Chapter 2474 - 2474: Dragged into the Water Cave (Second Update)

Ye Qing squeezed into the cave, naturally slowing his pace. The leading Water Grass Giant was very fast, and several strands of grass quickly rushed ahead to wrap around Ye Qing's ankles.

As panic surged within him, another strand of grass wrapped around, securing Ye Qing's other wrist. At this point, Ye Qing's hands were tightly bound, making resistance impossible. The surrounding water grasses surged like a tide, completely wrapping up Ye Qing, who was now like a bundled rice dumpling, utterly powerless.

Several Water Grass Giants saw this and their expressions turned excited, rushing over and wrapping Ye Qing with their grasses. Circle after circle, soon Ye Qing was enveloped, creating an impenetrable circle of grass from a distance.

The leading Water Grass Giant seemed perplexed, swimming over and circling Ye Qing before discovering the Mysterious Iron Chains tangled among the grass. Part of the chain was caught within the grass, rendering itself taut and immovable, causing the pull resistance.

The leading Water Grass Giant paid little attention, grabbing a Famed Instrument from a nearby underling, and hacked at the chains with force. Fortunately, the cave was spacious enough to accommodate the large bodies of the Water Grass Giants as they entered. The Mysterious Iron Chains dragged Ye Qing and the Giants through a long cave, into a roomy Underground Reservoir, and then swiftly upward, breaking through the surface.

The Water Grass Giants were frantically trying to remove the water grass from Ye Qing, yet in their panic, they tangled further. It seemed impossible to untangle as they were dragged toward a cave beside the reservoir.

As they broke the surface, Ye Qing seized the opportunity to take several deep breaths, feeling as though reborn. The water grass binding him was also diminishing, and his eyes could finally discern the surroundings.

They drew closer to the cave. The Water Grass Giants were desperately trying to untangle the water grass, but their speed was too slow. Meanwhile, the Mysterious Iron Chains accelerated, hauling them ashore, directly into the cave.

Ye Qing felt relieved once on land. In the water, he couldn't match the Water Grass Giants, but on land, things were different.

Yet, the Water Grass Giants seemed nearly frantic. They appeared terrified of being on the land, futilely struggling, unable to change anything. The more chaotic they became, the more tangled the water grass grew, rendering them helpless as they were dragged into the cave.

Ye Qing freed his hands, using the Scabbard of The Ancestor of Miao Dao to slice away some water grass binding him, standing upright. He first jumped down from the chains, moving to one side, before following them into the cave.

The chains pulling them inside indicated something must exist within the cave; he was determined to uncover what it was.

The cave wasn't large, yet the path was littered with water, as if it had just been flooded, appearing exceptionally odd. Ye Qing ran through the cave, covering a distance of over one hundred meters before finally entering a wide cave space.

This cave covered about five or six acres, with a height of around twenty or thirty meters, offering considerable space. At the center lay a gigantic pit, which was actually a water-filled basin, where the chains extended into the water.
