The members of the Black Pig Tribe, having drunk fruit wine, were passed out in their wooden huts, snoring loudly. Su Nuannuan was no exception.

Her back was to Hei Feng, a smile gracing her lips. In her dream, she had seized the Salt Well Cave, annexed many surrounding tribes, expanded the Black Pig Tribe, and annihilated the Wolf Clan Tribe.

She had gouged out Su Luoluo’s eyes, broken her legs, and imprisoned her in a dungeon where Su Luoluo could only obediently scrub the beastman latrines, doing the hardest and most exhausting work.

Meanwhile, Fu Feng, Mo Xuan, Xiao Ye, Luan Ting, Nantu, and Xi Yi had finally seen reality for what it was—that Su Luoluo was hideous and couldn’t compare to her in any way. They were all fighting and begging to form a Contract Totem with her.

This was followed by the sound of things being kicked over outside—CRASH! BANG!—mixed with screams and commotion.

There was no way Hei Feng could tolerate someone coming after his female.

The Vulture Tribe’s leader dodged Hei Feng’s Bone Knife and said, "I don’t mean anything by it. I heard she knows how to purify salt. We just want to borrow her for a bit."

Hei Feng’s brow furrowed at his words. ’How do they know Nuannuan can purify salt?’

He glanced at his tribesmen. They had all been dead drunk last night; it was unlikely any of them had gone out and leaked the information.

Suppressing his doubts, Hei Feng tightened his grip on the Bone Knife and advanced on the Vulture leader again. "I don’t know what you’re talking about. Nuannuan is my female. How could she possibly be the one you’re looking for who can purify salt?"

"She’s not? That can’t be right. I’ve already had my men investigate. For hundreds of miles around, the only female from the Wolf Clan named Su Nuannuan is here in your Black Pig Tribe."

He gave Hei Feng a suspicious look, then gestured to a vulture beastman beside him. "Go check if their Su Nuannuan looks like the one in the drawing."

Hearing this, the vulture beastman walked toward the wooden hut.

Seeing him head for the hut, Hei Feng blocked his path with a sweep of his Ancient Blade. "Vulture, our Black Pig Tribe has no quarrel with you! Nuannuan is my female. Isn’t it going too far to barge into her room without so much as a word?"

The Vulture Tribe leader gave Hei Feng a sinister smile. "My dear Black Pig Leader, I have no designs on your female. But if she really does know how to purify salt, then I’m afraid I must have her today."

"Then let’s see if you have what it takes! Bring it on!" Seeing no room for compromise, Hei Feng swung his Bone Knife, and the two of them began to fight.

The Vulture Tribe leader was about Half-Fifth Rank. Although his Beast Rank wasn’t much different from Hei Feng’s, Hei Feng was not quite his match. The fight was incredibly difficult, and he struggled to break free.

Just then, another group arrived in the tribe—the Hyena Clan. Their leader swept a vicious gaze over the Black Pig Tribe and barked, "Which one of you is Su Nuannuan? You’re coming with me!"

The Black Pig Tribe was currently fighting the Vulture Tribe, so naturally, no one paid him any attention.

His eyes narrowed. Seeing that there was no female from the Wolf Clan among the fighting beastmen, he immediately waved to his subordinates. "Go! Search the huts! I want you to find the female named Su Nuannuan from the Beast Skin Paper, no matter what."

"Yes, leader!"

At his command, the Hyena Beastmen headed for the huts, kicking down the doors one by one.

Hei Feng watched in a panic as they brazenly stormed the huts looking for Su Nuannuan, but he was tied up dealing with the vulture beastman and couldn’t break away.

Inside, Su Nuannuan was lost in her sweet dream and didn’t want to wake up. But the crude sounds of fighting and the CRASHING of doors being kicked in forced her awake.

A Hyena Beastman kicked the door open. Seeing Su Nuannuan on the bed, he compared her to a drawing on a piece of beast skin, then grabbed her. "So you’re Su Nuannuan. You’re a lot uglier than on the Beast Skin Paper."

Su Nuannuan froze, immediately covering her face. ’Did the pearl powder on my face come off?’

A moment later, she secretly shook her head. ’Impossible. Before I went out yesterday, I specifically mixed the pearl powder with sticky leaf juice. Without water, it couldn’t have rubbed off so easily.’

This thought reassured her slightly, but a moment later, she grew confused again. "What beast skin drawing?"

She’d never had any dealings with this Hyena Clan, so why were these beastmen suddenly looking for her?

The Hyena Beastman ignored her and started dragging her outside.

Su Nuannuan tried to struggle and escape, but he was too strong; she couldn’t break free at all.

Seeing this, Su Nuannuan changed her tactics. She gently hooked her finger around the Hyena Beastman dragging her, her eyes turning sultry. "Sir Beastman, what’s the story with that Beast Paper drawing? Could you tell me about it?"

Beastmen loved this kind of gentle female, a tactic that had never failed Su Nuannuan. Since asking directly didn’t work, she decided to try seduction.

Who would have thought that the hyena would simply fling her hand away and grab her by the throat? "Cut the crap. I’m not falling for that. We Hyena Beastmen are loyal and we like the brave type. We’re not interested in vixens like you. Hurry up!"

Choked so suddenly, Su Nuannuan could barely breathe. She didn’t dare try anything else and could only follow obediently behind him out of the hut.

But before she could even cross the threshold, a Lion Beastman swung a punch at the Hyena Beastman. The hyena ducked, but Su Nuannuan didn’t react in time. The fist sailed over the hyena’s head and slammed into her, sending her flying into the door. Her head hit the door with a THUD! THUD! before she fell face-first to the ground, eating dirt.

And yet, that wasn’t the unluckiest part. Seeing the Lion Beastman trying to snatch his prize, the Hyena Beastman instantly went for a leg sweep. The lion simply picked up Su Nuannuan from the ground and used her as a shield to block the kick.

Su Nuannuan was still reeling, her face bruised and swollen, when she took another kick to the stomach.

She was getting beaten nearly flat between the two of them.

Just as the Lion Beastman finally gained the upper hand and lifted her up, some bird suddenly swooped down from the sky and snatched her away in its beak.

By now, she was seeing stars, her vision blurry and her head spinning.

However, this bird was a bit weak. It had only flown a few feet before the pursuing Lion Beastman struck its wing. Startled, the bird dropped her from mid-air.

Seeing the ground several meters below, Su Nuannuan’s face went pale with fright. A fall from this height would leave her dead or crippled.

The Hyena Beastman, who had been chasing them, managed to catch her. He cursed at the vulture, "You bastard! At least leave her alive! Who else are we going to get to purify salt?"

But he wasn’t much better. After catching her mid-air, he simply tossed her aside. Su Nuannuan slammed straight onto the ground, the impact on her stomach so jarring that she threw up bile.
