After all, it wasn’t exactly a good thing, so there was really no need to mention it. However, after meeting An Rui’s curious gaze, Zhou Qi gave a brief explanation in a low voice.

As for the others, their interest in why Xiao Rou was here was clearly less than their interest in her being a girl.

"Xiao, hello, I’m Ah Wai, you can also call me Xiao Wei."

Someone started introducing themselves, and the rest quickly followed suit.

Xiao Rou wasn’t Zhou Chengchen; she wasn’t as lively as Cheng Chen. Facing so many people’s enthusiasm, she felt a bit overwhelmed. To their warm greetings, she simply smiled and said, "Hello."

As these young people decided to be even more enthusiastic, Zhou Qi stepped in to help her out.

Theoretically, Xiao Rou was older than most people here, but as they say, girls have the privilege of being cared for, regardless of their age.

"Xiao, there’s yogurt and fruit in the fridge. Don’t be shy, eat whatever you want."

"Thank you."

Maintaining her smile, Xiao Rou was indeed somewhat nervous, but the warmth of these people made it easy, and she gradually relaxed.

"In the afternoon, I’ll take you to see the storefront. What should we do now? Head home first or stay here?"

Xiao Rou hesitated a bit. She felt she should go home, but she also felt a bit scared and reluctant. Plus, if she went home now, it would trouble Zhou Qi even more later. Xiao quickly made up her mind: "I’ll stay here then, is that okay?"

"Not at all."

Zhou Qi smiled and handed Xiao a tablet: "We’re training, you can play on your own. There’s a terrace upstairs, stay wherever you like."

"Okay, thank you."

Xiao Rou wasn’t Zhou Chengchen, not as at ease. Cheng Chen would wander around, but Xiao wouldn’t. She quietly sat in a corner of the sofa with the tablet Zhou Qi gave her.

"Did we schedule a training match today?"

Someone asked, and An Rui nodded: "Adjust yourselves, it starts at nine-thirty."

Although curious about the girl, they were professionals, so they quickly focused on what they needed to do.

Zhou Qi sat at the computer, flexed his fingers, and as nine-thirty approached, he cast one last look at Xiao Rou before turning back to the screen.

Xiao was initially hoping to find a drama to watch but didn’t find anything interesting. So she started browsing the web, looking up information about setting up a shop.

Soon, she heard chatter coming from the direction where only the sounds of mouse and keyboard had been.

"Oh my god, are they cheating today?"

"Aah! I’m gonna die, help!"

"Damn, Brother Qi is awesome!"

"Carry, carry, Brother Qi’s amazing!"

The noise came from more than one person. Xiao glanced over and saw everyone focused intently on their screens. She didn’t understand gaming, less so than Cheng Chen, but she could at least grasp the meaning in their chatter.

Brother Qi referred to Zhou Qi; it meant Zhou Qi was impressive, according to their comments.

Xiao Rou’s gaze turned to Zhou Qi. From her angle, she could only see Zhou Qi’s profile, focused eyes, hands moving non-stop, with a face devoid of expression, yet inexplicably giving off an air of sharpness.

Having known Zhou Qi for so many years, Xiao Rou had never seen such an expression on his face.
