Chapter 806: Chapter 805: Mommy Is a Big Dummy (5)
Damian Sinclair finally lifted his eyelids at the words, looking at the newcomer, "Didn’t you go abroad?"
"Yeah, just got back yesterday. Saw you from outside, thought I was mistaken, didn’t expect to see you dining at a place like this." Cecilia Lynch walked over as if they were very familiar, intending to sit next to Damian Sinclair.
Before she could make it over, the little girl had quickly moved from the opposite seat, climbed up next to Damian Sinclair, and occupied the spot.
Cecilia Lynch paused, glanced at the little girl, walked to the seat opposite, and asked with a smile, "Damian, is this your cousin’s child?"
"No." Damian Sinclair handed the milk to the little girl, not even looking at Cecilia Lynch, and said indifferently, "This is my daughter."
Cecilia Lynch’s expression clearly stiffened.
The little girl lifted her face, smiling sweetly, "Auntie, this is my daddy. Are you my daddy’s friend?"
Cecilia Lynch was fashionably dressed and not only well-maintained but also quite young. With some makeup, she could easily pass as a student if not for her less innocent gaze.
Yet, the little charmer, who usually knew exactly how to sweet-talk people, directly called her "auntie," which drove Cecilia Lynch crazy, but she didn’t dare to show any displeasure in front of Damian Sinclair.
Cecilia Lynch forced a smile, pretending to be particularly friendly as she asked, "Little sister, what’s your name?"
"Mommy said I can’t easily tell a strange auntie my name, or the strange auntie might take me away." The little girl said very earnestly, then turned her head to seriously ask Damian Sinclair’s opinion, "Daddy, is mommy right?"
"Yeah, mommy is right." Damian Sinclair could clearly see that the little girl was intentionally excluding Cecilia Lynch, a hint of amusement flashing in his eyes as he wiped a smudge of ketchup from her mouth with his finger.
Cecilia Lynch was so angry she was grinding her teeth, yet she had no choice but to maintain a smile and say, "Little sister, big sister isn’t a bad person. I’m your daddy’s good friend."
"Daddy’s good friend?" The little girl, munching on fries, tilted her head to look at Damian Sinclair beside her, then shook her head.
"What’s wrong? You don’t believe me?" Cecilia Lynch’s hands under the table were clenched tightly, her smile almost ready to collapse.
"No, I don’t believe it." The little girl nodded solemnly, with a very serious and sacred look, "Daddy should be like me, only like pretty big sisters, not aunties. So, daddy and auntie definitely aren’t good friends."
Cecilia Lynch almost spat out a mouthful of old blood.
This little brat dared to outright say she’s not good-looking and kept calling her "auntie" over and over, it was driving her insane!
She wondered who this little brat’s mother was, to raise such a rude child; likely not a decent person themselves.
But one thing she knew for sure.
Damian had a car accident five years ago and was bedridden for three years, even if he woke up and found a woman to marry, it was impossible for him to have a daughter this big.
So this little brat could only be his goddaughter; she just didn’t know who the little brat’s parents were or if they had any significance.
Cecilia Lynch maintained the smile on her face, holding back a mouthful of frustrated old blood, and said, "Little sister, big sister and your dad grew up together from childhood, doesn’t that count as good friends?"
"No."
