Wizard: Grinding to Lord of Truth

Chapter 288 - 290: The Four Great Civilization Wills

  • Next Chapter

As more and more world consciousnesses were assimilated and absorbed by the Wizard Civilization Will, the Fire of Civilization burned ever brighter.

The Wizard Civilization Will's Power grew stronger and stronger, and it began a continuous transformation.

Initially, the Wizard Civilization Will was merely a mass of light, like a great sun.

But now, the Wizard Civilization Will began to solidify. First, it resembled a star. Then it continued to expand, and before long, it evolved into a moon.

Finally, it was on the verge of transforming into a true sun.

And once the Wizard Civilization Will reached this stage, the light it emanated was like that of a great sun, illuminating the Endless Star Realm.

Originally, most of the Endless Star Realm was shrouded in darkness.

Due to the scarcity of worlds, only worlds could bring even a sliver of light to the Endless Star Realm.

But now, the light radiating from the Wizard Civilization Will illuminated the territories under the Wizard Civilization's rule, making them as bright as day.

It was this very light that allowed many Wizards to see the worlds connected to them. Immediately, preparations for a grand and vigorous expedition began.

But the changes brought about by the Wizard Will's transformation did not end there.

Many difficult problems faced by the Wizards were solved in an instant, simply by being bathed in the light emanating from the Wizard Civilization Will.

Furthermore, any life born within the range of the Wizard Civilization Will's influence now experienced a powerful enhancement to their essence, their Soul, their intelligence, and their comprehension.

One could say that the transformation of the Wizard Civilization Will directly elevated the future and the foundation of the Wizard Civilization to a whole new level.

It was precisely because of this sudden change that in the Pantheon World Group, which stood far opposite the Wizard Ancestral Land, a Divine Being exuding a grand aura appeared in the sky above.

At this moment, the Divine Being watched the changes caused by the Wizard Civilization Will, grinding his teeth to dust in frustration.

And he was the Collective Will of the Gods of the Pantheon World Group.

In essence, he, the Collective Will of the Gods, was an existence on the same level as the Wizard Civilization Will.

But he was different from the Wizard Civilization Will. The Wizard Civilization Will was simply a powerful force.

However, due to the unique nature of the Pantheon World Group, he possessed a certain degree of consciousness.

But now, the changes happening to the Wizard Civilization Will meant that it had already begun to surpass him.

'These fools only know how to bicker amongst themselves. I don't know when they'll ever quiet down.'

The Collective Will of the Gods looked toward the Pantheon World Group that had given birth to him.

Because the Power of the All Gods came from faith, even if he issued his own directives to these fools, they would fall on deaf ears.

The wisdom brought by his consciousness was utterly lost on them.

This was why, despite originally surpassing the Wizard Civilization Will, he now found himself falling behind.

Faced with this situation, the Collective Will of the Gods began to continuously issue commands to the All Gods within the Pantheon World Group.

But the All Gods who received the commands acted as if they hadn't heard a thing, continuing to indulge in feasting and merrymaking within their own Divine Kingdoms.

'Power born from faith will, in the end, be shackled by faith.'

Facing this situation, the Collective Will of the Gods shook his head. 'It's hopeless. Completely hopeless.'

After their Divine Positions were born within their Souls, these Gods would only act in accordance with their Divine Positions.

As for anything else, unless they were facing a life-or-death crisis, they wouldn't lift a finger.

On another side, a vast, illusory figure slowly appeared.

After this illusory figure appeared in the Endless Star Realm, it began to change constantly. At times it was a book, then an eye, then the form of a Demon, and then it would transform into a ball of mist.

And these features happened to be the characteristics of Demons.

This illusory figure was the Will of the Endless Demons. Like the Collective Will of the Gods and the Wizard Civilization Will, it was a collective will born from a civilization.

At this moment, the Will of the Endless Demons watched the ever-growing Wizard Civilization Will, shifting its form ceaselessly.

But no matter how it changed, the Will of the Endless Demons could not begin to transform like the Wizard Civilization Will did. In the end, it could only slowly dissipate.

And in opposition to the endless Demons was a vast world. The area this world occupied in the Endless Star Realm was equivalent to the size of two Pantheon World Groups.

This world was the Bottomless Abyss, which periodically unleashed the disaster of the Abyss upon the Endless Star Realm.

At this moment, streaks of black and gray divine light shot out from this world.

This divine light gathered together, forming the figure of a Demon.

This Demon had three heads and nine pairs of wings on its back. Four pairs were tattered bone wings, two pairs were rotting, ravaged flesh wings, and one pair was covered in feathers.

The final two pairs of wings were composed of infinite planes.

It also had four arms: one was a beast's claw, one a dragon's claw, one a human hand, and one a pincer resembling an insect's.

On its stomach, countless tiny whirlpools were constantly being born and destroyed. With each cycle of creation and destruction, another layer of planes would be added to the two pairs of wings made of infinite planes.

Below its stomach were six legs: two were dragon's legs, two were beast's legs, and two were human legs.

And this Demon was the will of the Bottomless Abyss, the Demon of All Demons.

The Demon of All Demons roared endlessly as it watched the transforming Wizard Civilization Will.

He was the strongest of the four great civilization wills.

But now, the Wizard Civilization Will had undergone a transformation, to the point that the Demon of All Demons could feel the Power contained within it was beginning to catch up to him, and even surpass him.

The Demon of All Demons looked at the Wizard Civilization Will and let out a roar. An overwhelmingly powerful force erupted from within the Bottomless Abyss, sucking everything in its vicinity into the Abyss, where these things became new planes.

As the new planes formed, the Power of the Demon of All Demons also grew continuously.

But the rate at which the Wizard Civilization Will's Power was increasing was completely unaffected by the Demon of All Demons' provocation; it just kept growing.

The Demon of All Demons immediately moved its claws, intending to attack the Wizard Civilization Will directly.

But then, chains filled with the Abyssal Demon Language lashed out and restrained the Demon of All Demons, stopping it in its tracks.

A battle between civilization wills would signify an all-out war between two supreme powers.

Regardless of which side won, they would suffer extremely heavy losses. Therefore, supreme civilizations generally did not engage in all-out war.

Thus, facing the belligerent Demon of All Demons, the Demons within the Bottomless Abyss used the strongest Power at their command to restrain him.

And it was precisely because of this restraint by the Demons that the Demon of All Demons became extremely aggrieved.
