(Back to Elize's Perspective)
The moment Robert completed his transformation, the entire world seemed to fall into silence.
His silver hair fluttered under the cold wind, and the pale blue crown above his head released an ancient and majestic light.
The next moment, his figure disappeared from the ruined trainbb
By the time I reacted, Robert had already appeared high above the sky, facing the enormous crimson eye that covered the sun.
The projection of the Love God looked down at him.
Countless arms, lips, flowers, chains, and masks stretched out from the crack in space. Each one carried enough corruption to twist the soul of ordinary people into madness.
But Robert only raised one hand.
The black mist around him spread upward like a silent night then, ice and snow bloomed in the sky.
Boom!
The first collision happened above the clouds.
The entire sky shook, space cracks spread outward, and the clouds within tens of thousands of kilometres were torn apart.
A terrifying wave of magic fluctuation swept down from above.
Even though I was standing on the ground, my body stiffened under that pressure and my breathing almost stopped.
This was the power of the Crowned One.
At the level of Crowned Ones, legends were no longer exaggerations.
They could pluck stars from the sky.
This novel's true home is a different platform. Support the author by finding it there.
They could step beyond the earth and roam freely through the starry sky.
They could cross oceans, tear open space, and look down on kingdoms that ordinary people spent their entire lives protecting.
Above the high heavens, Robert raised his hand again.
A pale blue light spread across the sky.
The crimson arms reaching out from the crack froze one after another, then shattered into ice dust.
Even though it didn't possess any vocal organs, the projection of the Love God roared soundlessly. Just hearing that corrupted voice made my soul tremble.
The huge crimson eye opened wider, and red light poured down like a waterfall.
Wherever the red light passed, space twisted.
Mountains in the distance cracked and the plains below sank slightly.
The magic train shook violently even though the battle was happening far above.
I raised the Beast Lord Bell and poured magic power into it.
A golden barrier covered my body, barely protecting me from the aftermath.
Even so, my hands and soul kept trembling.
This was only the aftershock. If that red light directly fell here, everyone below Crowned One would probably disappear without leaving ashes and tens of thousands of kilometres would become desolate regions.
Robert stood inside the red light yet the black mist around him did not scatter. Instead, it became deeper.
The crown above his head shone faintly, and the engraved sun, moon, stars, mountains, rivers, oceans, elves, dragons, fairies, and spirits seemed to come alive.
Then, an invisible authority descended, directly freezing the red light.
The crimson waterfall hanging from the sky stopped in midair, covered by a layer of thick ice.
Then Robert slowly closed his hand.
Crack!
The frozen red light shattered.
The entire sky was filled with falling blue fragments.
Each fragment looked beautiful, which made it difficult to believe this was an attack from an Evil God.
"So... So beautiful!"
Looking at this scene, I could help but feel mesmerized even though I knew that this was a terrifying battle which could easily destroy a large number of countries or even shatter the stars in the Heavens.
...
(Antasia Empire, Imperial Capital — Star Observation Tower)
An old man wearing a dark blue mage robe suddenly opened his eyes.
He was sitting beneath a huge astrolabe, surrounded by floating star maps and ancient magic instruments.
The moment the battle fluctuation spread across the sky, all the star maps shattered at the same time.
The old man's expression changed and he stood up abruptly and looked toward the distant plains.
"Crowned One? And an Evil God?"
A young mage beside him turned pale, looking at his teacher who was releasing a terrifying aura, "Teacher, what happened?"
The old man noticed his disciples plight and withdraw his aura but he did not answer immediately. His eyes reflected the distant sky.
There, one crimson light and one pale blue light were colliding beyond the clouds.
After a long silence, he whispered in a heavy voice, "An Evil God projection has descended."
The young mage almost lost his balance.
"Evil God projection?"
"And someone is fighting it."
"Who?"
"I don't know. But that aura... is beyond doubt that of someone who has worn the Crown."
"We need tell his majesty this news."
...
(Beast Kingdom, Heavenly Fox Palace)
Inside a palace built upon an ancient sacred tree, a beautiful woman with golden hair suddenly stopped.
She was wearing a white-gold royal dress, and nine golden fox tails swayed behind her.
The ministers below were still reporting something, but the moment her expression changed, everyone immediately fell silent.
"Your Majesty?"
The Fox Queen slowly turned her head and looked toward the direction of the Antasia Empire.
"Elize."
The Fox Queen raised her hand and a golden mirror appeared in front of her.
Inside the mirror, countless scenes flashed rapidly such as Mountains, Forests, Cities, Rivers, etc.
Finally, the image stopped on the plains of the Antasia Empire.
There, the sky had split open.
A crimson eye covered the sun.
And below that eye, a pale blue crown shone through the clouds.
"Crowned One..."
The ministers instantly became restless when they saw the scene in the mirror.
As top brass of the Royal Fox clan, they could recognise the level of the battle.
One old fox clan elder asked in shock, "Your Majesty, is Princess Elize there?"
The Fox Queen's gaze fell on the ruined magic train below the sky. Even across a vast distance, she could sense the bloodline aura of her daughter.
How could her daughter have escape the Beast Kingdom if she really wanted to stop her?
How could her daughter get the Beast Lord's Bell if she didn't wish for it.
It was merely a mother's indulgence of her daughter.
She also knew her daughter mainly wanted to go in order to look for a cure for her sister.
Although she had no hope because even Crowned Ones were powerless for the thing her daughter had encountered but even so, she wouldn't extinguish the hope of Elize.
It's just, she still had to nominally send her brother Henric to chase her daughter in order to make it look real.
However, she never expected her daughter would be where battle between a Crown and a Projection of an Evil God was taking place.
In that case, she can no longer allow her daughter to be willful.
"Prepare the teleportation altar for Antasia
"Your Majesty, the distance is too far. Even with the altar, it will take time to lock onto the princess's location."
"Then move faster. My daughter is under the gaze of an Evil God."
The Fox Queen's voice was calm, but everyone present felt a terrifying pressure descend.
...
(Dragon Island, Endless Sea)
A giant dragon sleeping beneath a volcano slowly opened one eye and the magma around it boiled violently.
"Crown fighting an Evil God... Interesting."
After a moment, the dragon closed its eye again.
"But it's not my territory."
...
(Holy Church, Central Sanctuary)
A white-haired Pope stood before a statue of the Goddess of Light. Behind him, stood many bishops and church members.
The statue, which had remained silent for hundreds of years, suddenly released a faint glow.
The Pope slowly opened his eyes.
"An Evil God has cast its gaze into the world."
"Your Holiness, should we send the Holy Knights?"
Hearing the voice of the bishop, the Pope looked toward the west.
After a long silence, he shook his head, "There is already a Crowned One there."
"A Crowned One?"
The bishops were shocked.
The Pope's expression was complicated.
"Yes and that Crowned One is not recorded in any records known to the Church."
...
It's unknown how many forces across the continent focused on this battlefield.
Antasia Empire, St. Freya Academy, Star Observation Tower, Beastmen Kingdom, Demon Kingdom, Dragon Island, Fairy Island, Elven Forest, etc.
Besides the forces on the Central Continent, even the Western Continent, Eastern Continent, and other Continents also sensed this battle across the vast ocean.
