Back then, when he was in the Multi-Body World searching for the God of Destruction and War, the War God had suddenly revived and relentlessly pursued him.
Fortunately, with the help of the Eight-toothed Giant Elephant, the God of Destruction and War could never catch him.
After realizing the God of Destruction and War couldn’t catch up, Andre had asked him if their mission had succeeded.
The God of Destruction and War had given him a direct no.
And before that, he had asked the God of Destruction and War another question.
"Why did the three of you die in this world? Who killed you?!"
At that time, the God of Destruction and War had said this to him and the Eight-toothed Giant Elephant.
"It cannot be spoken of. This matter has been sealed by him. Even if I wanted to tell you, you wouldn’t be able to hear it unless your Power surpasses his."
These words, coming from the mouth of the God of Destruction and War himself, meant that the incident had been completely sealed away by the perpetrator, stripped from the very fabric of time and space.
One had to understand that when the Destruction Saint Spirit said this, although he was already dead, his final consciousness was what sustained him.
Within that final will, the essence of the Destruction Saint Spirit’s Power was at least at the Moonlight Level.
Something that could render a Moonlight Level expert unable to speak.
And yet the Soul Saint Spirit, hidden within the Soul Blade, was able to explain the cause of the incident with perfect clarity.
He even stated that the Star River World Group was refined to build a foundation for the so-called Saint Extreme.
From this, it seemed the Soul Saint Spirit was not affected by the seal.
But was that really the case?
The Soul Saint Spirit’s identity on the surface was the Wisdom Saint Spirit, but his essence was actually Soul.
As mentioned before, Soul and wisdom are related, but that relationship is not absolute.
Therefore, the Soul Saint Spirit had to go to great lengths to hide his identity while still ensuring his Power continued to grow.
From this perspective, the Soul Saint Spirit’s Power in life was likely greater than that of the God of Destruction and War.
But the Soul Saint Spirit had also fallen. Judging from this, even if he was stronger than the God of Destruction and War, it couldn’t have been by much.
In other words, the Soul Saint Spirit and the God of Destruction and War were essentially equals.
Two equal beings—one was affected, but the other wasn’t. Was that possible?
That was why Andre relentlessly questioned the Soul Saint Spirit, hoping to find a hole in his story. He planned to use these loopholes as a breakthrough point to uncover the truth of that long-ago expedition.
As he continued his questioning, his plan succeeded.
Faced with his barrage of questions, the Soul Saint Spirit soon revealed certain things.
Among these revelations, what fascinated Andre the most was the Saint Extreme mentioned by the Soul Saint Spirit.
He could believe that Saint Extreme had nine Divine Patterns.
But that these nine Divine Patterns happened to represent the three great Powers of Time, Space, and Fate? How could Andre believe that?
He had the heritage of a Divine Bloodline from the World of Gods, after all, didn’t he?
Generally speaking, Divine Patterns are a symbol of walking the path to Ascension to Divinity.
Typically, Divine Patterns have only two sources.
One is, as recorded in the Bloodline inheritances, to receive the Power of one’s ancestors through the Bloodline, thereby manifesting Divine Patterns.
The other is through one’s own cultivation, continuously absorbing the Power of Faith to strengthen one’s body.
During this process, Divine Patterns will appear according to the nature of the Believers’ faith.
In other words, a God Ascender could indeed manifest multiple Divine Patterns.
But multiple Divine Patterns would never be as balanced as the nine Divine Patterns on the Saint Extreme that the Soul Saint Spirit described.
It’s impossible. Not even by inheriting the Power of one’s ancestors.
Andre dared to say this because within the entire Pantheon World Group, there was no family that unified the three Powers of Space, Time, and Fate.
Not since the moment the Pantheon World Group first came into being.
So, after hearing this, Andre knew the loophole he was looking for had appeared.
Thus, Andre repeatedly emphasized this point to the Soul Saint Spirit, finally triggering the failsafe someone had placed on him and causing the phantom of the Soul Supreme God to vanish before his eyes.
’Thankfully, I sensed something was wrong the moment he appeared.’
’I didn’t use Soul Witchcraft to refine him directly. Otherwise, that failsafe would have been triggered on me.’
Andre looked at the Message Ball in his hand and couldn’t help but sigh with emotion.
But what he didn’t know was that at this very moment, within a spacetime vortex somewhere in the Endless Star Realm, a vast and majestic figure was slowly opening its glittering green eyes.
