Chapter 429: Plotting Against Li Fuzhen

Li Fuzhen and Luo Yuqing had known each other for a long time. They had collaborated on many occasions and were on fairly good terms.

They were both ambitious people, so it was no surprise that they had discussed such things before and had their share of secret dealings.

However, Yang Xiaofei and Li Yanxian were both curious. What was the relationship between those two and Wang Chenning? Were they also after his good looks?

Neither Yang Xiaofei nor Li Yanxian was strongly opposed to becoming "sisters" with each other, but they were unwilling to share him with Luo Yuqing and Li Fuzhen, who were a generation older than them.

If that were to happen, they felt it would be a huge grievance and would completely devalue them!

It was just something they couldn't say out loud.

After listening to what Li Fuzhen and Luo Yuqing had said, Wang Chenning also revealed the plan he had discussed with them.

His ambition was immense. He didn't just want to influence South Korea and Japan; he also wanted to expand into South Asia, Europe, Central Asia, America, and Australia.

Many places abroad are vast and sparsely populated; securing a piece of territory wouldn't be difficult.

The hard part was establishing your own power base and gaining significant influence in that place.

Wang Chenning's strategy was to pave the way with money, buying off and winning over a group of influential individuals. Then, he would insert his own people and gradually grow his influence.

"We'll draw up a detailed plan for each region!" After laying out his vision, Wang Chenning said with a smile, "Sister Li and Yanxian, you take South Korea. We already have a rough outline for it, and it'll be the easiest to implement. The rest of you can each claim a region you feel you're most familiar with, but don't get any ideas about China. We all understand why. Enough said!"

"I'll draw up the plan for Europe. I travel there often for business, I went to university there, and I have many friends!" Yang Xiaofei, whom Wang Chenning had expected to remain silent, was the first to declare her choice. "I know quite a few members of European royalty. Once the plan is drafted, I'll go to Europe with you!"

"Deal!" Wang Chenning agreed without hesitation.

"Then I'll take a crack at South Asia!" Luo Yuqing said with a cunning smile. "I'm quite familiar with the situation in Lion Country and Malaysia, and I have many friends there. We can test the waters there first!"

"Doesn't this feel like we're the great powers of old, looking at a map and planning to carve up the world?" Wang Chenning laughed. "We're the very definition of 'fantastical thinking,' but people who don't think fantastically would never attempt such things. You have to have a dream, right? What if we actually succeed? And even if we don't, we'll still go down in the annals of history!"

Li Yanxian rolled her eyes at Wang Chenning. "So if you can't be eternally famous, you'll settle for being eternally infamous?"

"Not at all!" Wang Chenning shook his head. "Whatever happens, we can't be nailed to the pillar of shame in history. After all, history is written by the victors, so we have to be the victors! We'll start by properly managing one place. That way, if we're unlucky and fail, we'll at least have a sanctuary to fall back on!"

"Everyone go home and write your plans, and we'll exchange notes later!" Luo Yuqing clapped her hands. "The serious part is over. Now it's time for fun. I have to say, are the dancers on this boat a little too terrible? This isn't exciting at all! Why don't we go up there ourselves?"

"Yes!" Li Yanxian immediately chimed in.

Besides the staff, they were the only guests on the boat anyway. There was nothing wrong with sending the staff off to rest while they entertained themselves!

Soon, the staff members were shooed out. Wang Chenning locked the door, and the group began their private party.

Li Yanxian was a very skilled dancer, and Luo Yuqing wasn't bad either. Wang Chenning, on the other hand, was a monster—there was nothing he couldn't do.

After the three of them had been dancing on the stage for a while, Wang Chenning went and pulled Yang Xiaofei and Li Fuzhen onto it as well.

Yang Xiaofei was too dignified to join in at first, but after Wang Chenning pulled her along and made her jump around for a bit, she slowly started to get into the rhythm.

"You can't be so prim and proper all the time! When it's time to go wild, you go wild!" Luo Yuqing laughed heartily. "Besides, no one's watching. Don't worry about anyone making fun of you!"

Only after they had all danced until they were drenched in sweat did they finally sit back down to rest.

After all the commotion, everyone had loosened up considerably.

The conversation grew more chaotic.

After a little wine, Luo Yuqing pointed to the other women in the room. "Wang Chenning, let me ask you," she said, "are you afraid of the four of us?"

"Isn't the answer obvious?" Wang Chenning replied with a smirk. "Add a zero to that four, and then we'd be talking!"

Yang Xiaofei and Li Yanxian rolled their eyes at him, but they weren't truly annoyed.

They had never personally experienced Wang Chenning's "abilities," but they were secretly very curious about what he was truly capable of.

Li Fuzhen and Luo Yuqing, on the other hand, had a rough idea of how monstrous he was, but they were just as curious to find out the true extent of his capabilities!

However, it wasn't appropriate to discuss the topic in any more detail at the moment. Luo Yuqing could only subtly egg Wang Chenning on, suggesting that it was fine to be a little wild in one's youth.

Wang Chenning found himself liking Luo Yuqing's personality more and more.

He didn't care whether she was being insincere or genuinely meant it; either way, he just enjoyed being around people like her.

As she leaned against Wang Chenning, drinking, Luo Yuqing asked casually, "Should I bring Li Fuzhen to you tonight?"

Then she added, "That way, you and I can blackmail her in broad daylight!"
