Old Mills and Sister Sterling were also seated among the guests, fortunate enough to witness this eternally warm and sweet moment, inevitably imagining what Janelle’s wedding day would be like.

She would also wear the most beautiful wedding dress, marrying the man who loves her dearly.

They didn’t know when they planned to get married. The thought filled them with a bit of anticipation and a bit of reluctance—such are the mixed emotions of being parents.

They smiled and applauded, their faces brimming with blessings.

Among the elegantly dressed guests, there was a tall girl with brown curly hair and fair skin. Her adoring gaze lingered on King Louis.

From the moment he walked toward the bride and took her hand, her eyes had not once shifted.

She was the only guest not clapping, just wearing a faint smile as she looked at him throughout.

"Look at Winnie..." The lady beside her noticed her daughter’s expression and gently nudged her husband with her elbow.

The middle-aged man in formal attire followed his wife’s gaze and saw the long-missed smile on their daughter’s face.

Winnie had been battling depression for two years, her condition fluctuating, with several suicide attempts that terrified them. It had been years since they saw her smile.

She seemed to have lost interest in everything.

But now... she was actually smiling.

She seemed in great spirits today. Following her daughter’s gaze, General Vance’s eyes fell on King Louis.

The General was startled!

The king was tall and handsome, undeniably possessing high attractiveness and charm. Not only was he young, wealthy, and powerful, but he was also a genius doctor.

Rumor had it that many girls in the royal circle admired him—could it be that Winnie also liked him?

When the General looked at his daughter again, she was beaming with joy, causing a flutter in the old father’s heart, followed by a glimmer of hope.

His daughter was saved; she had found hope to live!

By the altar, Ian Shelby and Jocelyn were kissing warmly. He tenderly caressed her cheek; today, she was stunning, and he couldn’t seem to get enough.

His eyes were full of adoration, the wedding march echoing around them, creating an extremely romantic scene.

This grand wedding feast lasted for three days and nights, plunging the entire Lorelei royal family into an unparalleled period of celebration.

The king ordered the pardon of any criminals willing to reform and promoted and gave raises to many deserving individuals.

The wedding made headlines, with global media competing to cover the event.

The news reached Riventhal, and all the girls envied the commoner queen, Jocelyn Morgan. It’s said she was a writer, prompting many to read her books and become her fans.

This surge in popularity caught Justin Kingston’s eye. As a businessman, he considered buying her book’s rights to adapt it into a TV drama, believing in keeping profits in the family.

On this day, Catherine and Taylor arrived, causing King Louis, Jocelyn, Trevor, and Janelle to stop and greet them.

Catherine beamed, this stepmother now gaining everyone’s approval.

She smiled as she took Jocelyn’s hand, "Congratulations on your wedding, daughter-in-law. I just came from the construction site; once the castle is finished, half of it will be yours!"

Then she turned to Trevor and Annie, "Annie, the other half will be yours."

"Mother, what about me?" Taylor piped up from behind, quickly asking, "At least I’m your biological son, dividing such a big castle into three parts isn’t excessive, right?"

Catherine’s expression was somewhat... she hadn’t really considered her son, the notion of even giving him a room hadn’t crossed her mind.

This elicited laughter from King Louis and the others.

Taylor joined the group, smiling, "But it’s okay, my brother and sister will accommodate me!" He then glanced at them, "Right?"

"Yes, yes, yes." Everyone chimed in, as if not answering this way would seem narrow-minded.
