Treasure Hunting System: The Ocean Conquerer

Chapter 1407 - 551: Mastering Crown Level Treasure

  • Next Chapter

The Sound of Dawn kept circling endlessly around the perimeter where the Dream Island had sunk into the Dream Realm.

Everyone’s various Perception Skills rippled forward without pause, probing the area ahead.

"To forcibly drag the entire Island into the Dream Realm, he must have used the power within his own Dream Realm.

Before he achieved Divine ascension through the Dream Realm, he would never have been able to do this." Jason said to the group beside him.

The implication of these words needed no further explanation.

From what they’d just witnessed, and from the final moment when he entered the dream, it was clear that Alka had chosen to accept the power within the Dream Realm.

That meant Alka’s body was already gradually collapsing.

Even though Alka’s body had reached the Eighth Stage, it was still far from the level needed to bear a Divine soul, spirit, and power.

However, dragging the Island and himself down into the Dream Realm was a relatively good approach; it could relieve the strain on his physical vessel.

It should be able to prolong the time he could wield that power.

At this moment Chadite was staring at the Hourglass in her palm.

Though worried and tense, she forcibly suppressed her emotions, making herself remain calm; pale moonlight kept radiating around her.

The icy moonlight constantly suppressed the emotions of everyone nearby, allowing all of them to maintain sufficient composure.

"Three minutes have passed. Time flows no differently in the Dream Realm than in reality. There isn’t much time left."

Lucilia had reverted to her normal mixed-form state and said from the side, "According to my earlier estimate, once Alka bears all the soul and spirit power of his Dream Realm, his body can endure for at most five minutes.

But the problem is, once it exceeds four minutes, his body will start to have major issues."

"With Potential Ignition, I can burn his potential and force his body to hold together." Matilda said from the side.

Things had already reached this stage; whether or not to burn herself no longer mattered.

It might even be better for her to burn herself than to let his body simply collapse on its own.

So Matilda decided to wait until she saw the specific condition of Alka’s body before deciding exactly how to develop and burn that potential.

"So there are two minutes left. He has to come out within these two minutes." Chadite took a deep breath.

"But... none of this actually solves the problem." Simon said beside her.

Indeed.

This fundamentally did not solve the problem.

It only prolonged the time Alka’s body could hold on; in the end, what would truly resolve the problem still had to be a Crown Level Treasure.

"Last time, the body structure of the God of Rebirth was constructed using a Scepter Level Treasure. This time it has to be at least Crown Level, right?" Jason said.

His meaning was obvious.

Regardless of whether that Treasure was suitable or not, they would first forcibly place it under Alka’s control, to stabilize the rank of his physical vessel.

After a brief exchange, They had already made their decision.

Ulllius used clouds to lift everyone to the air above the area where the Island had sunk, just waiting for the Island to rise again from the Dream Realm.

As for Alka’s failure.

They had never even considered it.

Because this was Alka’s greatest trump card—when he sank everything into the Dream Realm, the God of Rebirth would face a Divine in the Dream Realm with the power of a mortal at the absolute peak.

Chadite watched the Hourglass in her hand, watching the time trickle away, grain by grain.

The moonlight on her body grew stronger and stronger.

"He’s coming!"

Julia sensed a change in the surrounding environment.

As expected, it was like a warped spatial shift.

The Island rose once more into reality.

What came into their view.

Was a ruined Island, its surface covered in cracks and craters.

But the masses of flesh that had once covered it were gone, leaving only that black tower behind.

The figure of the God of Rebirth was nowhere to be seen.

The instant the Island appeared.

Everyone moved at once.

Alka, his whole body torn to shreds, with less than half of him remaining, was sitting on a stone chair.

His eyes were closed; although the pits and broken parts on his body were repairing.

He had only half a leg and a single arm left; his chest, abdomen, and other areas were riddled with gaping holes and missing chunks of flesh.

Blood and organs spilled out around him.

Alka’s body was still instinctively patching itself up, but it was almost completely exhausted.

The speed of repair was not even one-tenth of the rate at which he was losing it.

A large number of fine needles glowing with green light pierced into Alka’s body, and the bleeding stopped in an instant.

Immediately after, blood-red flames ignited over Alka’s body, and his potential was triggered.

This was already the final tier, the level beneath burning oneself entirely.

Lucilia immediately transformed into a soul form and dove into Alka’s body; she needed to construct a Soul Bridge within him to stabilize his soul.

Vines sprouted from the ground, completely replacing the stone chair on which Alka sat.

The vines surged with intense Life Energy, pouring into Alka’s body.

Under the combined efforts of the two of them.

The mutilated parts of Alka’s body rapidly knit together.

But that was only surface-level repair.

At this point Alka no longer had the strength to speak.

He couldn’t even disturb the frailty of his body, couldn’t even project his soul’s voice outward.

He could only raise his hand and point at the black tower.

At that moment, silver light flashed and appeared before Alka.

And Chadite appeared holding a heap of things in her hands.

Three items that looked like artifacts, and one construct that resembled a crystal filled with liquid.

In an instant, Chadite locked onto the three items piled together and left on the Island; barring accident, they should be what the God of Rebirth left behind after his death.
