Treasure Hunting System: The Ocean Conquerer
Chapter 1339 - 528: God of Rebirth (2)
The entity controlling the Flesh Nest might be the no-face monster Alka and the others saw on Black Steel Island, with stone-gray skin.
It should be the previous cultists’ members.
Their members were extremely scarce, and they didn’t have the ability to inspect these blood and flesh bodies thoroughly.
"Thump thump, thump thump..."
A sound of heartbeats echoed.
Such powerful heartbeats involuntarily synchronized the heartbeats of everyone around the island.
Soon, giant tentacles started emerging around the island, launching a counterattack.
These tentacles grew longer and stronger.
However, the people around were already prepared, and quickly resisted the attack.
Amidst the sound of heartbeats.
The moon in the sky suddenly crashed down.
Plummeting straight down toward the source of the beating heart.
As it touched the flesh, a gentle yet blinding light instantly formed a massive flash.
Even the members on the coast resisting the tentacles squinted slightly.
As if the sun had set.
The gigantic moon fell, creating a huge depression in the heart area, like a meteor crash.
Members waited in the light and immediately rushed in.
Alka and the others appeared in the sky through mirror surface transmission after destroying the digestion pool.
Thunder in the sky began to flash wildly, continuously striking the flesh.
When Alka and his companions entered the place with a heart inside.
A swarm of flesh monsters rushed at them.
These monsters were at the fourth and fifth stages of strength.
Flames spread, igniting all monsters in an instant as Alka waved his hand.
All monsters shattered like broken mirrors, making the entire space sparkle.
Among the monster group was a powerful flesh creature around the sixth stage.
The strong figures Alka brought immediately confronted it.
Beneath the enormous heart that seemed like a building, a faceless man sat kneeling.
He kept mumbling something.
Alka’s figure appeared behind him.
He grabbed the creature’s head directly, the power of energy and the Dream Realm invading it.
"Still retaining a soul."
Showing transformation from a human.
He seemed like the leader.
Without hesitation, Alka transformed energy into blade to pierce the creature’s interior. The puncture wound started spreading energy throughout its body.
"My, my Divine... will."
Alka had no intention of listening to him and immediately beheaded the creature.
He looked at the heart overhead.
Energy gathered and directly thrown upward.
The immense energy, all chaotic elements, was enveloped by space and then entered the heart’s interior through the mirror image characteristic combined with the Dream Realm’s illusion.
Alka prepared to detonate it.
But it didn’t explode.
The recently inserted combined energy disappeared.
Seeing this, Alka immediately jumped back to dodge.
Something was wrong.
The heart actually dispersed.
Or rather, the heart suddenly gathered together like a flesh union.
A silhouette fell from the heart, opening its eyes.
His body was completely naked, resembling a regular human with long ash-green hair.
From the physical features, no clear gender inclination could be discerned.
He opened his eyes, gazing around.
Watching those flesh monsters being slaughtered one-sidedly.
With a wave of his hand.
All monsters seemed to have been enhanced and entered a frenzy state.
One flesh monster was kicked over by Chadite, crashing towards this inexplicably appearing man at the center.
He casually slapped it.
The monster turned into something resembling flesh energy, becoming a spear in his hand.
"Crack, crack, crack!"
An ear-piercing sound as if bones were being rubbed.
Wings spread open behind the man, composed entirely of bones, flesh, and fascia.
Flesh spread across his body.
Covering his bare skin, then transforming into a flesh-like armor.
The armor’s flesh no longer appeared grotesque, seamlessly combined as if perfectly muscles stitched together.
An eerie beauty.
"Ah... such a nostalgic place, back by mother’s side again.
Why, why wouldn’t you just die properly?"
The creature muttered to itself.
Then looked at Alka.
"You are a follower of the Sister, hmm... quite good."
He looked at Alka and nodded with satisfaction.
"Would you like to worship me? In that case, I’ll forgive you for slaughtering my followers. I’m more generous than my sister and more suitable."
After speaking, he smiled and stood there, completely not intending to attack, seemingly genuinely waiting for Alka’s answer.
Even though his words were short, the information was explosively profound.
According to their knowledge, one who fights using spears and prefers flesh as armor, isn’t that the God of Rebirth?
The most absurd part was he referred to the Holy Mother as sister.
It seemed he might be telling the truth.
The issue is Alka and the others hadn’t discovered this in records.
Which means they were facing a Divine.
Clearly, not a real appearance, but some kind of avatar, but problematically, an avatar of a Divine.
