Tidying his attire and hat, he walked toward the cave.

As he arrived at the entrance, he saw under the moonlight a shimmering lake surface, and a spear made of flowing water, crackling with electricity, shot toward him.

Seeing the water-electro spear, the Mouth of Devourance immediately sidestepped to dodge it.

The spear whizzed past his cheek, and the attack shot directly into the sky.

The entire process seemed exceptionally relaxed and carefree for the Mouth of Devourance.

"Get lost, damned Demon, no trash from the Abyss is welcome here."

Upon hearing the thunderous voice from within the seawater, the Mouth of Devourance smiled and said, "Don’t be so heartless, friend, we are in this together."

Electric light continuously surged from the water, subsequently illuminating the entire water surface.

Seeing this situation, the Mouth of Devourance couldn’t help but raise an eyebrow.

It was known that his avatar strength amounted to just about the Sixth Stage, which couldn’t withstand such an attack.

"Don’t get angry, this body only has a Sixth Stage strength. If you accidentally kill it, I might not return. It’s better to think things through before acting."

"You’re threatening me?" A roaring thunderous sound rose from the seabed.

The Mouth of Devourance shrugged, saying nothing more, but the meaning was obvious.

After a moment, with a slightly mocking smile on the Mouth of Devourance’s face, a massive creature emerged from the lake.

A vast amount of seawater surged forth, and as the water fell back into the lake, the creature’s appearance was revealed.

This was a monstrous creature resembling a whale, but with slender, sharp tentacles on its body.

A huge mouth cracked open, covered with scars tainted by the Abyss’ aura, with several rows of dense serrated teeth inside the gaping maw.

Numerous eyes were arranged on its head.

These eyes were crooked and bizarre, as if carelessly pasted on; each pupil was vertically aligned like those of a Demon.

At least a hundred eyes collectively stared at the Mouth of Devourance standing at the cave entrance.

"Speak, what do you want to gain by coming here at this time?"

Upon hearing this, the Mouth of Devourance smiled, then pointed at the Son of the Sea God in front of him.

"It’s simple, I need you. You should be able to sense it, right? The aura of the Abyss in the entire world is rising.

Otherwise, you wouldn’t have suddenly started displaying your power and aura, and I wouldn’t have found you to seek you out."

Listening to the Mouth of Devourance, the Son of the Sea God didn’t react much but instead asked, "You’re not going to make me join you in fighting against the Four Gods, are you?"

The Mouth of Devourance nodded.

The moment he nodded, a deluge of Thunder poured in, shattering the rocks around the Mouth of Devourance into dust.

The Thunder even damaged the clothes and skin of the Mouth of Devourance.

"How dare you still say such things to me? You damned traitors, if it weren’t for you, I wouldn’t have ended up like this."

It was clear that the Son of the Sea God once trusted the Demons, fell into the Abyss, but didn’t leave with them and ended up in his current state.

"Can you blame us? When failure loomed, even I was sealed for nearly ten thousand years, close to death. Upon returning, I even had my Lord status stripped away.

If even I was treated this way, how could you expect to be unscathed, with your feeble mind?"

The Mouth of Devourance cursed without hesitation.

"And look, you turned into a true waste, holding no use at all. You don’t even dare face your father, who caught you.

Already fallen into the Abyss, there’s no way back for you, yet you pleaded for your father’s forgiveness and even divulged our plan."

At this, the Mouth of Devourance let out a light chuckle, filled with contempt and relief.

Luckily, although the plan he revealed was true, what was initially told to him was false.

This led to an erroneous action by the Four Gods and the Divine attempting to save the world at the time.

"Luckily, these Divines are so selfish, watching the world about to be destroyed to achieve their own ends."

The formidable army of numerous Divines preferred to see the world destroyed, though the ultimate outcome was that he was directly eradicated after success.

Yet the world was still destroyed by his hand, although he gained no benefits in the end and even lost a significant amount of former resources, the achievement of destroying a vast world forever lingered in his mind.

This is why, although he was ultimately obliterated by the Divines, with the lingering remnants of soul left in the Abyss, he could resurrect once more.

His actions led to a significant reward from the Abyss, reviving him from the brink of certain death, even though all former glories were lost.

On the surface, he showed little, but deep within, he was profoundly proud of himself.

Such an achievement allowed him to face almost every Demon with arrogance.

Because that was the reality.

None with his level of performance was like him. Those with better records, their strength was undoubtedly much higher than his.
