Chapter 2911 - 2915: Provocateur: Volcano Kingdom’s Huo Yu!

The Eight Immortals Kingdom was newly established, and the capital was set in Thunder City.

In the streets and alleys, people talked most about Ling Xiao killing the Thunder Emperor, annihilating the Chen Royal Family, and founding the Eight Immortals Kingdom.

The name Ling Xiao was mentioned by countless people in just one day.

Those who mentioned Ling Xiao mostly did so with awe or admiration.

After all, Ling Xiao was only sixteen, youthful and bold, yet already possessed such formidable strength.

This in itself easily made him an idol or a role model for others.

Of course, inevitably, there were also some who were very displeased with Ling Xiao.

Some even wanted to take advantage of the Eight Immortals Kingdom’s unsteady footing to completely destroy it.

For instance, at this moment, a figure stood proudly outside the Royal Palace.

His gaze was cold, with a hint of disdain and confidence.

His name was Huo Yu, and he wasn’t a martial artist from the Chen Dynasty.

He was from the Volcano Kingdom.

Huo Yu came to the Chen Dynasty not for anything else but to challenge Chen Cangxiong!

Chen Cangxiong was considered the number one genius of the Chen Dynasty, while Huo Yu was one of the top three geniuses in the Volcano Kingdom.

The overall strength of the Volcano Kingdom was already stronger than that of the Chen Dynasty, so even being in the top three, he still had the资格to contend with Chen Cangxiong.

But when he arrived in the Chen Dynasty, he heard that it had already been destroyed and was now called the Volcano Kingdom.

In fact, he didn’t care whether the Chen Dynasty existed; the problem was that with the destruction of the Chen Dynasty, Chen Cangxiong had also been slain.

He was very displeased; Chen Cangxiong could only die by his hands, how could he be killed by someone else?

The Chen Dynasty could only be destroyed by his Volcano Kingdom, how could it be destroyed by others?

This year he was only nineteen, but his cultivation level had already reached the early stage of the First Cycle of Yin-Yang Realm Thirteen Hell Layers.

He considered himself capable enough to kill Chen Cangxiong.

This number one genius of the Chen Dynasty was not even fit to face the top two of his Volcano Kingdom.

Facing him, who was ranked third, was considered evenly matched.

Moreover, he had once gone to the Xuan She Demon Sect, one of the Nine Supreme Forces, to study.

Even though he only observed the cultivation of disciples from the Xuan She Demon Sect, he greatly benefited.

This time he returned to defeat Chen Cangxiong and obtain another opportunity to study at the Xuan She Demon Sect again.

The Xuan She Demon Sect, belonging to one of the Nine Supreme Forces, was the closest to the Chen Dynasty and Volcano Kingdom; for martial artists of these small countries, it was a holy land for cultivation.

As long as one could visit there, even just observing on the side for a moment, they could achieve immensely significant improvement.

Since Chen Cangxiong was already dead, then killing Ling Xiao should be fine too.

Huo Yu looked towards the Royal Palace.

In his eyes, if Ling Xiao was stronger than Chen Cangxiong, then killing Ling Xiao could also complete the task given by the Volcanic King.

"But this kid really is a coward; I have already summoned in front of the palace gate, yet he doesn’t dare to show his face. Could the rumors be false? Was it not him who killed Chen Cangxiong?"

Huo Yu felt some disdain towards Ling Xiao.

At this moment, many people were already standing in front of the palace gate.

Leading them was Chen Buyi, because the experts from Tianchi Mountain had just been incorporated, and combined with injuries from Yue Fanghua, none could participate in the battle, all were healing.

Thus, the strongest Chen Buyi and Xiao Mu Yu, of course, had to come out to deal with it.

"Be careful, Brother Yi, although this guy is young, he is not weak!"

Xiao Mu Yu looked at Huo Yu, frowning tightly.

Today’s young people, really, one is more terrifying than the other.

Just after Chen Cangxiong’s death, another Huo Yu emerged.

