Chapter 1167: Sweets Date Interruption

I got one of the locals to give me the location of one of the popular cafes around here and immediately took Katsuki with me to visit it.

It didn’t disappoint as the place had a cozy atmosphere and the smell of the sweets wafting through the air was already enough to make my mouth water.

Thankfully, there were still seats so I quickly got Katsuki and I seated before ordering everything I wanted for both myself and Katsuki.

“Mistress… I think… This is a little too much…”

I tilted my head while seated beside her, “Really? I think what I ordered for you isn’t even a fraction of what I usually eat though?”

Since I basically ordered everything they had for myself, I was not worried about Katsuki having sweets that I didn’t have. Otherwise… Katsuki might insist that I eat her share just to get out of eating with me.

Once everything was laid out, I clasped my hands together, “Shall we begin, Katsuki?”

“In that case, won’t you feed me?”

She started with the cake that was already in front of me and cut a bite of it before bringing it up to my lips.

That was when one of the men stepped out from behind them and I recognised that it was the same guy who had tried to cut me down when the prime minister’s son had bumped into me.

He immediately pointed his finger at me, “That’s her. She’s the one who tried to attack both the young master and I. If it wasn’t because I acted quickly and fought her off, both the young master and I might have perished!”

I blinked at him, wondering just what kind of drugs was he smoking for him to even have that memory of what obviously didn’t happen.

The guy leading the group, a middle aged looking Inugami, drew his sword and held it against his side before pointing at me.

“You… You are under arrest for the crime of attacking the family of the prime minister. Come quietly with us or we will resort to force.”

I frowned at him, “Wait a minute, I didn’t attack him at all! He had run into me accidentally and I even made sure he was ok and healed him! You can ask the boy!”

“That is not what was reported. I will give you only one warning. Surrender and come with us or we will take you in by force.”

“There were witnesses! You can ask anyone that was there! They will back me up on this!”
