Chapter 1417 - 554: Return to the World Scar_2

"So why are you all here at this time? And what about the demon shipwrecks around here, what’s the deal with the demons?

You wiped out Apato’s Demon Fleet?"

Listening to the Holy Blade Saintess’s questions.

Alka smiled and said, "Let’s tackle your questions one by one, starting with your last question.

If the Apato you’re talking about is a demon wielding double axes, who strengthens his body’s power with blood-red patterns during battle, then it’s definitely the one I destroyed."

"Returning and annihilating a troublesome key target right away?"

Annabelle laughed, then crossed her arms.

"Welcome back, may the Holy Mother bless you."

"I’m also very happy to be back," Alka replied with crossed arms, smiling.

Then Anaphel looked at Alka with a smile and said, "Our mission this time was to intercept Apato’s fleet, but since you’ve eradicated them once and for all, our mission is essentially complete. We’ll talk about any issues later; this isn’t the place for discussions."

Alka nodded.

Then returned to the Dawn Sound.

Joined the fleet and began following the flagship back home.

During the voyage, Alka soon saw the distinctive quick sea lanes surrounding the World Scar.

On this quick sea lane, they saw the most ships they’d ever seen in their lives.

Not counting the ships speeding along the lane, just those heading towards the lane numbered dozens alone.

They could even see those dense ships in the distance, gathering like ants.

This means there were hundreds of ships within their field of view.

It was an extremely exaggerated number.

But judging from the expressions of those on the decks of other ships around them, it was clear they were already accustomed to it.

That makes sense.

Although the World Scar spans a large area, and the surrounding sea is vast, countless powers and islands from across the Endless Sea are sending personnel and resources to this region.

So many ships here are very normal.

Alka and the others even saw, like the fleet they were in now, five or six fleets of similarly special ships heading in different directions. There were also one or two fleets probably returning from missions, with many damages and injured on board.

Seeing this scene, Alka observed more closely.

He found indeed many ships had traces of damage.

Evidently, these cruising battle fleets had priority rights.

As they approached, ships all around made way, letting this fleet advance first onto the quick sea lane, proceeding at rapid speed to return.

The ship of Akka and the others stood out even here.

Many crew members on other ships noticed, as this ship, completely against the fleet style, was very conspicuous.

After all, whose ship doesn’t have a mast topped with a giant tree resembling an umbrella?

The elemental crystals from the tree, reflecting beautifully under the sunlight.

The entire ship was so vibrant.

Plus, with their world-renowned reputation from circumnavigating the globe.

Their ship’s appearance had spread worldwide.

Many people on those ships recognized it.

During their voyage on the quick sea lane, Akka and the others soon saw the World Scar from afar.

And now, the sight of the World Scar from a distance was entirely unfamiliar to them.

The soaring volcano was extremely noticeable, spewing thick smoke into the sky.

Previously, such an exaggerated volcano did not exist, and they could clearly see the conspicuous black spatial disturbance in the volcanic area.

It was the expansion range of the world rift, large enough to affect the environment.

From afar, the island looked apocalyptic.

They could even see legion battles around the island.

The only safe zone was the area they were heading to, extending roughly 90 degrees from the island.

All ships entered the island from this funnel-like place.

As they approached closer.

This funnel-like area took up their entire view.

"Impressive."

Looking at the area ahead, Jason was stunned, mumbling to himself.

Not just Jason, even Akka and the others were frozen there.

They had only been away for less than 10 years.

Yet felt this place was completely unfamiliar.

Alongshoreline had entirely transformed into a port area.

That meant everything within their view belonged to the port.

Endless ships lined up at these ports.

Countless ships coming and going, forming perhaps hundreds of lanes, like ants bustling around.

It appeared chaotic, but was orderly and efficiently perfect.

They could even see many sea creatures in the ocean wielding power-formed beacons guiding the ships’ directions.

What kind of scene was this?

Completely unimaginable.

And the entire coastline stretched upwards, forming a massive city beyond sight.

At the city’s center was a tower rising up.

Calling it a tower, it more resembled a cylindrical pillar hundreds of meters tall.
