Chapter 26: Fuck the Plan!

The rest of the day passed normally. Except for the fact that Lucien kept teasing Alicia and making her walk around wet the whole day.

After finishing the work for the day, Lucien once again made his way towards the Palermo Society.

The car reached the entrance of the Palermo Society but this time no one came forward to check the car or stop it.

The gate directly opened as soon as the car reached the entrance of the Society.

It was already 6:00 in the evening, Hannah should have already reached the home, but to make sure she was present at home and his visit was not wasted .

He had already made his people check on her location, and she was indeed at home.

Lucien’s car stopped in front of the same humble villa where Hannah lived.

He stepped out of the car and adjusted his clothes before ringing the door bell.

However unlike the last time, when Hannah asked who was on the door.

This time there was complete silence from inside.

’Is she not home? But I definitely checked through the sources that she had already reached home.’

’Wait! Is she avoiding me because of last time? Well that makes sense, even if she still loved me I was hasty with my actions.’

’Fuck! What if she truly starts to avoid me? She is too important to be ignored. I don’t think I have much time left as well.’

’Although the story started 2-3 years later in the original novel, because of my presence this time I am sure it will change. Especially after my last visit here, I am sure the protagonist must be already aware of the fact that I visited Hannah.’

The protagonist may not be as strong or rich as Lucien yet, but he has many loyal subordinates. There must be at least a few people who must be watching Hannah’s every move.

There are chances that he must have also planted his men in Lucien’s subordinates.

Lucien decided to ignore them for now because dealing with them suddenly will alert the protagonist.

Lucien has yet to conquer any women fully from the original harem of the protagonist.

If Lucien does something that forces the protagonist to his entry now, Lucien may end up losing his head start.

He can’t afford that just yet. He was not strong yet. Both physically and in the people around him.

He waited a few minutes before ringing the bell once more.

He can’t just leave now, especially when it’s such an important moment.

Finally after a few seconds which seemed like years in Lucien’s head, a meek soft voice came from the doorbell’s microphone.

"What are you doing here again?"

The owner of the voice was of course none other than Hannah herself.

In fact she was already standing at the door for the past few minutes.

She came to check the door when it rang the first time.

But when she saw the person in front of the door was none other than Lucien, she panicked.

The memories from last time flooded back in her mind.

A single interaction with him had left her overthinking everything about their marriage.

To the point where she even started to think that it was her fault that their marriage ended.

Which was of course not true if we ignore the part about the protagonist, even that was justifiable because of protagonist halo.

She didn’t want to meet him or see his face.

She couldn’t afford the feelings she started to feel once again.

So she decided to ignore the doorbell ringing. Thinking that he will return if she doesn’t open the door, especially considering his huge ego.

To her surprise it didn’t go as planned as she thought.

Not only did he not return back but he even waited for a few minutes and rang the door bell once again.

She even saw a hint of panic and sadness on his face when she didn’t open the door.

Her heart couldn’t help but melt seeing him like this for her. Just the thought that he was hurt by not seeing her made feel butterflies in her stomach.

Even then she just couldn’t open the door and go in front of him.

Especially when she was wearing such a ’dress’.

"What, I can’t come here anymore?"

Lucien was delighted when he heard her voice because although she may be a bit more careful around him now, at least she won’t avoid him anymore.

"Don’t play games, I have work to do. Just tell me why you are here."

Hannah still refused to allow him inside the house.

Unfortunately for her, Lucien was also very hell bent on going inside the house.

And when it comes to him, either you lose or he wins. There is no other choice.

"Oh... come on! I came here all the way from my company just to see you. I haven’t even gone home yet, I wanted to eat the food you made. You really wanna be so cruel to someone who makes so much effort to visit you?"

Lucien said in a sad voice while keeping his palm on his chest, right above his heart.

"Hmph... Then go back to your home. Your WIFE must be waiting for you. Go eat the food which is made by your personal 5 star chefs. You don’t need to eat the cooking of a woman like me."

"Come on! You are hurting me now. I just want to see you and eat food. And who said that you are bad at cooking?

There is literally no one on this planet that makes food better than you. You must remember the last time I came here, right? Didn’t you see me absolutely devour the food you made right in front of you?"

"Really? You are here just to eat my cooking and see me?"

Although she kept her voice casual the hint of happiness and excitement couldn’t be hidden from it.

"Of course, why else would I be here?"

"You promise to not do something like you did last time?"

’Heh! Just as I expected. She really avoided me because of last time. Guess I will have to be quiet for some time. At least until I gain her trust.’

"I don’t know what you are talking about. But I promise I won’t do it anymore."

Though he accepted her demand he didn’t agree to her accusations. He can’t just reveal his real intention just yet.

Finally a few seconds later, a soft click came from the door before it opened.

But when Lucien saw the view beyond the door, he couldn’t help but be stunned.

Even his little brother got excited and tried to break free from his clothes.

’Fuck the plan! I don’t think I will be able to hold back today.’
