Chapter 1400 - 1387: Auntie, We’re Doing Homework in the Bedroom
Chapter 1400: Chapter 1387: Auntie, We’re Doing Homework in the Bedroom
The more a girl says that kind of thing,
the more a guy gets all worked up.
And speaking of Tangya, Luofeng couldn’t help remembering Bai Ningbing’s business outfit from just now—under these circumstances, her and Tangya’s similarity was like ninety percent.
Luofeng didn’t care whether Tangya was getting off work or not, he just scooped Bai Ningbing up and carried her straight into the bedroom.
"Ah!" Bai Ningbing cried out in surprise. "You bad man, what if Mom comes back later, what are we gonna do!"
"Don’t be scared. If she comes back and can’t see us, we’ll just say we’re in the bedroom doing homework!" Luofeng grinned wickedly.
Good grief.
Doing homework in the bedroom?
You think Tangya’s stupid?
Or is Tangya stupid?
That excuse is supposed to work?
But there’s no way Luofeng is letting Bai Ningbing off the hook—who told her to show him such a gorgeous business suit?
So now, Bai Ningbing needs to put on the outfit she wore in that news video.
Meanwhile, on the other side, at five‑thirty in the afternoon, Tangya finished work too.
She’d just locked down a big client for Jiamei Construction Company.
Her status at the bank was very high.
Working overtime was absolutely not happening.
After work, she drove off in her Porsche Cayenne.
When she got home and saw Luofeng’s shoes, of course she noticed them.
But when she opened the living room and took a look, Luofeng wasn’t there; she even deliberately checked the kitchen—still no Luofeng, and not even Bai Ningbing.
Tangya knew: if Luofeng was here, then Bai Ningbing was definitely here too. After all, Luofeng wouldn’t come over alone.
Unless it was that kind of situation? Only then would he maybe come by himself, right?
Of course, every time Tangya thought of that kind of situation, her face would flush a little. How could she even think like that?
Basically, Luofeng would just show up uninvited when Bai Ningbing wasn’t home, then with her... something would happen.
Don’t go thinking that kind of thought is evil, and don’t think it’s some villain’s mindset. As long as you’re human, the stuff in your head is all kinds of weird; nothing surprising about it.
There are even people who fantasize about committing crimes every day.
But as long as they don’t actually do it,
then what crime is there?
Tangya checked several areas of the apartment, nobody anywhere. Right now she took a deep breath, because the only place she hadn’t checked was Bai Ningbing’s bedroom.
Tangya took a deep breath; she was planning to go back to her own bedroom, change out of her work outfit into yoga clothes, do a quick session, and eat dinner afterwards.
But as she passed Bai Ningbing’s room, she noticed the door wasn’t fully closed—there was a little crack left open.
When you’re duo‑queuing in Canyon Game and really immersed, you can’t hear anything—not even if someone downstairs is setting off firecrackers, the two of you still wouldn’t break out of that state.
Tangya vaguely heard some game sounds.
And she was puzzled: she and Bai Ningbing’s father had been divorced for years now, that man hadn’t appeared in their lives for a long time.
So why was Bai Ningbing still calling "Daddy" right now?
But the second she thought of certain things, Tangya’s face flared bright red as she muttered under her breath, "That damn girl, no shame at all!"
After that she even heard stuff like "the big watermelon feels so nice" and other lines.
Tangya was speechless all over again.
This girl...
Honestly, Bai Ningbing herself was pretty helpless.
Every time Luofeng wanted her to call out something more "刺激", Bai Ningbing just couldn’t say it.
But Luofeng treated her too well.
So in the end, when it came to anything, Bai Ningbing could only compromise.
What else could she do?
Right now Tangya’s face was completely red; she didn’t even dare push Bai Ningbing’s bedroom door fully shut, she could only quietly back out into the living room.
Then she headed straight out the front door.
Once she got outside, Tangya shook her head hard. All kinds of those images were popping up in her mind, making her feel utterly shameless.
She took a deep breath and went back to the garage—she was going to hit the supermarket and buy some fruit.
Because staying at home right now was just way too awkward.
Around six‑fifteen, Bai Ningbing lightly punched Luofeng in the chest, then said in a soft, sulky voice, "See? I told you, Mom was getting off work—did you listen? No! You just wouldn’t!"
Even though Bai Ningbing didn’t know Mom had lingered at the door,
she pulled up the smart home system and saw that Tangya had come back once.
But Mom had gone out again very quickly.
That kind of record said a lot.
Either Tangya came back, discovered the two of them in the bedroom, and then left.
Or Tangya had just forgotten to buy something and doubled back to get it.
Bai Ningbing had only thought of these two possibilities; she didn’t realize Mom had stayed at the door for a while.
"Mom definitely found out!" Bai Ningbing was a bit panicked, and more than a bit embarrassed.
If she knew Tangya knew she was calling him Daddy and saying stuff like "the big watermelon feels so nice"?
Wouldn’t that be even more mortifying?
"Don’t panic. Maybe Auntie came home, remembered she’d left something at the bank, or forgot to buy something." Luofeng said calmly.
"Let’s hope it’s that." Bai Ningbing snorted softly.
Though that was a pretty flimsy hope.
Tangya wasn’t the type to be scatterbrained.
Bai Ningbing didn’t keep arguing with Luofeng; she pulled him up out of bed,
and even helped tidy him up.
Then the two of them hurriedly got dressed properly.
Once they were done, Bai Ningbing quickly got a call from Tangya.
"What do we do, Mom’s calling?" Bai Ningbing was a little flustered.
"It’s fine, baby, I’ll answer it." Luofeng said.
Bai Ningbing nodded and handed the phone to him.
"Hello, Auntie." Luofeng spoke openly and casually, not bothered by anything.
"....." Tangya was silent. She wasn’t like that silly sweetheart Bai Ningbing; she knew a lot more, and thought a lot more.
"Where’s Ningbing?" Tangya asked.
"She’s in the kitchen. Auntie, did you need something?" Luofeng said. "Oh, right, Auntie, you haven’t finished work yet?"
"Auntie, when are you coming back, do you want to have dinner at home tonight or eat out?" Luofeng was great at changing the subject—he directly shifted it to the dinner question.
Tangya said, "I’m at the supermarket buying some fruit. I’ll head back in a bit. What do you two want to eat? I’ll buy something and cook."
"Please don’t, Auntie, spare me!" Luofeng refused without hesitation.
Off to the side, Bai Ningbing almost burst out laughing.
"Auntie, Ningbing’s at home too—do you want to tell her anything?" Luofeng said.
Tangya was a little speechless.
Luofeng volunteered again, "Auntie, how about barbecue tonight?"
"Ask Ningbing what she thinks." Tangya said.
"Okay, I’ll ask her. Auntie, when are you coming back?" Luofeng asked again.
Tangya checked the time and said, "Half an hour."
She only hoped that by the time she got back, these two young people would have everything sorted out.
So she wouldn’t have to feel awkward.
