"Is it the same situation in the Real World?"

He couldn’t help but make comparisons.

Lucilia shook her head, "The strength in the Real World is different from that in the Dream Realm.

Although Alka often uses the stages of power in the Dream Realm to explain things, you must understand that it’s just a rather general way of summarizing.

In reality, there are quite significant differences in the strength gap between each level.

The way power operates is a bit different; I actually suspect... advancing from the Eighth Stage to the Ninth Stage in the Dream Realm might be akin to the concept of an Ascension Ceremony in the Real World."

Upon hearing Lucilia’s words, everyone turned to her expectantly, hoping she’d provide some answers.

This line of thought hadn’t occurred to them before.

Seeing the expressions in their eyes, Lucilia continued, "In the Great Library, there’s a specific shelf dedicated entirely to records of the Dream Realm, since it’s the other facet of the world, isn’t it?

Various mental forms of Intelligent Life have been reflected and manifested there.

So, there are many research records, even though they don’t explicitly state it, based on what I’ve seen and my insights from traversing the Dream Realm, it might really be like that."

However, to get Lucilia to truly explain some reasons, she doubts anyone would understand, as everyone specializes in different areas.

But having gained this understanding, they all nodded, somewhat understanding why Alka needed to spend long periods in the Dream Realm.

"Never mind, let’s split into two groups and head to the Island to understand things first.

Since Alka needs some time, we can just wait here."

Anyway, this is an Island that has a nice little town; spending more time on land might be beneficial.

Beyond here, at the distant World Scar.

"Damn it! Devouring Mouth, tell me why our power has been weakened again? You said that as long as the gates opened wide enough, nothing could affect us."

A massive Demon, standing over ten meters tall, stared at the Devouring Mouth beneath its feet, roaring angrily.

Although the Devouring Mouth was much smaller compared to its stature, it remained calm and said, "Since we are invading to destroy this world, naturally the enemy will try every means to restrict us.

Isn’t it as it should be? What do you think this world is, hmm?

This isn’t one of those weak worlds that fall apart into fragments becoming part of the Abyss just because some random Demon rushes in, is it?

Or have you bullied the weak for so long that you’ve begun to fear fighting against the strong?"

"You’re spouting nonsense! You damned loser."

Their quarrel didn’t affect the conversations of the other Demons around them.

All gathered here were Demon Lords summoned for an attack on the World Scar.

Once they learned from the Devouring Mouth about this world, about its history, they were already prepared for a prolonged war, ready to devour this world at any cost.

So, these little situations were completely anticipated.

Especially since a few years ago, they had already sensed the brief conflict among the gods outside the world barrier.

One, feeling the enemy’s strength, and two, knowing their efforts, if successful, would yield huge rewards.

Enough for all these Demons to share, yet whether they’ll actually share or fight amongst themselves in the end is a matter for later.

"Has anyone investigated what the problem is?"

Lately, for unknown reasons, the World Scar’s suppression on the Abyss’ aura has suddenly intensified.

Causing all Demons’ power to regress one step, just when those damned humans managed to hold the line. Rendering nearly all their efforts over the past year futile in an instant.

Making their full-scale attack suddenly lose the expected advantage.

This is why that Demon was so enraged, as he was at the forefront, suffering the most losses.

He was, of course, extremely angry.

"I suspect it might be due to the Dream Realm."

A presence cloaked like mist but draped with something resembling flesh said.

"Really? Did you sense it?"

"Yes, a powerful entity is being born in the corresponding Dream World."

"Is there a way to..."

"Don’t even think. As long as this world hasn’t been dragged into the Abyss, don’t try to affect the corresponding dream.

That would only cause our efforts to be wasted, and although I really don’t like the Devouring Mouth, necessary calm and patience is what’ll yield enough benefits."

"Fine, you’re the expert in this area, I’ll take your advice then."

A nearby Demon couldn’t help but ask, "So, does that mean such suppression is unavoidable?"

"Of course, wasn’t this expected? If it were that easy, why would we need you to join us? To let you share the fruits of our millennia of labor?"

This person was the previous leader at the World Scar.

Upon hearing this.

Some Demons around smiled, while others sneered disdainfully.

The scene almost spiraled out of control again.

But this is just the daily life of Demons; should Demons manage to maintain peace among themselves, it would truly be ridiculous.

If Demons could peacefully unite, this world would have long been under their control. It would go against the Demons’ inherent chaotic nature, which is the fundamental essence.

Without it, Demons would cease to be Demons, losing the feared label of chaotic energy.

If not for the existence of the Abyss, these Demons would have begun battling each other ages ago.
