Chapter 323: Chapter 324: Golden Giant Hand, Instant Refinement

Thinking it over, this was the only possible answer.

Otherwise, it would have been very difficult for these races to band together and help the Giant Dragon Race fight the All Gods.

’So, the Divine Spirits created a stronger Pudu Divine Technique!’

A very dangerous thought suddenly surfaced in Andre’s mind.

The so-called Pudu Divine Technique was a means by which Divine Spirits forcefully created Believers.

Through this Divine Art, they planted seeds in the hearts of living beings.

These seeds would then absorb the beings’ emotions.

As their emotions were absorbed, the seeds would gradually grow.

And as the seeds grew, the beings who had been implanted with them would come to feel, from the bottom of their hearts, that faith in the Divine Spirits was their one true purpose in life.

This process usually took only a few months.

Thus, the Pudu Divine Technique was an exceptionally tyrannical and malicious Divine Art.

This Divine Art was also one of the main reasons why other races and powers in the Endless Star Realm were hostile toward the Pantheon World Group.

No one wanted to suddenly become another’s slave, forced to offer up everything they owned.

’But that doesn’t make sense. Even if the All Gods updated and developed their Pudu Divine Technique, they wouldn’t pick the Giant Dragon Race to test it on. They’re a notoriously tough nut to crack!’ 𝒻𝘳ℯℯ𝑤ℯ𝒷𝘯ℴ𝓋ℯ𝘭.𝑐ℴ𝑚

Andre raised his left hand, scratching his temple as he pondered the question.

’How strange. What on earth are those guys planning?’

Andre was utterly baffled.

The All Gods were attacking the Giant Dragon Race. Other races had sent reinforcements, yet the All Gods hadn’t recalled the forces they had split off earlier. They were using only a third of their entire fleet to fight back. ’Have they gone mad?!’

’Don’t tell me the All Gods bewitched one of the Dragon Gods? Is that why they’re so confident they can split the Giant Dragon Race?’

Andre’s brow furrowed as he considered the possibility.

After thinking for a long while, this seemed like the most plausible explanation.

’But that’s not right, either. The Dragon Gods of the Giant Dragon Race... while their title includes the word ’God,’ they’re completely different from the Divine Spirits of the Pantheon World Group.’

’The Divine Spirits in the Pantheon World Group gain Power by relying on the faith of their Believers.’

’They refine the Power of Faith into Divine Power to transform their bodies, then ignite the Divine Fire and raise a Divine Kingdom. Afterward, based on the nature of their Believers’ faith, they gradually form their own Divine Position.’

’But the Dragon Gods of the Giant Dragon Race are actually the progenitors of their respective dragon bloodlines. They’re completely different from these Divine Spirits who rely on faith for their Power.’

’The descendants of these dragon progenitors revere them simply because they are the source of their bloodline. It’s not the same kind of simple, blind faith that the Divine Spirits demand.’

Now Andre was truly getting confused.

Searching for an answer, Andre continued to examine the images.

He reached the eighth image. It showed the All Gods beginning to show signs of defeat and starting to retreat.

As the All Gods retreated, the Giant Dragon Race and their allied reinforcements only gave chase for a short distance before pulling back.

’They couldn’t win, so they came just to get killed?’

’Are there really so many Divine Spirits in the Pantheon World Group that they can afford this?’

The baffling maneuvers in the image only made Andre more confused the longer he looked.

’Even if there really were that many Divine Spirits in the Pantheon World Group, this is still not what they should be doing.’

’They should be conquering worlds they can actually win against, taking them over, and converting their inhabitants into Believers. But this...?’

Andre stared at the image, scratching his head in confusion.

’This splinter fleet couldn’t possibly be a decoy for other fleets, could it?’

Andre stared at the image, his mind racing. After a long while, he finally came up with a plausible explanation.

But that just raised a new question. Who was important enough to warrant a decoy of over a hundred Divine Warships?

In the Pantheon World Group, only the legendary God of Gods, said to be equal to the Truth Limit Great Wizards, or perhaps the Kings of War Gods.

Besides them, no one in the Pantheon World Group was worthy of such a sacrifice.

The more Andre thought, the more confused he became. He moved on to the next image.

He was now at the ninth image.

It depicted a retreat that wasn’t exactly a retreat.

After withdrawing from the worlds ruled by the Giant Dragon Race, the Divine Fleet proceeded to attack other worlds. The number of Divine Warships deployed varied according to each world’s Level.

’Hiss... Are they really trying to get rid of their own forces because they feel they’re too strong? Sending a portion out just to let other races weaken them?’

Andre stared at the image, unable to comprehend their actions.

But when he saw the tenth image, Andre finally understood why the fleet had acted this way.

In this image, a vast and immense golden hand suddenly emerged from the pitch-black, lightless Star Realm and seized the entire World Group.

Then, the golden hand smelted the entire World Group into the purest form of Energy.

This Energy then coalesced in the palm of the golden hand, forming a dazzling, dark-golden crystal.

’Such methods... This was undoubtedly the work of an Origin Deity!’

As Andre stared at the golden hand, the confusion in his eyes instantly turned to sheer horror.

’The master of this golden hand must have found the life within this World Group lacking, both in quality and quantity. That’s why he orchestrated this entire charade.’

’He had the Giant Dragon Race notify their allies, bringing all the beings native to this World Group back home.’

’Once he confirmed the World Group and the life within it met his requirements, he seized it, instantly refined it, and made all those lives, along with the entire World Group, a part of himself.’

Andre gazed at the image of the golden hand, utterly thunderstruck.

To take an entire World Group, along with all the life within it, and refine it all into something for one’s own use.

Even the most vicious and depraved Demon Lords would rarely do such a thing.

’What a grand display of power. But what could possibly motivate an Origin Deity to cross space just to slaughter an entire World Group?’

After his initial shock at the Origin Deity’s grand design, Andre began to ponder this very question.

But no matter how he looked at it, every theory he came up with was quickly dismissed.
