Chapter 91: You Took Everything From Me!

While Ray and Belva were busy exploring ahead, Margaret finally arrived at the auditorium.

"Where have you been?"

"We thought you had forgotten about the ceremony."

The nearby professors greeted her and asked in concern.

After all, she had made some big policy changes this semester, and it would be unwise for either of them to do the speech instead of her.

"Come with me," Margaret said to them with a somewhat serious tone.

The instant they heard the tone, the professors’ expressions changed slightly.

The last time they heard such a tone was when she discovered someone had targeted her protege.

They glanced at each other and shrank their necks.

"Did something happen to her protege again?" Louis whispered softly.

"I don’t know, but I definitely don’t like the sound of that." Hewes sweated lightly.

"Tell me about it. The last time I heard that, hell rained down on us."

"Ugh, don’t remind me of that."

A few seconds later, these two and the other professors followed closely behind.

"Principal, a word." Margaret directly interrupted his conversation with the other sponsors.

When the sponsors noticed who the person was, they quickly withheld their dissatisfaction.

Margaret’s aloofness was known by many.

And they definitely didn’t want to get on her bad side. Her influence was enough to command the Magic Tower to cut off their supplies.

"What’s the matter?" Leon excused himself from the sponsors and walked toward her.

Margaret activated a sound barrier, an action that surprised Leon.

His expression gradually turned solemn.

He knew very well that Margaret wasn’t the type to play a prank.

"Apologies for my behavior." Leon quickly cleared his throat and turned to the sponsors.

The sponsor naturally responded in understanding and told him not to worry.

They weren’t stupid either. Just that small mana leak residual alone proved that something serious must have occurred.

Who would dare to step forward or stop him at this time?

Even Elsa had to pacify the sponsors and told them that they could use this opportunity to advertise first.

’What really happened?’ Elsa was concerned, but because Leon showed no intention of clarifying the situation, it made everyone understand that this wasn’t anything light.

While Leon decided to head to the underground with Margaret to check on the situation, back on the underground, Ray and Belva were still investigating.

Amidst their investigation, a dagger suddenly flew toward Ray.

CLANK!

Lancelot immediately deflected the small dagger with his long black sword.

"Who?" Belva also quickly responded and launched consecutive spells toward the direction of the dagger.

BOOOM!

The spells collided with the wall, but they landed on nothing.

Instead, two figures soon emerged in the open.

They were both wearing the Crestellan Academy uniform.

"Freshmen?" Belva raised an eyebrow in confusion.

"Hmph, you were so lucky." One of them suddenly sneered, their gaze locked on Ray.

"You thought you were slick at the arena section, right? How about now? Do you still dare to fight me again? You took everything from me!" They continued their taunt and rage.

Meanwhile, Ray glanced at them and tilted his head.

"I don’t even know who you are." He replied flatly.

If anyone got the reference to this line from one of the most popular movies, Ray would give them props for watching peak.

Of course, this student was pitiful and missed peak, so they failed to comprehend his line deeply.

After all, the line was meant for one of the witch goddesses whom Ray had a crush on.

Yes, he got a crush on many, but crush and love interest were two different aspects.

Don’t get them mixed up!

"How dare you not know me!"

Sure enough, the student was enraged by the humiliating reply from Ray.

"I’m not into men, so why the fuck would I know who you are?" Ray snapped.

Like Jesus Christ, these people need to give him a damn break with all these admirations from the same gender.

Where was the admiration from the opposite gender?

"Young Master, he’s one of the students who participated in the bet and lost from the rebound spells you caused," Belva whispered to him softly.

"Ah, you mean one of those side characters whose names won’t even be mentioned because of how insignificant they are?" Ray said it aloud.

The atmosphere almost descended into complete silence.

His ragebaiting mechanism was almost top-notch. Hell, Belva dared to say that if he claimed number two, nobody would dare to claim number one in terms of ragebaiting.

"Oh, you will remember me, alright!" The student gnashed their teeth angrily.

"My name is [Redacted]!"

"Sorry, no interest." Ray covered both of his ears with his hand.

He wouldn’t be foolish to give the other person a chance to speak of their name.

Let them remain unknown and receive zero plot armor device or escape tool later on.

He wasn’t planning on letting them live anyway because that dagger was intended to kill him had it not been for Lancelot’s protection.

"Belva, can you take care of the other nobody? Make it quick. I don’t need any survivors." Ray pointed at the other student who was keeping a close watch on Lancelot.

"On it!" Belva’s eyes glinted in a cold light. She blinked away from her position and closed the gap between them.

"Tsk!" The other student didn’t anticipate Belva’s killing intent to be so aggressive.

Wasn’t she just a former student who didn’t even get to reach the military section yet?

Just how was she so proficient in making a series of killing moves?

"Lancelot, assist Belva too. No need to care for the surrounding damage. I’ll just pin the blame on them anyway." Ray commanded.
