Villainess Breaker: Raising Broken Beauties Against Destiny
Chapter 369: The Bait Finally Bites
Damian sighed and was about to close the System when his eyes drifted toward Cassandra, who was sleeping peacefully beside him.
A thought suddenly crossed his mind. "Wait a minute... now that the System finally revealed Foundation Grade, I wonder what Cassandra’s is."
His eyes narrowed as a grin slowly appeared on his face. "Hehe... let’s see just how ridiculous you are now, Cassandra."

Damian stared at the screen for several seconds in surprise. "Wow... to think her foundation is already Top Grade."
Then he remembered something Cassandra had told him earlier. "And she said her body is still being strengthened... which means her foundation could actually reach Supreme Grade before she breaks through."
Damian looked at Cassandra again, genuinely impressed. A Supreme Grade Foundation was basically the pinnacle of the pinnacle in this world, the kind of foundation possessed only by true chosen monsters.
Thinking about that, Damian suddenly chuckled. "Hehe... good. Really fucking good. If you break through to the King Realm with a Supreme Grade Foundation, I won’t need to handle shit myself."
Once Cassandra reached the King Realm with that kind of foundation, she would become terrifyingly strong.
That meant Damian had absolutely no reason to rush his own breakthrough.
Why struggle prematurely when he had a terrifying woman perfectly willing to handle troublesome enemies for him?
Damian snapped his fingers. "Perfect. Damian, you really are a fucking genius. As expected of you."
Meanwhile, Cassandra slowly opened her eyes, and the moment she saw the grin on Damian’s face, she immediately felt that something was wrong.
She glared at him. "Hey, what the hell are you thinking about? Why are you grinning like that?"
Damian froze, realizing that she had already woken up.
Cassandra slowly sat up and narrowed her eyes suspiciously. "Did you just plan something involving me while I was asleep?"
Damian immediately looked away. "What? Me? Never. How could I possibly be planning something bad?"
Cassandra’s eyes narrowed even further. "Damian... don’t act like I don’t know you."
Damian quickly coughed and changed his tone. "I was merely appreciating how amazing my woman really is..."
Silence.
Cassandra stared at him for another moment before a pleased smile slowly appeared. "Hehe... good answer."
Damian secretly sighed in relief.
---
Damian had barely finished sighing in relief when both he and Cassandra suddenly froze.
Their expressions changed at almost the exact same moment as two powerful auras entered the range of their spiritual senses.
Cassandra slowly stood from the bed, her crimson eyes sharpening. "Two people are approaching. Judging by their auras, they’re at least High Nascent Soul cultivators."
Damian’s laziness disappeared instantly as a grin spread across his face. "Hehehe... looks like our bait finally caught something."
Cassandra’s lips curled upward as well. "Hehe... about fucking time."
Not far from the temporary base, two figures, Corlan and Lenox, flew through the sky before gradually slowing down.
Corlan looked down at the relatively simple buildings surrounded by forest and frowned slightly. "This is where the Forbidden Immortal Harem is staying?"
Lenox glanced around carefully. "According to the information, yes."
Corlan raised an eyebrow. "Doesn’t look like much."
Lenox immediately gave him a warning look. "Don’t underestimate them because of that. Too many cultivators in this world enjoy pretending to be pigs before suddenly revealing themselves as tigers."
Corlan chuckled. "Fair enough."
The two descended toward the base, but before they could get much closer, they suddenly stopped.
Two figures had appeared directly in front of them.
The first was a woman wearing a crimson half-mask, her long blood-red hair drifting lightly in the wind. Beside her stood a man wearing a black dragon mask.
Neither Lenox nor Corlan had sensed them approaching. That fact alone was enough to make both men instantly more cautious.
Cassandra hovered calmly in front of them with her arms crossed, her crimson eyes moving between the two men.
She studied them for a moment before speaking. "Alright. Mind telling me who the hell you two are?"
Lenox and Corlan remained silent for a brief moment, but just as they were about to answer, Cassandra cut them off.
Her crimson eyes narrowed. "Actually, skip the introductions. Just tell me why you’re here. Are you here to fight, or do you want something else? Be clear."
Lenox quickly raised one hand. "No need for hostility. We came here to discuss some business."
Cassandra raised an eyebrow, and her grin softened slightly. "Business, huh? Well, that already sounds a lot more peaceful than usual."
She turned around casually and gestured toward the base. "Come on, then. Let’s hear what kind of business you two came all this way to discuss."
Lenox and Corlan exchanged brief glances before deciding to follow her.
A short distance away, a simple wooden table and several chairs had already been prepared outside.
Damian was sitting there comfortably with his black dragon mask still covering his face, one leg crossed over the other as if he had been waiting for them all along.
Cassandra landed beside Damian and casually took the chair at his side. "Master, they’re here to discuss business."
Damian looked toward the two newcomers and gestured toward the empty seats across from him. "Business, huh? Alright then. Have a seat."
Lenox and Corlan both felt the pressure coming from the masked man and exchanged cautious glances before silently sitting down.
Before either of them could speak, Damian leaned forward slightly. "So... what kind of business brings the two of you here?"
Then he grinned and jerked his thumb toward the base behind him. "Let me guess. This business wouldn’t happen to involve the Twin Keys currently staying under my roof, would it?"
Both Lenox and Corlan immediately froze, and seeing their expressions, Damian’s grin widened even further.
