Chapter 73: Chapter 72: The Overbearing CEO’s Little Wildcat 13

The helicopter soon arrived at a mountain in the suburbs. The moment she stepped off the aircraft, Ji Xiaosong was stunned by the scene before her.

The entire mountain was a vision of pink and white. The trees were all tied with pink and white silk ribbons that fluttered gently in the breeze.

They walked along a path strewn with pink and white flower petals, flanked on both sides by freshly transplanted champagne and pink roses.

With every three steps they took, a jet of pink fireworks shot into the air.

Just like that, Lu Youheng held Ji Xiaosong’s hand, leading her forward step by step, until they were met by one familiar face after another—people Ji Xiaosong had seen before.

"Don’t be nervous. They’re all my friends from childhood," Lu Youheng said, gently squeezing Ji Xiaosong’s hand to reassure her. "You’re my wife now. Of course, I should introduce you to all my friends."

The moment the crowd saw them approaching, the atmosphere erupted with excitement.

A tall man rushed over, spreading his arms wide in an exaggerated gesture. "Well, well, Youheng! You’ve been holding out on us, only bringing this gorgeous lady to meet us now!" he said, adding a wink in Ji Xiaosong’s direction.

A woman with short hair squeezed through the crowd and pressed a small, exquisite box into Ji Xiaosong’s hands. "Here, this is a little welcome gift from us. This guy, Lu Youheng, gave us plenty of trouble back in the day. You have to help us keep him in line from now on!"

Another man wearing glasses laughed and said, "Come on, everyone, let’s get a picture! That way, if Mr. Lu ever dares to give you a hard time, we can use it as blackmail!"

With that, the group swarmed around Ji Xiaosong and Lu Youheng, striking all sorts of goofy poses for photos while their laughter echoed across the mountain.

When the excitement was at its peak, Lu Youheng suddenly and unexpectedly dropped to one knee. He held out a pink ring, and a black one.

"For the rest of your life, you belong to me. And if you have any objections... well, I know you don’t."

After speaking, Lu Youheng slipped the pink ring onto Ji Xiaosong’s finger.

"I’m not very good at romantic speeches. I can only tell you directly that you are my wife. You are Mrs. Lu, and you will always be Mrs. Lu."

"Now, it’s your turn to put my ring on."

Lu Youheng held out his hand, looking up at Ji Xiaosong.

’The design of the ring was unique,’ she thought. ’It even had a family crest on it.’

She picked up the black ring and slowly slid it onto Lu Youheng’s finger.

"It’s a perfect match for you."

The moment Ji Xiaosong finished speaking, their friends erupted into wild cheers and applause.

"Congratulations to the newlyweds!"

The celebration continued for the entire day. That evening, Grandma Lu found an excuse to leave the house and stay somewhere else for the night.

Ji Xiaosong stood before the floor-to-ceiling windows, cradling a mug of warm milk.

She took a small sip, leaving a white stain at the corner of her mouth.

Lu Youheng tiptoed over and gently wrapped his arms around her from behind.

He rested his chin lightly on the crown of her head, his arms slowly tightening, pulling her snugly into his embrace.

He felt her tremble slightly, and a fond, doting smile curved his lips.

He tilted his head slightly, his gaze fixed on the alluring drop of milk at the corner of her lips.

His eyes instantly deepened with a fiery intensity. He leaned in slowly, his tongue darting out to gently lick it away.

Ji Xiaosong’s body went rigid in an instant, her breathing becoming ragged.

But Lu Youheng didn’t stop. His tongue continued to trace the corner of her mouth, a touch full of endless intimacy and longing.

Ji Xiaosong’s face flushed crimson, like a ripe apple. She bit her lower lip, her hands clutching the arms wrapped around her waist. She wanted to push him away but had no strength to do so.

Lu Youheng sensed her shyness but didn’t let her go. As his tongue retreated from her lips, he pressed his own against her ear and murmured in a low, husky voice, "So sweet."

Ji Xiaosong’s mind drifted back to when she had first arrived at this apartment. She had looked out at the night skyline and wondered what a different scene it would be if Lu Youheng were here.

Now, only the two of them were left in the entire house. It seemed what she had idly imagined back then was about to come true.

"Want any more milk?"

Lu Youheng asked, his lips still by Ji Xiaosong’s ear.

"Yes!"

Blushing, Ji Xiaosong drained the rest of her mug and casually set it on the floor.

"Was one mug enough?"

"Yes, yes, that’s enough..."

"Mrs. Lu, how could one mug of milk possibly be enough? You should have much more. After all, it’s been four months. I checked with the doctor, and he said it’s perfectly safe for Mrs. Lu to have several more ’mugs of milk’."

...

The room was exceptionally hot that night. The curtains were left open, if only to let some of the heat escape.

Their shameless, blissful days continued like this, right up until the final months of her pregnancy.

Ji Xiaosong was pregnant with triplets. Though her belly was large, she didn’t get a single stretch mark.

Her entire pregnancy was remarkably smooth, and the babies developed well.

Finally, amid everyone’s eager anticipation, Ji Xiaosong gave birth.

To three sons.

When Grandma Lu heard that Ji Xiaosong had safely delivered three sons, she was so moved that she clasped her hands together in prayer, tears shining in her eyes.

She rushed to the hospital, muttering over and over on the way, "This is wonderful, just wonderful! The Lu Family has heirs!"

Upon arriving at the room, Grandma Lu nearly stumbled in her haste. She rushed to Ji Xiaosong’s bedside, gripped her hand tightly, and said in a trembling voice, "Oh, Xiaosong, you’ve worked so hard! You are the true hero of our Lu Family!"

Turning to look at her three pink, chubby great-grandsons, Grandma Lu beamed, unable to close her mouth as she praised them endlessly. "Just look at these three little guys! Aren’t they handsome!"

Standing nearby, Lu Youheng was also overcome with emotion. Seeing Ji Xiaosong’s exhausted yet blissful expression, his heart swelled with gratitude and tenderness.

He bent down, kissed her on the forehead, and whispered, "Honey, thank you. I love you."

Then, he gingerly picked up one of their sons to show Ji Xiaosong, handling him with such care you’d think he was holding the world’s most precious treasure.

Friends and family heard the wonderful news and flocked to the hospital to offer their congratulations.

The room was filled to the brim with people, every face alight with a joyous smile.

"Congratulations, Mr. Lu, on the birth of your sons! And three at once! This is truly a tremendous blessing!"

"Xiaosong is incredible! To give the Lu Family three male heirs in one go!"

"Lu Youheng, you’ve got your work cut out for you now! Three boys—that’s going to be a handful!"

The room was abuzz as everyone chimed in, one after another.

Lu Youheng responded with a laugh, "Even if I’m busy, it’ll be a happy kind of busy. I will take good care of her and our sons."

Grandma Lu, even more thrilled, addressed the crowd, "Today is such a joyous day! Once Xiaosong and the babies are out of the hospital, we must throw a huge celebration!"

Everyone nodded in agreement, and the hospital room filled with laughter and bright hopes for the future.

The three newborn babies looked at the people chattering back and forth in front of them, scrunched up their faces, and let out a loud "WAAAAH!"
