"Director Rowe, Mr. Sinclair and I are just ordinary friends. If such photos circulate, there will inevitably be some consequences." Bella Acker held her wine glass and suddenly smiled, "Besides, I don’t believe I can’t rely on my own abilities to forge a path in the entertainment industry. I still have that confidence now."

"Haha, I understand." Director Rowe chuckled, "Actually, I also agree that actors should focus on acting and let their talent speak for itself, instead of messing around with all that shady stuff that ruins the ethos of our entire entertainment industry."

Bella Acker smiled, "Thank you, Director Rowe, for thinking so much about me. Here’s to you." She raised her glass, "Oh, by the way, Director Rowe, I might need to take a leave on the 27th next month. My child is participating in a competition for the first time, and I want to cheer him on."

Clinking glasses, Bella Acker tilted her head back and finished the champagne in her glass.

"We can reschedule that, no problem."

Director Rowe also sipped his red wine, and the two continued to casually chat about other matters.

The gathering ended, everyone returned to the hotel, and the filming continued the next day.

After Rhonda’s bragging about her boyfriend that day, she didn’t approach Bella Acker alone again, and they peacefully continued shooting the film.

Some actors finished their roles and left the crew, while new actors joined, making for busy and hectic days of filming.

Eventually, it was the 27th.

Last night, Bella Acker worked on the night shoot until past 2:00 a.m., nearing 3:00 a.m. Because she worried that sleeping might cause her to miss Ethan’s music salon performance, she simply decided to drive directly back to Creston with Judy Zimmerman.

The two took turns driving, with one sleeping while the other drove, finally reaching Creston around 8:00 a.m.

Entering the city, they hit the 8:00 a.m. morning rush hour traffic, getting stuck for quite a distance, but ultimately arrived in the underground garage of the hotel where the music salon was held around 9:00 a.m.

"Piggy, help me find a suitable dress from the trunk, I’ll do my makeup first." Bella Acker took out her small makeup bag.

After all, it was Ethan’s first music salon participation, and she wanted to treat it seriously.

"Bella, how about this purple starlight gown?" Judy Zimmerman picked up a gown hanging there and asked, stretching her neck.

Bella Acker glanced back, "Good, I’ll wear this one."

She quickly finished her makeup, and to match the starlight gown, she intentionally styled her hair loosely, and curled the strands falling onto her ears slightly with a curling iron.

Having tidied everything up, she asked, "Piggy, does this look okay?"

"Looks like you’re heading to the red carpet," Judy Zimmerman joked.

"It’s Ethan’s first performance, I need to take it seriously and give him a bit more confidence." Bella Acker smiled, finally opening the car door and getting out.

Judy Zimmerman followed suit, half-jokingly, half-seriously said, "Bella, even though I’ve lived with you almost every day for the past few years, seeing you like this now makes me feel like you’ve gotten cosmetic surgery. What would others think?"

"Are there not enough reports about actresses getting cosmetic surgery online? I don’t care about those," Bella Acker barely goes on Weibo and wouldn’t pay mind to what online trolls say.

"Who’s making our Bella prettier every day, they’re jealous beyond belief."

Bella Acker laughed, and the two of them took the elevator upstairs, following the signs along the corridor.

"Mommy, we’re here!"
