The Confession Inside Mickey’s Funhouse

A magical melody emanated from inside, and Lina Ashford and Liza Voss stood at the door, saying in unison.

"Young Master Julian, how about you go in alone? We won’t go in."

Besides the music, there was a big screen inside playing a music video.

The constantly flashing images, exaggerated colors, and chaotic atmosphere assaulted every sense at once.

Because it was too eye-piercing, the two women didn’t really want to go in.

Julian looked back at them helplessly before shaking his head with a smile.

"Sigh, such a good place as Mickey’s Funhouse, and you can’t appreciate it. Well, I won’t force you. Wait for me at the door."

Julian D’Aurelius waved his hand with exaggerated disappointment before flashing the two women a carefree smile. In his eyes, there were some things ordinary people simply couldn’t appreciate.

Some art was too advanced for ordinary people.

Lina Ashford and Liza Voss exchanged helpless glances as Julian turned and walked toward the entrance alone. Neither woman had any intention of following him inside. They had only taken one look beyond the doorway before deciding they valued both their eyesight and sanity.

The heavy metal door slowly swung shut behind Julian.

The muffled music instantly became louder.

Inside Mickey’s Funhouse, flashing lights danced wildly across the walls while enormous speakers continued their relentless assault on anyone unfortunate enough to be trapped inside. The entire room had been specially modified. Soundproof walls kept the noise contained while amplifiers ensured there was absolutely no escape from the bizarre performance echoing through the building.

When he walked into Mickey’s Funhouse alone, the Black Ghost and White Ghost were locked in a cage, both looking a bit broken.

Neither of them resembled the fierce assassins they had once been.

Their clothes were wrinkled.

Their hair was messy.

Dark circles hung beneath their bloodshot eyes.

Even their expressions had become hollow.

They were driven to despair by the music video inside.

The giant screen hanging across the room continued replaying the same video over and over without mercy.

In the video, there was a wooden house with a bathtub inside.

Steam drifted lazily through the room, creating an almost dreamlike atmosphere.

In the bathtub sat a man with bronze skin.

The man was barely dressed, with red-dyed hair and a circle of white-dyed beard.

He bit his lip, striking poses in the bathtub.

Beside him, there were a few other men dressed similarly, dancing along.

Every movement was exaggerated.

Every expression was dramatic.

Combined with the colorful lighting and theatrical camera angles, the entire performance created an overwhelming sensory experience.

Two large speakers played a magical yet catchy rhythm.

The melody seemed harmless during the first listen.

By the tenth...

It became impossible to ignore.

By the hundredth...

It became psychological torture.

The Black Ghost and White Ghost, listening repeatedly, only remembered the lyrics "spicy girl" and "f**ker."

Those two phrases had become permanently engraved into their minds.

Even after closing their eyes, they could still hear the rhythm echoing inside their heads.

For someone with normal aesthetics, this scene was somewhat damaging to the eyes and ears.

Julian looked around the room with obvious satisfaction.

Everything was working exactly as intended.

Sometimes physical pain isn’t nearly as effective as attacking someone’s spirit.

A faint grin tugged at his lips.

Outside the room, neither Lina nor Liza reacted.

Only the two women silently heard Julian’s inner thought once again.

Neither of them understood why.

Julian himself remained completely unaware that his thoughts occasionally reached only their ears.

When Julian came in and closed the door, he started swaying to the music.

He even lightly tapped his fingers against his leg, following the beat with complete seriousness.

Seeing that relaxed expression nearly made Black Ghost cough up blood.

"Bastard, if you want to kill us, just do it. Why humiliate us like this?"

Seeing Julian enter, Black Ghost cursed.

His voice, however, lacked the strength it once possessed.

Every word sounded hoarse.

His body had weakened considerably over the past several days.

However, his voice was obviously weak because he hadn’t eaten much.

Back when Julian locked him up.

He specifically asked what his favorite dish was.

And promised to meet his food needs according to his request.

Thinking this person had some bottom line, he said he liked Wellington steak.

Then Julian indeed had someone make Wellington steak for him every day.

The aroma alone was enough to drive anyone insane.

Golden pastry.

Juicy beef.

The rich fragrance filled the entire room.

But the chef was too particular.

After cooking, he would taste it himself.

After tasting, the chef would regretfully shake his head, saying the steak wasn’t perfectly exquisite.

"If served to a guest, it would be disrespectful, and Young Master Julian would fire me."

Those words had become Black Ghost’s daily nightmare.

So that damn chef ate his favorite steak right in front of him.

Every.

Single.

Day.

The chef even chewed slowly while praising his own craftsmanship.

Of course, to prevent him from starving, the chef left him some boiled broccoli.

A tiny pile.

Barely enough for an ordinary child.

This stuff wasn’t even enough to fill the gaps between his teeth, let alone for an Old Martial Arts expert like him.

Especially when his body was suffering from comminuted fractures and needed nutrition.

Remembering those miserable meals made Black Ghost’s eye twitch violently.

"Sigh, can you have some decency?"

Hearing Black Ghost’s foul language, Julian expressed dissatisfaction.

He folded his arms and shook his head as though he were the reasonable one in the conversation.

"Decency your ass, you bastard son of a b*tch."

White Ghost also started cursing, even spitting at Julian.

After all, they were at death’s door.

He was already fearless!

Julian quickly sidestepped.

The saliva landed harmlessly on the floor.

He looked genuinely surprised.

"Whoa, you like spitting, huh? Fine, I’ll let you spit at your big brother."

"What do you mean?"

White Ghost immediately sensed something was wrong.

An uneasy feeling spread through his heart.

Julian chuckled, opened the cell door, and took out a glass bottle filled with clear liquid from his pocket.

The transparent liquid shimmered beneath the lights.

Without giving White Ghost time to react, Julian grabbed his jaw, forced his mouth open, and poured the contents straight down his throat.

White Ghost struggled violently.

But with his injuries, resistance was meaningless.
