Early the next morning, Su Yunzhou was awakened by a slight noise. He looked up to see Li Yan getting out of bed as quietly as possible. Liu Yiyi, thoroughly exhausted from the previous day, was still sound asleep.

Li Yan put a finger to her lips in a "shush" gesture, then slowly made her way toward the bathroom. Su Yunzhou immediately tiptoed over to support her.

He could feel her body stiffen slightly before relaxing again.

"I can actually manage on my own!" she whispered.

"Mhm," Su Yunzhou chuckled softly, gently guiding her forward.

As they neared the door, Li Yan’s beautiful face flushed a deep red, and she spoke with a hint of embarrassment. "I... I’ll use the one outside!"

Su Yunzhou nodded slightly, helping her slowly walk out. It was still early, and there weren’t many patients in the corridor. The two of them took their time making their way to the restroom.

When Li Yan came out of the restroom, her face was inexplicably redder. Paired with the ill-fitting hospital gown, she looked somewhat... vulnerable. Su Yunzhou noticed her slight embarrassment. After escorting her back to the ward’s entrance, he said he was going to buy breakfast and headed downstairs.