"I know, you be careful as well."

Chen Buyi reminded.

"You trash shouldn’t show up and lose face, let Ling Xiao come out; I didn’t come here to collect garbage!"

Huo Yu had seen Ling Xiao’s wanted poster, so he knew what Ling Xiao looked like, and obviously none of these people before him was Ling Xiao.

"Could that coward really be hiding inside the palace, not daring to meet me?

And he dares to establish some Eight Immortals Kingdom, truly laughable!"

"Shut up! Ling Xiao is not someone you can insult!"

Chen Buyi shouted.

"You have some strength, but you’re not my opponent."

Huo Yu just glanced coldly at Chen Buyi and said, "Go quickly, tell Ling Xiao to roll out and receive death.

If he’s not out in ten minutes, I’ll storm into the palace!"

"Do not push things too far!"

Chen Buyi frowned deeply.

The Eight Immortals Kingdom was just established, the situation wasn’t stable yet, and such person had come to stir trouble. If this pass weren’t overcome, it might really become a laughingstock.

He thought, then stepped out of the palace gate.

He walked towards Huo Yu.

"Who comes forth, announce your name!"

Chen Buyi shouted.

"Huo Yu, son of the Great Minister of the Volcano Kingdom!"

Huo Yu said lightly, "The countdown has already started!"

He seemed not to take Chen Buyi into account at all, simply started counting down as though no one else was around.

By this time, many onlookers had already gathered in front of the palace gates.

These people were also full of doubts about the newly established Eight Immortals Kingdom, so they also wanted to see how Ling Xiao would handle such trouble today.

"This guy named Huo Yu is really arrogant, actually daring to come alone to the palace to challenge Ling Xiao!"

"Isn’t that right, this Huo Yu is said to be even stronger than Chen Cangxiong, and he once studied at the Xuan She Demon Sect."

"Ah, one of the Nine Supreme Forces, the Xuan She Demon Sect, is definitely one of the strongest forces in the Western Region."

"But even so, Ling Xiao shouldn’t be afraid, he is the one who killed the Thunder Emperor, and the woman beside him is even more terrifying."

"Maybe something else is delaying him."

"Could be."

People were speculating, but speculation could never replace reality.

Whether Ling Xiao was stronger or this person named Huo Yu was stronger was still an unsolved mystery.

Unless the two clashed.

"Do you think there is no one in my Eight Immortals Kingdom?"

Chen Buyi drew his sword and pointed it at Huo Yu.

Even if he knew he couldn’t win, he had to fight hard once; otherwise, others would think that apart from Ling Xiao, everyone in the Eight Immortals Kingdom was a coward.

He must not allow the commoners to have such thoughts.

Even if defeated in battle, he must fight!

Otherwise, once Ling Xiao leaves, who would the people expect to protect them?

"Kill!"

Chen Buyi swung his sword and charged at Huo Yu.

"Magic Dragon True Understanding·Dragon Roar Sword!"

Immortal Grade Triple Heaven level martial skill, Chen Buyi unleashed directly.

Although the sword in his hand wasn’t the Demon Dragon Sword, it was still a Demon Sword of Mortal Emperor Tool level.

Therefore, in terms of power, it wasn’t inferior.

However, Huo Yu just looked at Chen Buyi indifferently and said coldly: "I said, after ten minutes, if Ling Xiao hasn’t shown up, I’ll storm into the palace.

But if you’re seeking death yourself, don’t blame me for being impolite!"

He raised his right hand, his fist enveloped in a mass of blazing fire.

Then he aimed and punched towards Chen Buyi.

Their cultivation levels were the same.

But their attacks were worlds apart.

Chen Buyi was struck by the blazing punching power and crashed heavily into the crowd.

While Huo Yu easily neutralized his sword move.

It took just a single move.

Huo Yu was terrifyingly powerful.

"This man is too frightening; no wonder Ling Xiao isn’t coming out, he might not be able to match him either."
