Twin Treasures: The CEO Wife's 99-Day of Revelations
Chapter 1849: Wedding Countdown
Giving away something so precious so casually, sure, gifts can be given, but aren’t there many things to replace it? Why insist on giving this bracelet with special significance?
She truly loves Bertie, with a kind of romantic admiration and adoration.
The girl accepted the bracelet, and Catherine even got up to help her put it on her wrist. After chatting for a while, she escorted the young couple to the door.
Janelle and Trevor bid her farewell, "Please stay, Princess. Good night."
"Good night."
Watching their backs disappear into the night, Julie finally couldn’t hold back anymore.
She lowered her voice with a hint of anxiety, "Princess, the bracelet wasn’t bought; it was given to you by your mother when you got married. How can you give away something so important?"
"Because she is quite important," was Catherine’s answer. "She doesn’t lack money, so giving her things that can be bought is meaningless. I’m giving her my most precious thing to show how much I value her."
"..." Julie was speechless, "But she doesn’t even know!"
"One day she will know, she has a good eye for things."
"..." Julie really couldn’t understand, the princess’s status is already stable, so why try to please a princess just newly recognized?
But Catherine noticed, among the three children, Bertie cared the most about Annie.
In the royal family, it wasn’t only Catherine trying to please Annie. In just two days, Annie received various gifts, and she couldn’t remember who gave them, but they were all from the royal family.
The next morning.
Janelle Mills did aerobics in the courtyard after getting up. The courtyard in front of the castle was large, with lush trees that were hundreds of years old.
The beautiful morning light filtered through the leaves, casting dappled shadows on her.
Surrounded by the sounds of insects and birds, the air carried the fragrance of the earth.
She turned around unintentionally and saw Julie walking over alone. Meeting her gaze, Janelle realized she was coming to see her.
So Janelle directly faced her, meeting her gaze, watching her walk over.
"Good morning, Princess Annie."
"Good morning, Captain."
Julie’s gaze lingered on the bracelet on the girl’s wrist for a long time. Following her gaze, Janelle looked at her wrist, then raised it to gently stroke the bracelet, "Do you have something to tell me?"
Julie looked up, meeting the girl’s eyes, and softly spoke, "Princess, this bracelet cannot be bought, it’s an heirloom left to the princess by her mother."
"Ah?" Janelle was shocked and quickly reached to remove it.
But Julie stopped her, "That’s not what I meant, Princess. I came here today just to tell you this fact, to make you understand the princess’s intentions."
Janelle’s eyes met hers, Julie holding her wrist, and continued, "I came here on my own, the princess doesn’t know. As her confidante, after hearing her explanation last night, I thought to come and tell you, hoping you could understand my feelings."
Janelle understood, Julie wanted to tell her about Princess Catherine’s feelings for her, not to ask for the bracelet back.
The girl felt deeply moved, knowing she should give something back to Catherine.
Julie didn’t stay long, leaving after saying what needed to be said.
The royal household was especially lively these days, the wedding preparations were well underway.
Three days later.
King Louis and his commoner princess Miss Jocelyn Morgan’s dreamy castle wedding officially took place, broadcast live, the entire nation rejoiced.
Just the day before, they brought Everett Morgan and Jasmine over, and Finn Morgan brought Hailey, too. Before coming, Hailey had a full check-up, and the doctor said her condition was stable with no immediate issues.
Of course, Mia Lane and Justin Kingston accompanied them.
This royal wedding was exceptionally grand, considering the male lead is the richest king in the world.
