Chapter 1701: I Love The After Party

Villain Ch 1701. I Love The After Party

Three others flanked them—buffed and geared to the teeth. One in glowing crimson plate was Warlord. Another hovering with levitating books was Spellweaver_83.

But it was the last figure that made Allen pause.

A priest.

With white robes, golden trim, and soft, hesitant movements. His staff was half-raised, but his expression was anything but aggressive.

Father^Alex.

Larissa bared her fangs. “Tch. Rats.”

“Should we kill them all?” Vivian asked sweetly, cracking her whip like she was stretching.

“Of course,” Allen said calmly, eyes fixed on Arcana. “What else?”

Arcana pointed his sword at Allen’s chest. “Devil Emperor. All of you. This ends now.”

Allen took a breath.

Then smiled.

“I really hate weddings.”

He lifted his sword.

“But I love the afterparty.”

The first strike came fast—Azura.

She didn’t wait for a signal. Didn’t blink. Just moved, her dual daggers slicing through the air like twin shadows. Allen caught the gleam of her boots skimming the ground before she vanished in a blink step and reappeared behind him.

He turned, catching her left dagger with his blade.

-CLANG!

She didn’t stop.

Her right dagger followed instantly, aiming for his throat in a precise arc, but Allen tilted his head with a calm breath, letting the blade miss by centimeters. Her movement was surgical—almost beautiful—but she wasn’t the only one who could dance.

“Eager, aren’t you?” Allen murmured.

Azura didn’t answer. She didn’t need to. Her blades spoke for her, and they screamed murder.

Her strikes were relentless—one cut turned into three, three into nine. A storm of obsidian flashes. She pressed him hard, feet gliding over the broken field like she belonged to it. But Allen never faltered.

His blade moved with lazy grace, countering every swipe like a man swatting flies with a silver fan. He wasn’t even trying to kill her—just… play with her.

She knew it too. And it pissed her off.

She twisted low, flipping her daggers in reverse grip and lunging toward his ribs. Allen parried one, sidestepped the other, then let her momentum carry her past him. He tapped the flat of his blade against her hip on the way out.

“Too slow,” he said smoothly.

Azura vanished again, blinking into shadow.

Meanwhile, the rest of the battlefield erupted.

“Take out the priest first!” Larissa yelled.

Vivian grinned, already casting. “Gladly.”

She twirled once, crimson heels digging into the ground, and slammed her whip to the earth.

“Call of Desire!”

A red sigil flared under her.

Succubi erupted from the ground like dancers from a hellish stage—claws, silk, and fangs. Three of them made a beeline straight for Father^Alex, who tried to scramble behind Arcana.

“I don’t want to be seduced!” he cried, voice cracking in panic.

“That’s what makes it fun!” one of the summoned succubi purred, licking her lips.

Arcana slashed through two with a radiant burst, but the third wrapped her arms around Alex and kissed his cheek.

“Buffering!” Alex yelped, trying to cast a cleanse.

But it was too late—charm debuff applied.

“Focus!” Arcana shouted, eyes blazing as he launched himself into battle, sword glowing with divine judgment.

Zoe blocked him with a Hydro Lance, followed by a Depths’ Grasp from the ground that nearly caught his ankle.

Jane raised her hands. “Bone wall—left side!”

A barrier shot up, cutting off Warlord from flanking.

Shea flew overhead, raining blade feathers onto the player from Blue Archive. “Let’s see how well your books tank feathers, nerd!”

“Ahh! Those hurt!” Spellweaver_83 yelped, frantically throwing a shield over himself.

Bella launched a Fireball into the ground near their healer, forcing another dodge. “Should we cook him or chill him first?”

“Chill,” Alice said. “I want him panicked.”

She flung a Void Sphere mid-sentence. It caught two of the backup players in its gravity swirl, yanking them in and detonating a second later in a burst of black energy and whispered curses.

Allen, meanwhile, was still playing with Azura.

She reappeared behind him again, blades spinning.

He parried.

She flicked blood from one edge and lunged again.

He leaned away.

Her breath was tight. Her eyes sharper than steel.

“Stop toying with me,” she hissed.

“You’re not ready,” Allen said softly.

Then he blurred forward.

Their blades clashed in a flurry—his heavy, singular, deliberate; hers frantic, surgical, desperate.

He twisted suddenly and let her left dagger graze his coat—but not his skin. In return, his blade nicked her shoulder.

Not a wound.

A warning.

Azura blinked, stepping back, biting her lip.

He just tilted his head.

“I could kill you now,” Allen said. “I’m not. Ask yourself why.”

“I don’t care,” she snapped.

But she did.

She charged again.

Allen activated Void Mirage.

His image split—one kept dueling her, the other moved like a ghost to the side. She lunged at the illusion, struck through it, and—

-Boom!

It detonated.

Azura was flung back, rolling, tumbling across the field. She rose fast—but now her cheek was bleeding. Her breath came hard. Her chest heaved.

Allen adjusted his grip. “You’re quick. But not faster than me.”

“You think you’re invincible?” she spat.

“No,” he said. “I just know how not to lose.”

Behind them, Vivian and Jane were closing in on Alex.

Alex screamed again, trapped in a charm loop—his holy aura flickering like a bugged halo. His staff kept glowing.

“Damn it! I can’t dispel it fast enough!” he called out, voice tight but steady. “My cleanse cooldown’s too long—I’m stuck in a rotation loop—”

Even now, while charmed and cornered, he was still one of the cleanest healers in the game. Buffs. Shields. Strategic micro-heals.

The moment Vivian’s charm lapsed even slightly, he snapped into action, hitting Arcana and Warlord with perfectly-timed barriers and AoE mends that kept their lines standing longer than they should’ve.

But it made him a bigger target.

“Poor thing,” Larissa cooed, stepping in close with glowing crimson eyes, her fingers crackling with blood magic. “You scratched the Emperor. Did you really think we’d let that go?”
