Villainous Family Young Master: My Life is Over
Volume 3: Chapter 8 - Elize Yud Eurazania Vs Love God Cult
(Elise's Perspective)
Among all the affected people, only one person remained unaffected.
That was me!
I stood in front of everyone, my golden hair flowing wildly in the wind and three fox tails swayed behind my back.
The crimson mist surged toward her again and again, but every time it approached my body, a faint golden light covered her body.
The small ancient bell hanging on my fingers, trembled slightly.
Seeing this, the black-robed cultist's smile became even more distorted.
"As expected of the Beast Lord Bell. Even the corruption of the Love God cannot affect you directly."
I glanced at the bell at my fingers then looked at the passengers behind her. Unlike myself, the others were not protected by the Beast Lord Bell.
Seeing this, my expression darkened.
I hadn't expected these cultists to have already prepared a Sacrifice Magic Circle.
This meant that this action against me wasn't incidental but premeditated? They had long since prepared the Magic circle for sacrifice.
Who exactly was targetting me? Or rather who calculated against me?
No one other than my Mother and Uncle Henric should know about my escape from the Beastmen Kingdom.
And even if they know, they shouldn't be able to accurately track me to Antasia Empire because I had used the Beast Lord's Bell.
Though myriad thoughts passed through my mind, now wasn't the time to think about who was behind this.
The crimson mist had already reached the passengers.
Their eyes had became cloudy, their bodies trembled, and their vitality was being drawn into the huge red magic circle beneath the train.
I raised my hand and a blue magic circle covered the surrounding. Though it wasn't as large as the sacrifice array, it still covered the entire train.
As the water Elemental Spirits gathered, a layer of blue-white ice rushed across the broken floor and sealed the crimson mist rising from the magic circle.
Then golden magic followed behind the blue magic circle, releasing golden flames which swept over the frozen corruption, burning and purifying it.
For a moment, the passengers behind me regained a little clarity. But before their eyes could fully recover, more crimson mist surged out from the ground, making them return to their dull state.
Looking at this, my expression darkened.
It was useless. Even if I used ice to seal it and fire to burn it, I couldn't purify the entire circle while protecting everyone.

The black-robed cultist laughed, "Princess Elize, did you think you could erase the Love God's blessing so easily?"
By now, his aura had become significantly stronger from the start. The wound on his arm healed quickly, and the red patterns on his body became brighter.
Crimson light flowed into his body from the magic circle, carrying the vitality, soul power, life force, fate, fear, and despair of everyone trapped inside.
Even some of the cultists kneeling in the distance were being drained, but their faces remained intoxicated, as if being sacrificed was the greatest honor.
Looking at the change, I understood that this Magic circle was a Sacrifice to the Evil God which in turn gave this man power.
As long as the sacrifice continued, he would grow stronger with every passing breath.
In that case, we can't let him grow stronger.
Since, purifying the corruption was impossible then there was only one choice.
Kill the caster.
Once the caster died, the ritual would lose its core and collapse.
"Then I will kill you first."
The moment my voice fell, I rushed forward.
A trail of ice spread under my feet, and golden fire followed behind me like a burning tail.
"Fox Clan Royal Magic — Ice Prison."
"Fox Clan Royal Magic — Golden Spirit Fire.'
Ice rose from the broken floor and locked the cultist's legs then golden fire rushed toward his chest.
The black-robed cultist swung his magic sword.
Crimson light shattered the ice, then collided with the golden fire.
Boom!
The remaining carriage shook violently.
I appeared beside him and swept one tail toward his waist while another tail released ice spikes from behind.
The cultist blocked the tail with his sword and allowed the ice spikes that were about to pierce his back.
Blood splashed out.
But the next moment, red light flowed into his body and healed the wounds.
"Princess, you can't kill me. This is the blessing of my God. This is the love of my god. I am now far more stronger than before."
I frowned and attacked again.
The blue magic circle beneath my feet expanded first.
"Fox Clan Royal Magic — Ice Age."
Cold air spread across the broken carriage. Thick ice rose from the floor and freezing the cultist's body in place.
At the same time, a golden magic circle appeared above him once again
"Fox Clan Royal Magic — Golden Spirit Fire"
Golden flames descended like a waterfall, burning toward his head and shoulders.
The black-robed cultist raised his magic sword and released crimson magic, shattering the ice around his legs before blocking the golden fire above him.
But before he could move, thunder flashed.
"Fox Clan Royal Magic — Thunder Fang."
A streak of golden lightning pierced through the air and struck his chest.
Boom!
The black-robed cultist was blasted backward, his chest charred and his robe torn apart.
However, the red patterns on his skin became brighter and brighter and the wounds in his body healed rapidly.
"Fox Clan Royal Magic — Spirit Bind."
Before he could completely heal himself, invisible psychic force pressed down on his body, freezing his movements in an instant.
"Thunder Spear."
Golden lightning condensed into a sharp spear and pierced toward his head.
The black-robed cultist's eyes widened.
Crimson light erupted from his body, forcibly tearing apart the psychic restraint.
He tilted his head at the last moment.
The thunder spear grazed his face and tore away a corner of his shoulder.
Blood splashed out. But the next second, the sacrifice circle sent more power into him and his injuries healed quickly.
Tail shadows, ice blades, golden flames, purple thunder, green wind, and crimson sword light collided continuously above the ruined train.
At first, I still suppressed him. But the longer the battle continued, the more troublesome he became. His speed, magic power, vitality, everything was increasing rapidly.
After dozens of exchanges, his sword cut through my ice wall.
After a hundred exchanges, his crimson magic pierced my flame barrier.
After several hundred exchanges, I finally felt the pressure become completely different from the beginning.
The black-robed cultist suddenly stepped forward.
"Love God's Magic — Sacrificial Thorn."
A crimson thorn shot out from beneath my feet.
I froze it instantly, but another thorn pierced through the ice and cut across my arm.
Blood splashed and corruption spread. But the golden light shone again, purifying the corruption.
I froze away the injured area to avoid losing too much blood and my eyes became solemn as I stared at the cultist.
The cultist looked at me and said words which were very strange, "It's time to end this!"
