A gentle breeze drifted in through the slightly opened window, causing the white curtains to sway softly.

"Elize..."

I looked at the Golden Fox curled up in the bed and my expression became complicated.

From Reina and Aina, i already understood what happened to Elize and I also had my own guess about her.

This girl, she most likely fell unconscious because of the fight against the Evil God's Projection and reverted to her beast form because her injury was too severe.

But why did she save me?

This pain was reminded me of the injury i experienced after being rescued from the kidnapping incident.

Back then, I was also so weak, so helpless, with no strength to fight.

So what's the reason for this injury?

Normally, the Evil God's Pollution directly transforms humans into inhuman Cthulhu like Monsters. It doesn't cause any injury.

Could it be the aftermath between Elize and Evil God's Projection fight caused this injury?

Knock-knock!

A light knocking sounded from the door, attaching my attention.

When I turned my head, I saw the patch of head hair entering my vision once again.

"Good evening, Robert. How are you feeling?"

Reina walked in and placed a bowl of porridge on the table near the need and smiled towards me.

"Good Evening Reina. Thanks to you and Aina, I am feeling very good."

"Hm, your recovery is really quick. Here, this rice porridge is for you."
