Ugly, Fat, and Vicious? My Five Beast Husbands Are Obsessed Anyway
Chapter 183 - 185: The Consequences of Ruining the Lecherous Snake’s Good Time
Chapter 183: Chapter 185: The Consequences of Ruining the Lecherous Snake’s Good Time
With so much going on day to day, Su Luoluo had never stopped to wonder who Xiao Ye’s Beast Father was.
Now that he had suddenly brought it up, she realized she knew very little about him.
Xiao Ye’s personality might be a bit domineering, but he was flawless in every other respect. She couldn’t imagine how a child without a father could grow up to be so exceptional, especially reaching a Level 5 Beast Rank.
Su Zhao had only reached the Third Stage of Beastification because Su Yang had supervised his training and taken him hunting every single day.
For someone to become so outstanding without a Father’s guidance was astounding. Su Luoluo couldn’t help but remark, "Your Mother must have been incredible."
In the Beast World Continent, females generally depended on Beastmen to survive. For his mother to raise Xiao Ye so exceptionally well without his father showed what a truly great female she must have been.
"She might have been a great female, but I’ve never met her either." A rare trace of uncertainty crept into Xiao Ye’s voice.
Su Luoluo froze at his words. ’What is wrong with me today?’ she thought. ’How could I misspeak twice in a row?’
Xiao Ye usually seemed so sharp-tongued; she never would have imagined that he was an orphan with no father or mother.
’How did he grow up, then?’
’Snake Beasts have to be hatched, don’t they?’
’Without anyone to incubate the egg, it would have been difficult for him to even be born!’
A flood of questions filled Su Luoluo’s mind, but she was afraid that asking them rashly would only bring up painful memories for him.
She pressed her lips together and decided not to ask, changing the subject instead. "Where are we going?"
Xiao Ye smiled, his eyes crinkling. "Nowhere in particular, just flying around. I’d found a Heavenly Pool, but you said there’s a plague spreading in other places, didn’t you? It’s not worth the risk."
Hearing this, Su Luoluo took a deep breath. Looking down at the miniature mountains and lakes below, her mood lifted considerably. She had been cooped up in the tribe for days; it felt different to get out for a bit.
Su Luoluo nodded. "This is nice, too."
Xiao Ye pointed to a distant mountain. "I used to go there a lot when I was little. After I hatched from my egg, I didn’t know anything, so I just wandered around looking for food and fun. The Yun Que Priests often told stories there, and I went to listen all the time."
Su Luoluo noticed he spoke about his childhood with a surprising optimism, so she followed his lead and continued the conversation. "So you hatched on your own?"
"I did. I was in that egg for a long time and nothing was happening, so I just chewed my way out."
"That’s amazing!"
"Of course. I’m exceptionally gifted. I had Level 1 Beast Ability the moment I hatched."
’Alright, then.’
’He seems quite confident. I was worried for nothing.’
After they talked for a while, Xiao Ye flew back. This time, however, he didn’t return to the small wooden cabin, but to the cave on the mountaintop where he used to live.
It had been a long time since she’d been here, but everything was just as she remembered. It felt surprisingly familiar.
Xiao Ye’s snake tail coiled around Su Luoluo as he buried his face in her shoulder and took a deep breath. "I’ve missed your scent so much."
Su Luoluo squirmed. "Let go of your tail. It’s too tight, I can’t breathe."
’This lecherous snake. The moment we’re in the cave, he goes into full rogue mode.’ His tail was wrapped tightly around her, his hands already roaming freely.
Xiao Ye chuckled. "This is just me collecting what I’m owed. You have no idea how many days it’s been since I last touched you."
Su Luoluo scoffed. Coming from anyone else, she might have believed it. But him? Not a chance.
The last time she was with Nantu, this guy had spent ages groping and fondling her, and he still had the nerve to say he hadn’t done anything.
Su Luoluo wasn’t about to indulge him. She jabbed her elbow into his stomach. "Let go. If something happens to the little one, don’t blame me."
"Only the little female in your belly could make me back down." Xiao Ye stroked Su Luoluo’s still-flat stomach before reluctantly loosening his grip.
As his tail released her, Su Luoluo instantly felt a wave of relief. But before she could even take a few deep breaths of fresh air, she was pushed down onto the ground.
Xiao Ye’s gaze was feverish as his hand glided down her body. In an instant, her Beast Skin Skirt was somehow gone.
Staring at her smooth skin, Xiao Ye’s voice took on a devilishly charming tone. "Not a single mark on you. Was the last one not skilled enough?"
Out of his line of sight, Su Luoluo rolled her eyes. ’He’s so full of himself.’
With that, he lowered his head to kiss her.
But just as their lips were about to touch, a voice called out from outside the cave. "Luoluo, are you in there?"
Su Luoluo started to get up, but Xiao Ye pressed her back down, leaning in to kiss her again. "Ignore him. Let’s continue."
He then flicked his hand toward the entrance, and a powerful gust of wind shot out, a clear warning to the person outside not to be a fool and ruin his fun.
When Su Luoluo heard no further sound from outside, she assumed it was nothing and didn’t try to get up again.
Outside the cave, however, the Wolf-eared Beastman scrambled back to his feet, panting, and shouted again, "Luoluo, I have something urgent to tell you!"
The cliff was incredibly steep; it had taken him a long time to climb it. If it weren’t for an emergency, he never would have wanted to climb up here and risk offending the Snake Beast.
After all, everyone in the tribe knew that of all her Beastman partners, Xiao Ye had the worst temper and was not to be trifled with.
Hearing this, Su Luoluo could no longer remain calm. She patted Xiao Ye’s chest, grabbed her Beast Clothes from the side, and put them on.
Seeing Su Luoluo put her Beast Clothes back on, Xiao Ye’s purple eyes flashed with rage. In an instant, he was outside the cave, his icy gaze piercing the Wolf-eared Beastman like a dagger. His voice was just as frigid.
"You’d better have a good reason for this. Otherwise, you can plan on spending the night at the bottom of this cliff enjoying the view!"
The Wolf-eared Beastman swallowed hard under that glare, but he forced himself to speak, his voice trembling. "I... I really do."
Once she was dressed, Su Luoluo walked out of the cave and called out, "Xiao Ye, let him finish."
At the sound of Su Luoluo’s voice, Xiao Ye’s murderous aura subsided, but he was still intimidating.
The Wolf-eared Beastman saw Su Luoluo and quickly shifted his gaze to her, stammering, "Luoluo, the leader is sick! He said it might be the plague and told us to come find you."
Hearing this, Su Luoluo’s expression grew grim. "How could he have suddenly caught the plague?"
"I-I don’t know. No one is sure, that’s why they sent for you to take a look."
Su Luoluo immediately looked at Xiao Ye. "Take me down. I need to go see my Father. If it’s true, the entire tribe is in trouble."
Xiao Ye couldn’t believe that the moment he had been waiting for so long had been ruined.
He knew it wasn’t anyone’s fault, but as they took to the air, he couldn’t stop himself from shooting a hateful glare at the messenger. "What’s your name? I remember you. You were the one who brought the news the last few times, too."
The Wolf-eared Beastman looked like he wanted to cry but had no tears left. "My name is ’Runs-Fast’."
For the first time in his life, he hated how fast he could run. It was because he was so swift that he was always the one sent to deliver messages, something he had always taken pride in.
But now, he had a feeling that being targeted by Xiao Ye meant his good days were over.
