Turns Out, I’m In A Villain Clan!

Chapter 415 Beast Tide Came to an End

Chapter 415 Beast Tide Came to an End

Bai Chu's gaze remained calm as Mó Zün finished speaking.

"There won't be a next time," Bai Chu said flatly. "Mó Zün, you can't escape today."

For a moment, it truly seemed that way.

Mó Zün was severely wounded.

The Half-Qilin was crippled.

Most Demonic Cultivators Immortals lay dead or dying.

The battlefield belonged entirely to the Desolate Heaven Empire.

Yet-

Mó Zun smiled.

It was slow and deeply unsettling.

Bai Chu's pupils shrank.

Too relaxed.

Too assured.

Before Bai Chu could react, a ripple of movement appeared behind Mó Zūn. Figures emerged beside Mó Zün.

Bai Chu's eyes narrowed.

He didn't sense their presence at all.

(Since when have they been here?)

Bai Chu was surprised by their sudden appearance.

No matter how focused he was fighting Mó Zün, his sense was always keeping eyes on interference from others.

But he totally didn't sense them until now.

And he also didn't recognize them.

Yet the aura they radiated was unmistakable: Earth Immortal.

Having lived so long, and knowing that Earth-Immortals were rare, Bai Chu was familiar with almost all of them.

And he also didn't recognize them.

Yet the aura they radiated was unmistakable: Earth Immortal.

Having lived so long, and knowing that Earth-Immortals were rare, Bai Chu was familiar with almost all of them.

Yet the two who appeared didn't resemble anyone he knew.

Two of them stepped forward, shielding Mó Zün. Bai Chu raised his sword, Immortal Qi flaring, ready to face them alone.

The three collided instantly.

CLANG! CLANG!

Bai Chu responded with precision, parrying and countering, but the two Earth Immortals pressed him relentlessly.

Each strike forced him to adjust, each feint pushed him off balance.

Exhaustion from using Fate Severing Slash weighed on him. His arms burned,

his movements slightly slower.

Step by step, he was driven backward, sliding through the air as his feet

struggled to find footing.

Against two Earth Immortals, even Bai Chu could not maintain control.

Bai Chu realized that they were stronger than almost any cultivator he had ever faced-stronger, perhaps, than Mó Zün himself.

(Who are they?)

Mó Zün wondered. There was no way he wouldn't recognize someone as

strong as them.

Mó Zūn's smile widened, his calm demeanor unbroken. He took a step back, letting his supporters handle Bai Chu with effortless control.

A single gesture from Mó Zún sent tremors across the battlefield.

"Retreat!"

He commanded.

Mó Zun's eyes lingered on Bai Chu.

"See you next time!"

He said lightly, his voice carrying a threat hidden in casual words.

As he vanished into the sky, leaving Bai Chu standing alone, reeling, forced to confront the two Earth Immortals who had stayed behind to ensure he could

not pursue immediately.

Bai Chu steadied himself, sword in hand, his robes fluttering violently in the winds left behind by the departing Mó Zün.

"Who are you? Why are you helping Mó Zūn?"

Bai Chu demanded.

".."

No answer came.

After Mó Zün disappeared from view, the two Earth Immortals also began to

retreat.

Whoosh!

Bai Chu didn't chase. He still didn't fully understand their power, and going after them alone would be dangerous.

Not to mention, while the threat of Demonic Cultivators was gone, Demonic Beasts-including Immortal Realm ones-still roamed the battlefield.

"Tsk!"

Bai Chu clicked his tongue, frustrated that an opportunity to kill Mó Zün had

been wasted.

More than anger, he was wary of the two mysterious figures who had

intervened.

"Just where the hell did they come from?"

***

The battlefield remained chaotic.

"Retreat!" Mó Zun's command resounded through the battlefield.

Demonic Cultivators didn't need to be told twice.

Many were waiting for the command since they were getting overwhelmed by

the Desolate Heaven Empire's force.

Now that Mó Zün gave the order, they didn't wait.

Still, retreating was far from easy. Bai Zihan, along with Great Ascension Realm

cultivators, carved through the fleeing Demonic Cultivators, leaving no room for easy escape.

Within minutes, the surviving Demonic Cultivators were forced to flee with

their tails between their legs.

Though not many from Bai Zihan's side managed to escape.

And those that did were missing one or two limbs.

Yet the war was far from over. Demonic Cultivators were gone, but the Demonic Beasts still needed to be

dealt with.

For Bai Zihan, it was also a chance to farm the last of his System Points.

After Demonic Cultivator's departure, his eyes obviously shifted to those Grade-9 Demonic Beasts.

With the Demonic Cultivators gone, the battlefield shifted even further in the

Desolate Heaven Empire's favor.

Demonic Beasts now faced human reinforcements who had previously been occupied fighting the Demonic Cultivators.

The overwhelming numbers that had once belonged to the Demonic Beasts

were now turned against them.

Bai Zihan led the charge, Great Ascension Realm cultivators raining down precise, devastating attacks.

Their formations carved through the lesser Demonic Beasts like a scythe through wheat.

Even without fully unleashing their power, the humans' superiority was undeniable.

At the center, the Half-Qilin-their leader-stood battered and mutilated.

Its forearms gone, torso ripped and bleeding, yet its colossal form radiated

unbroken rage.

"Human! Don't think I will go down easily!"

It roared, the sound shaking the battlefield itself. Despite the state he was in, he

still didn't get scared or ran away.

Even crippled, its Demonic Qi flared violently, a force of raw destruction aimed

at anyone who dared approach.

Bai Ren, Zhao Wujin, and Yu Xuande still struggled to finish off the half-dead

Half-Qilin.

No matter how injured, it's body was still tough and almost no attack had any

effect.

But soon, Bai Chu and the other Immortals who had been fighting Demonic Cultivators joined the fray.

The Half-Qilin fought back with every ounce of strength left, slashing and tearing at the air.

But against so many Immortal Realm cultivators, even such a legendary beast could not hold.

Its Demonic Qi sputtered and died, leaving nothing but a broken, lifeless husk.

With the leader fallen, the remaining Demonic Beasts panicked. Many fled, while others fought to their last breath.

The Immortals turned to the remaining powerful Demonic Beasts, killing them

efficiently.

The weaker ones were eradicated swiftly. One strike from an Immortal could

fell hundreds, even Grade-10 Demonic Beasts.

With an overwhelming advantage, Desolate Heaven Empire has killed almost 80

% of Demonic Beasts in an hour while the rest have escaped.

The Beast Tide had come to an end!
