Chapter 1285: If I Don’t Trust You, Who Should I Trust?

Zhou Chengchen said this, and couldn’t help but blush. Si Yan didn’t react immediately, looking at Zhou Chengchen’s flushed cheeks, and recalling her earlier demeanor.

After a while, Si Yan finally understood what she meant.

It wasn’t that he was slow to react; it’s just that he hadn’t thought in that direction at all.

Now, seeing Zhou Chengchen’s appearance, he finally realized what her unusual behavior earlier was about.

Si Yan was somewhat amused, pressing Zhou Chengchen’s head into his embrace, he chuckled, "I know."

"But... but..."

Zhou Chengchen still didn’t say it out loud, but Si Yan had already understood what she meant.

Weiwei smiled slightly, "Silly girl, there’s always an exception. Not everyone bleeds the first time."

"Really?"

Si Yan nodded, seeing Zhou Chengchen’s still puzzled look. He simply pulled out his phone to search for information and showed her.

Zhou Chengchen’s knowledge wasn’t gained from any formal anatomy books; it was purely gathered from various novels. Now, seeing the professional analysis, she instantly felt that she indeed hadn’t read enough.

Upon seeing examples where some girls might get injured during childhood due to external forces, Zhou Chengchen quickly remembered learning to ride a bicycle and switching from four wheels to two. She seemed to have fallen and gotten hurt due to unfamiliarity.

At that time, she only knew about the pain, didn’t care about where she was injured, and now thinking back, it could have been then.

Returning the phone to Si Yan, Zhou Chengchen wandered off in thought again, "Why did you trust me so much?"

Knowing that such a possibility exists is one thing, but most people’s first response would be to distrust her, right?

Si Yan frowned, looking at her as if she had asked a dumb, dumb question.

"If I don’t trust you, who would I trust?"

Zhou Chengchen’s eyes lit up, her face blossoming into an unstoppable smile, and she dived into Si Yan’s embrace, "Mmm... You’re so nice, I really like you."

Si Yan smiled as he tightened his hold on the person in his arms. Even after three years, she hadn’t changed. Clever as she was, sometimes she was just adorably silly.

The two of them cozied up at home all day, not venturing out until dusk for the place Zhou Qi mentioned.

Zhou Chengchen had also invited Xiao Rou, along with her boyfriend. Over on Zhou Qi’s side, An Rui was there too, making it six people in total.

Since he was going to be a professional player, Zhou Qi didn’t drink, and the six of them just had a simple meal.

Although on the phone Zhou Qi made a big deal about settling score with Si Yan, it ultimately was just a joke.

Because Zhou Qi was leaving early the day after tomorrow, that night Zhou Chengchen didn’t return to the apartment with Si Yan but went to the Zhou Family home.

Regarding her brother, who was almost without age difference, Zhou Chengchen felt an inexplicable guilt. She knew that because of her, Zhou Qi had been delayed for three years, wasting precious time in his already short competitive career.

Even though she knew Zhou Qi didn’t mind, even if because of her he could never stand on that stage again, Zhou Qi wouldn’t mind.

But she cared a lot. The two returned to the Zhou Family home, and Zhou Chengchen carried two cups of milk and knocked on Zhou Qi’s door, "Brother, drink some milk to strengthen your calcium."

Zhou Qi accepted it and teased, "Tsk tsk, you guys made up, huh? All pink bubbles everywhere."

"That’s right, Bro, you should find me a sister-in-law, gender doesn’t matter!"
