On Monday, Tess Tate, dressed in professional lawyer attire, walked out of the elevator and arrived at the floor where the CEO’s office was located.

This was her first time visiting, and the entire layout was refreshing to her, filling her with a sense of awe.

The Kingston Group was already luxurious, but the floor where the CEO’s office was located was the pinnacle of luxury, with beauty in every detail that gave one a feeling of elation.

Someone in Tess’s position doesn’t have any circumstances under which they could directly contact the CEO.

She came today solely to collect Abby Sawyer’s photographs, given that CEO Kingston mentioned she could come on Monday to retrieve them, and she had agreed, fulfilling her promise.

As Tess approached the entrance of the CEO’s office, she noticed the glass door was open, and saw a tall figure standing by the window, talking on the phone, one hand stylishly inserted in his pants pocket; he had an extraordinary aura, giving off a feeling of reigning over the world.

The girl stood still at the doorway, quietly observing him, waiting for him to finish his call.

She only refocused when he hung up the call and turned around.

Justin Kingston noticed her at that moment. Tess quickly knocked on the door and then stepped inside, "Hello, CEO Kingston."

As the girl’s steps drew closer, Justin remembered her, "You’re here for the photographs, right?" he asked, taking an envelope out of the drawer.

"Have you already made copies, CEO Kingston? Do you need anything else?" the girl asked softly.

"It’s all done." He passed the envelope containing the photographs to her with both hands, "Thank you."

"You’re welcome." The girl smiled sweetly and accepted it with both hands, "Shall I take my leave then?"

"Okay."

Tess withdrew her gaze and headed out; it was her first time here, and she wasn’t as nervous as she imagined she would be.

On her way out, she accidentally bumped into Jerry Garcia coming in, "Ah." The envelope in her hand dropped to the ground and the photographs scattered.

"I’m sorry, I’m sorry." Jerry quickly bent down to pick them up; he hadn’t expected anyone else to be there.

The girl crouched down too, hurriedly extending her hand to pick them up, "No worries, I wasn’t paying attention while walking, did I bump into you?"

Her voice was indeed lovely; Jerry couldn’t help but glance up at her, "No, no." He immediately noticed her work badge hanging around her neck.

The legal department? What was she doing here?

Jerry did not think too much and hurriedly helped her gather the photos, passing them back to her and apologizing again.

"It’s alright." Tess gave him a sweet smile, their gazes meeting briefly; she placed the photos back into the envelope and proceeded to leave.

Jerry watched her retreating figure for a moment and then proceeded into the office.

"CEO Kingston, what did you need someone from the legal department for?" Jerry inquired, concerned if there was a problem somewhere.

Seeing his anxious expression, Justin remained relaxed, "I was looking for Abby Sawyer, this girl is a high school classmate of Abby’s, so she lent me some photos which I copied."

So that’s why it was all photographs; that makes sense.

"And what about the person I asked you to contact?" Justin stylishly inserted both hands into his pockets, his gaze settling on Jerry, "Did you call?"

"She’s downstairs, on her way up," Jerry replied, then picked up a document from the desk, "Is this signed?"

"It’s signed, send it down."

"Alright." Saying this, Jerry turned and walked out.

Justin took out a contract he had personally drafted from the drawer, seated himself in the office chair, reviewing it while waiting.

It was practically flawless, with nothing that needed improvement.
