After discovering Su Luoluo wasn’t in the outdoor kitchen, her Beastmen immediately set off to find her.

She wasn’t just looking after herself anymore; she had to be careful in every way.

Although her belly hadn’t started showing yet, a female carrying a cub always had more to worry about than one who wasn’t.

For example, if she encountered danger, she couldn’t just take off running. What if she ran too fast and had a miscarriage?

That was why the men were so anxious.

As for Luan Ting being missing from their group of six, none of them paid it any special attention.

There was a simple reason for this: Luan Ting had always been the busiest one among them.

He was often the last to arrive for meals.

Because he was often late and not always around Su Luoluo, it never occurred to any of them that she might be with Luan Ting.

The men went to Su Luoluo’s wooden cabin first. Seeing it was empty, they began searching elsewhere.

The Beastmen had keen senses of smell, but even after sniffing the air for a while, none of them could pick up Su Luoluo’s scent.

Although there was no sign of Su Luoluo, the Beast Marks on Mo Xuan, Xiao Ye, and Nantu, the three who had mated with her, showed no changes. This meant she was safe.

Tianze Mountain, where they lived, was quite large, so searching for her would take some time.

Splitting up would have been the most efficient way to search, but they all tacitly avoided suggesting it.

The reason was simple: everyone knew that whoever found Su Luoluo alone would get to spend time with her.

With no one to disturb them, they could do whatever they wanted.

All five men were harboring their own selfish thoughts, so the search turned into a group affair.

However, with the five of them searching together, their efficiency wasn’t necessarily any lower.

Because their Beast Ranks were all high, they could each take a few directions, and a quick scan was enough to determine if Su Luoluo was there.

So, all in all, it was about as efficient as one Beastman searching alone.

The men first went to the area where Su Luoluo usually foraged for vegetables, but after a thorough search, they found no trace of her.

They then checked several other places she frequented, but still found no sign of her.

Mo Xuan’s brow furrowed as they came up empty in several locations. "Where do you guys think a lone female could have gone? How have we been searching this long and still haven’t found her?"

Fu Feng was also puzzled. "I find it strange, too. Don’t tell me she went to the Salt Well or the Red Land?"

Xiao Ye shook his head. "That’s unlikely. Those places are quite far from the tribe. It’s not plausible for a lone female to get there on foot."

Nantu thought for a moment. "What if she’s inventing something again and wandered off too far?"

The others heard this and thought it made sense.

Su Luoluo loved making all sorts of strange gadgets, and she often used materials they’d never seen before.

It wasn’t out of the question that she’d found a place to tinker on her own.

Xi Yi, however, disagreed. "While that’s possible, I don’t recall Su Luoluo mentioning any new projects recently, do you?"

"Quite the analysis," Fu Feng said, looking Xi Yi up and down with a sneer after hearing his objection. "So, why don’t you tell us where she went?"

’This Black Bear is all talk,’ Fu Feng thought, unable to resist taking a jab at him.

Xi Yi shrugged. "I don’t know either, but I have a feeling she’s still nearby. It’s late. Where else would she be if not heading to bed?"

Hearing them bicker, Xiao Ye seemed lost in thought. Then, as if remembering something, he said:

"I remember Su Luoluo used to enjoy morning runs, but since becoming pregnant, she hasn’t run much. She switched to evening walks instead. It’s possible she just went for a walk."

"A walk?" The others thought that sounded plausible and all turned to Xiao Ye. "Where does she like to go?"

Xiao Ye’s eyes flickered. "To the north, I think."

Nantu spoke up as well. "She also likes going south."

He’d seen her running there several times while he was soaking in the hot springs, but he had never said anything.

"Then let’s check both the north and south sides."

With that, the men teleported to the woods on the north and south sides. To their disappointment, they still didn’t find her.

Fu Feng curled his lip. "Don’t tell me she got a sudden whim today to go east, a place she’s never been before!"

Mo Xuan frowned. "Since we’re already out here, we might as well go check the east."

The west was where they lived, so there was no point in looking there.

The men didn’t hold out much hope, but they headed over anyway.

Just as they’d expected, the woods were silent.

Fu Feng snorted. "She’s not here either. After we find her this time, I’m definitely going to mark her with my scent. Otherwise, she’s too damn hard to find." With that, he turned to leave.

Just then, a soft moan came from the bushes.

"Mmm... don’t..."

The sound was brief, but it wasn’t quiet.

Fu Feng heard it, and the corner of his mouth twitched.

’Someone’s actually getting it on out here,’ he thought. ’They’re really not picky about where they do it.’

’But that voice sounds kind of familiar.’

He froze, his foot hovering in mid-step.

The other men had also been about to head back, but when the voice cried out, their expressions turned strange.

That was unmistakably Su Luoluo’s voice, but she had never been so uninhibited with any of them.

Fu Feng’s brows furrowed. "So that’s why we couldn’t find her. She was busy finding a new Beastman behind our backs?"

Mo Xuan was also furious. They had been so worried about her, yet here she was, fooling around even while pregnant.

He hadn’t been intimate with Su Luoluo for days, and now someone else had beaten him to it. Before the others could react, Fu Feng shot forward. "I’m going to see which Beastman is so blind as to steal a female from us!"

However, when he got close enough to see the man, his face filled with shock. "Luan Ting? How can it be you?"

’Is that Fu Feng’s voice?’

Hearing the familiar voice, Su Luoluo’s face burned with embarrassment. ’How did he find us here?’

She hurriedly hid behind Luan Ting.

In contrast to Su Luoluo’s panic, Luan Ting seemed much calmer.

He swept a cool glance over Fu Feng and the other Beastmen behind him, then picked up the Beast Skin Skirt from the ground and draped it over Su Luoluo. "It’s me," he said calmly. "Is there a problem?"

’How dare he ask if there’s a problem?’

They had practically turned the entire mountain upside down looking for Su Luoluo, only to find him here, being all lovey-dovey with her.

"Nothing’s wrong," Fu Feng snorted. "It’s just that we spent a long time searching because we thought Su Luoluo was lost. We just didn’t expect her to be stashed away by someone."

Xi Yi crossed his arms, a wounded expression on his face as he looked at the pair. "Luoluo, didn’t you say you wouldn’t be staying out late?"

Xiao Ye also gave her a sarcastic look. "Well? What are you going to do about this?"

Nantu’s expression was cold, a rare anger clouding his features. He looked at Su Luoluo and said quietly, "If you wanted to be with Luan Ting, you should have told us beforehand."

Su Luoluo shrank back, a wave of guilt washing over her.

’None of this was my fault!’

But the five pairs of eyes staring her down were like daggers of ice, boring right into her.

A chill ran down her spine.

’What a goddamn chaotic scene.’
