"That might not be possible." Bella replied, "It’s Ethan’s first performance today, I specifically took leave to come back, just for one day. I have to return to the set this afternoon."

"Filming a new movie?" Aunt Rhodes was stunned for a moment, then realized Bella’s earlier words of coming back were just pleasantries.

She couldn’t help but feel a bit of sadness in her heart.

Bella was worried that not contacting her would sadden her, so she had lied intentionally, hadn’t she?

"Yes. The studio has contacted me for a new TV series, and shooting has just begun." Bella checked the time and said, "Aunt Rhodes, you and Bonnie come with me to have lunch."

Bella parted ways with Aunt Rhodes and Bonnie and went to the restaurant to find Damian and the others.

The waiter led Bella into the private room, and the little girl was the first to speak, "Mommy, why didn’t you invite that Aunt and Brother for lunch?"

"They have things to do." Bella sat down beside the little girl and said, "Talia, they’re not Aunt and Brother, they’re Grandma and Uncle, understand?"

"Grandma? Uncle?" The little girl had only heard Mommy mention Grandma here before, it was the first time she knew there was also a Grandma and Uncle.
