Volume 2: Chapter 12 - The Curtain Drops

"Huff... Huff..."

Is this the end?

I looked at the monsters who were surrounding me and at the cultist who had walked out from behind the monsters.

Although the number of the monsters was now in single digits and the cultist was also heavily injured, they were no longer something I could fight.

My body was simply too injured and top exhausted. I no longer had any magic power left to fight.

But I can't accept this. I refuse to accept this.

My sister, my Elize Yud Eurazania's sister is still waiting for me. My mother and my family is waiting for me.

I can't fall here. I will never fall here.

I still have to find the Fairyland, I still have to...

My consciousness slowly blurred and I could hear the laughter of the Cultist.

"Hahaha, is this the most talented princess of the Beastmen Kingdom. As I said, you must become the Saint of the lord today."

The cultists was laughing wildly.

Slowly, I felt darkness covering my eyes.

But just then, a blinding light filled my dark consciousness and a message I appeared in my mind.

"Child, call my name? Call upon my true name?"

"Call upon the name covered by the ages, hidden by the years!"

"It's name is..."

For a moment, countless broken images flashed through my mind.

In a boundless ancient land, countless beasts kneeling beneath the sky.

A golden figure standing above all races and above that figure's head, was a ancient bell.

The bell was no longer as small as the one on my finger. Instead it was so huge that it eclipsed the Sun, Moon and the Stars. The starry sky shook beneath its might and the entire world seems to tremble from its aura.

Around that Bell, time and space has become chaotic, and just looking at it gave the feeling of looking at the entire universe.

I couldn't understand it and I couldn't describe it.

It was clearly only a bell, but it seemed to contain heaven and earth, stars and rivers, life and death, past and future.

The golden figure beneath it slowly lowered his head.

I couldn't see his face. But at that moment, I felt as if his gaze had crossed endless years and landed on me.

At the same time, the hidden name finally appeared in my mind.

My lips moved unconsciously on their own, chanting that name...

"Myraid Beast Chaos Bell (CHANDRAGHANTA)"

The moment the name fell, the sound of the Bell filled the entire world.

Ding! Ding! Ding! Ding! Ding! Ding!

My consciousness returned and the small bell flew out of my hand, ringing continuously in the air, releasing a majestic, vast, and boundless aura.

It slowly grew from its original size to a size which rivaled the Projection of the Evil God in the sky, releasing terrifying Magic Power, hanging between heaven and earth like an ancient sun.

Golden light flowed across its surface, and countless mysterious runes appeared one after another.

Golden ripples spread out from the Bell, directly wiping out the Sacrificial Magic Circle and turning the Corrupted Monsters into dust.

The cultist who was ready to finish me, also flew out, coughing blood, looking at the sky in disbelief.

"Impossible, how could it be so powerful?"

He refused to believe that there was anything in this world which could directly destroy the Sacrificial after the descent of the Evil God.

However, no matter how much he didn't want to believe, he had to believe it because this was reality.

Sometimes, reality is more absurd than a novel.

The black-robed cultist looked at the Gigantic Bell in the sky and his fanatical expression finally cracked.

For the first time, fear appeared on his face.

But he still raised his hand, in an attempt of final resistance. Gathering all of his remaining magic power, he cast his last magic.

"Love God's Magic — Heart of Thousand Petals!"

A huge blood-red flower bloomed behind him. Countless crimson petals swept across the sky and rushed toward me, each petal carrying dense corruption and destructive power.

But just then...

Ding—

Another Bell chime rang, golden ripples spread out, directly disintegrating this spell into nothingness.

The cultist froze hearing the bell chime and then his body shattering turning into finest particles, spreading through the Heaven and Earth.

Looking at this scene, I couldn't help but be shocked.

Was this the true power of the Beast Lord's Bell? Oh no, the Myraid Beast Chaos Bell (CHANDRAGHANTA)!!

Just as I was feeling ecstatic, a huge headache hit my mind and once again my mind went blank.

A message appeared in my simultaneously explaining my Spiritual Power was too weak to evoke the true power of the Bell and I will fall into coma for a long time next in order to recover my Spiritual Power.

From this message, I understood that I was about to fall into a long coma.

Before I lost consciousness, I looked at the sky one last time, only to see the Projection of the Evil God was slowly disappearing.

Its huge black body was covered in cracks, and countless golden rays of light pierced through it from inside out.

It roared unwillingly, but its roar no longer carried the previous pressure.

Then, beneath that collapsing projection, I saw a figure falling from the sky.

It was Robert. The black mist around his body has disappeared, his long silver hair had now returned to the previous short brown hair and his body was now covered in blood.

Looking at that figure, although I had only met him a few hours ago, I couldn't help but want to save him.

In this fight of life and death, I was safe, only because of that figure. If he hadn't blocked the Evil god's projection, I wouldn't be alive now.

Thinking of this, I wanted to mobilize my Magic Power to save him. But the fatigue from my body made it impossible for me to move.

No! No! No!

Move, move damn it!

I tried move but it was of no use.

In the end, I stared at the Bell which was slowly shrinking in the sky and prayed.

Please, please save him. He is the one who fought the Evil God. Please save him and take us away from this land.

Ding—

The Bell seemed to hear my prayer and a loud Bell Chime rang through the world once again.

The next moment, golden light filled the entire area, making it impossible for anyone to open their eyes.

When the golden light disappeared, the plain was now empty, with only broken train, monster limbs, cultists body, and aftermath of the battle remained to show that a terrifying battle had taken place here.
