Is Janelle really Ian Shelby’s biological sister, is she truly the princess of Lorelei?

Everyone needs answers.

Ian glanced at everyone and then turned to follow Janelle out the door.

The door closed gently, leaving only three people in the hospital room.

Trevor looked calm, but waves of emotion stirred within him, as he walked over to Old Mills and gently patted his shoulder for comfort, "Uncle, Janelle won’t leave you."

Speaking of this topic on staying or leaving, Carlotta felt uncertain and said, "Sometimes things are out of Janelle’s control. The old King, upon knowing his lost daughter is alive, how could he not claim her? He could even forcibly take her away; such things are not beyond possibility."

"..." Everyone was silent because, back then, Ian was forcibly brought back, and the power of the royal family was not to be underestimated.

Thinking of possibly losing Janelle, Carlotta and Old Mills were both downcast, as if the sky was covered by clouds, their faces full of sorrow, even their eyes were dull.

Although the paternity test results are not yet out, they are nearly certain.

Carlotta removed the red bracelet from her wrist and cherished it as she held it in her palm.

Outside in the corridor, Janelle Mills stopped as she was walking, prompting Ian Shelby to halt beside her.

"Where do we draw blood?" she turned her gaze and calmly asked, "Can your hospital do it, or do we need to go to the paternity testing center?"

"The hospital can, it’s on the 17th floor," Ian told her, "Follow me," and led the way forward.

Janelle followed behind him, and before long, the two of them entered an elevator designated for medical staff.

As the elevator doors closed, Janelle Mills watched the numbers rise, her apprehension and unease increasing, her emotions extremely complex.

Ian cast a sideways glance, his gaze still resting on her face. He had many things he wanted to say but suddenly didn’t know where to begin.

Soon enough, the elevator doors opened, and they stepped out.

At this time, the café was being arranged according to wedding planning standards, with pink curtains and butterfly bows adorned with string lights hanging on the walls.

Henry Miller was present personally guiding, striving for perfection in every detail.

"Leave space over there for fresh flowers!"

"Yes, yes, the courtyard also needs decorating. There won’t be any rain recently, you can start preparing."

At the hospital.

As Janelle Mills was having her blood drawn, her thoughts drifted away—she wondered, are they starting to decorate the wedding venue?

Does Sister Sterling still have the heart to host a wedding now?

Can this still be considered a surprise for her?

She thought, Sister Sterling’s mood must have hit rock bottom.

Ian Shelby was also having his blood drawn, his gaze continuously on this girl, he could almost read her emotions—for a person who is loyal and righteous, the royal identity of being a princess of Lorelei is insignificant.

So the one feeling disappointed should be his father.

Both had their blood drawn, and a professional said to them, "Director, the results will be out in ten minutes, are you waiting here?"

"Yes," Ian would, of course, wait.

"Then please wait a moment," with that, the person took the two blood samples inside.

Janelle returned to her senses and turned her gaze, finding Ian still watching her without blinking. She asked, "How is my mother’s health? Did you check her? Is she ready to be discharged?"

Unexpectedly, her first question was about this—it seemed she had no interest in her own background at all?

This surprised Ian.

Meeting the girl’s gaze, she continued, "My mother said her head occasionally hurts, please have Dr. Shelby do a detailed examination when he has the time."

Ian felt a little uneasy hearing this address.
